We had such a great time! The kids had such a blast that they were asking to go back right after we left. Our party of 11 came in on a Saturday night and stayed til closing. We started off with 1 hour of bowling then transitioned to the kids play area (slides, trampolines, zip lining) and arcade games after our hour was up. We were surprised that it wasn't as busy as we thought! We didn't have a hard time getting a large table for our entire party to sit together even though seating is first come first serve. Food was good - came out hot and quick by their little robot workers. The human workers, however, were all so nice to work with. It's commendable how well they all keep their cool and can still be so friendly in such a constantly chaotic environment. Brava yall! We stayed for a total of approx 3hrs with constant action going on around us. This place is amazing for the kids. They had a fabulous time. The person who worked at the front desk her name is joy has a nasty attitude. I came to her nice and ask a simple question. I disliked Area 254! What a rip off. First, their advertised prices are misleading, and for weekend pricing it is way overpriced. $40 for an hour of bowling is too much to ask in Killeen. Also, the bowling balls themselves are very old and worn down. The food ordering kiosk is fine, but everything here is overpriced. Also, the military discount is not good for weekend prices, so if you absolutely want to come do it before 5pm monday through thursday. avoid area 254 and find somewhere else! read more

The vibe was good.....it use to be a huge kids bounce house. But they changed into a mini Dave & Buster's. It's good for the city. The city needs more spots like this. Definitely more than enough to do in the building. It can get pricey extremely fast. Bowling is on the expensive side. I'd go again...just reconsider the prices. read more

This is a good family hang out spot. Took my mom along with the guy I'm dating and we had a good time. They have skating, bowling, karaoke, with arcade game. The food isn't gourmet but it gets the job done. Oh, they have a beer wall too. I'm not a beer drinker but they have hard ciders so I drank those. The food was delivered to our lane on robot things and you can order at a kiosk, the counter or scan the bar code at your lane. I will say it's either the bowling shoes or the lane floors that are pretty nasty and so you don't have that glide when bowling. I don't know if the air in the karaoke room was broken but it got kinda hot in there but we still had a great time. I'd definitely go again. read more

Killeen really did need a NICE entertainment place like this! Glad to see Area 254 supporting our local schools as well, allowing field trips. This place has it all: skating rink, bumper cars, bowling, arcade, laser tag, and great food. Service was friendly, owner took good care of our HUGE group. Kids had a blast. Staff was ok. They want you to use the kiosk to order food. But don't really explain everything. Before you order your food. Take a number you will need it. ,order your food. Get to your table the follow the directions and scan the QR code at the end of the table to enter your order number so the robot knows what table to deliver your food too. Well that's great if you get your recipe printed out and you remember your order number from the screen..and also would be nice if Someone told you to do that once you sit at the table..we figured that out after sitting there for 3 min and looking at the card on the table. Next bowling $39.99 an hour and shoes were $4. 1 round of laser tag was $11.99. Skating was also $11.99. Games added up too. So it gets expensive really fast. Games are 6-8 tokens. Honestly had high hopes from the one other experience I had here but sadly no. It's so loud you can't hear your own thoughts let alone what the team members are saying to you at the front station to get set up for bowling or anything else. Also how am I supposed to know that the kiosk at the front only do one game card at a time. I don't work here how am I supposed to know that information. This place is really pretty awesome but the prices are relatively high for the area (especially for birthday parties) and doesn't include many people. We came in to celebrate our child and took advantage of the weekday special. The employees were all concentrated at the counter and were standing around talking, so we had to go get them for each activity we wanted to do. They also tried to charge us a second time for skating even though we had armbands and already paid for that activity. The place was dead. There were only a few families in there and it was enjoyable to move around freely and do all the activities without a wait. Staff were super sweet. There was a lot to do and everything was nice and new. The big crane was out of order, but we got over that fast. The Skate floor is like peel and stick tiles so if you're there to really skate, the floor is not smooth at all, but we only spent about 15 minutes on it and kids didn't mind. We didn't try the food or bowling but will be back this summer to play some more. I came here to bowl and was not satisfied, service members don't talk to you and very distant.

Only negative thing I can say is some of the games need to be fixed, rather then that is it a pretty great place. My kids always have fun.

This establishment is wonderful, safe, clean, and the staff is always amazing, especially Ms. Joy. However, who is screening the videos being played? You have children playing while "Tease Me" by Cardi B and "Anaconda" by Nikki Minaj is on the television. The clean audio version is fine, but the sexually explicit, and not at all G or even PG video versions were playing on all the screens, why nikki was humping the floor and giving a lap dance, why?We are in Texas where they are banning books and trying to arrest librarians which is BS but in a predominantly Black establishment, who.decided this was ok for kids? I know for a fact that if this was in a predominantly white area, these sexually explicit videos would not be played. This is unacceptable. read more
