Not your regular hamburger! This place has noodles, dumplings, and anything you never thought you needed on a BURGER! Have you had cucumber on a burger? It is something you never thought you needed. This is a great place to eat, fries and a burger, or dumplings and sauce to go with them, I haven't tried the other things on the menu, but I bet they are all as great as what I have already tried, The menu is very descriptive, some ingredients on the burger have some HEAT so you know to BEWARE! Hit Arden's on my way back from Atlanta. Got a Tiger burger with fries to go. One of the best burgers in all of South Carolina. The fries are top 5 in the state as well. The staff is so incredibly friendly and they have a private lot as a part of the strip mall they are in. Easy in and easy out. Maybe 8 minutes off the interstate. Absolutely recommend!! read more

Another Yelp hidden gem that I found on several area Elite's public best of lists. Arden's is the epitome of a hole in the wall that I never would have found on my own while passing through. Minimal seating and there were many regulars that picked up to-go orders in the short time I was there. After ordering at the counter my Tiger Burger (Fresh Ground Beef, House Mayo, Bacon, Lettuce, Grilled Onions and American Cheese) and Fries arrived amazingly fast. I left off the grilled onions. I agree with many other reviewers that this was a really good old fashioned flat top griddle burger. The Asian seasoning made for a unique and pleasant taste. The fries were also old fashioned hand cut style and a great combination of a slight crisp outside but tender inside. Great value as well. read more

This is probably the best burger joint in the area. Fast service, unique toppings, and hand cut french fries. And at $8.99 for burger and fries, it's cheaper than most fast food places. The meat itself tasted like it was frozen at some point, and that's the only reason for subtracting one star. read more

Locally owned and operated. Awesome burger. Service was stellar. Ambiance is...needs some work. The owner admitted that some customers go to Jersey Mikes due to his 70's mud colored tile floors and equally dated decor. He's working on it. The guy does not have the deep pockets of the owners of chains-throwing down $100k for turnkey. I told him if he gets his floors done I'll paint his walls for free. Every thing is cooked with an Asian style and or seasonings. Even the "American" burger. The meat was cook in or on the same grill with soy sauce. It was not what I expected. I won't be going back. First time visit to Arden's and it won't be our last! All fresh ingredients and burgers made fresh daily! The owner greeted us when we walked in the door, and was very friendly and explained the different burgers and which ones where customer favorites. I ordered the knock out burger and loved it... I wasn't sure if I would like cucumbers on a burger but it was a great combination with the cilantro, jalapeños and home made sauce . The sauce was so good I asked for extra so I could dip my fries in it! Speaking of the fries - are fresh cut daily and cooked to order so they are piping hot when delivered. I swear was probably equal to two potatoes! My husband ordered the tiger burger. He was impressed that the bacon was cooked perfectly - nice and crispy! He also like the special sauce on the burger... my husband loves hot fresh fries and he was not able to finish his portion! Shocking! We told the owner this and he mentioned that on our next trip we could substitute one of the fries for a side salad or vegetables (Broccoli or squash etc.) read more

My wife and I got takeout for lunch. The order-taker at the counter volunteered to bring the order out to the car, which was very nice. The burgers were big, hot and juicy. I got the Arden (teriyaki) burger, and my wife got the Vietnamese one. The teriyaki flavor on mine was subtle rather than in your face, in a good way. The Vietnamese one was prepared like a bhan mi, with pickled, shredded carrot, and daikon, sliced fresh jalapenos, and a flavorful sauce. It definitely had a very noticeable not-your-usual-burger flavor, and that fresh jalapeno was *spicy*. I'd happily get either again. They both came with fries, which were plentiful, crispy, and tasty. I'm not a big fan of hand-cut fries because they're usually tough through and through. Five Guys, I'm looking at you. But, these fries were prepared perfectly. I also got the egg rolls. How do I put this? They don't hold a candle to my favorite egg rolls; but they are well above average for most American-Chinese restaurants. Ordered the Seoul burger with fries, and an order of egg rolls (2), to go. The burger was very good. It had a spicy and meaty taste. It was different from anything that I have tried on a burger. Perfectly cooked, and with a cheese and egg topper, had a good balance of flavors. It was not the best burger I have ever eaten, but was fresh and delicious. The fries were freshly cut that day, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Honestly, the eggrolls were probably the best I have ever tried anywhere. Very light and fluffy, but crispy and perfectly cooked. Do not judge this place by appearance! The end store of a strip mall, it was very tiny, cramped, and in serious need of a makeover. One bite, and you are in heaven. A regular, Charlie, bought one order of egg rolls for us and another table, just what he does for first-timers. I almost changed my order to egg rolls and fried rice after trying them, but stuck to my original plan of the Tiger burger. Others had the Seoul and Thai burgers, all were delicious. The fries were reminiscent of those from a county fair with vinegar or ketchup on the table. Service was fast and friendly and the food came promptly. We will definitely be back. I couldn't give them a 5 because it was so small and cramped, but you never had to hunt down your server and could watch you food being prepared. However if you aren't into Asian type of tastes, you're list is a bit shorter. The appetizer list is a bit short here, it's obvious you come here for the burger. So, I got the tiger burger, a spicier burger that I found to be just a bit spicy but not over the top. I also had a bite of the Seoul Burger. The patties are probably of average or a little small, but the meat is stand out. The toppings is really what put the burger over the top, you'll leave having a pleasant but not over the top amount of food. I looked up Arden's on yelp and saw the good rating, but I guess I didn't actually read any of the reviews. I strolled in this weekend to grab a quick burger thinking it was your typical burger shack, but it turns out that I walked into an Asian-American fusion wonderland. The menu is packed with awesome Asian influenced burgers and hibachi plates. The chef directed me towards the Seoul burger since I told him I liked spicy food. I'm not always the most adventurous eater, but I decided to trust him and go for it even though I was a bit out of my comfort zone. It was AWESOME. I must texted or called 10 people to tell them they needed to go try the place. The staff was unbelievably nice. The chef came out and checked on us after we got our food to make sure we liked everything. We talked to him more as we were paying our tab at the register and ended up buying a shirt too to help support them and spread the word. I really can't say enough nice things about them. It's so good. That's just one of the unique Asian style burgers. Also noodles and rice dishes available. He's had a hard time keeping help like most every other place and the last couple times in he's been the only one doing it all so be nice to the nice guy .
