I wasn't the nicest about how I conveyed my discontent, and I own that. The owner, Tony, made it a point to say i'm just a picky guy which kind of pissed me off, but I honestly don't know one person that would be okay with paying for a sloppy paint job. well, fast forward to now, roughly 2 years later, and i see rust spots forming under the window trim and 2 chips in the paint under the TUNDRA badge where there's clearly another layer of white paint underneath. it seems to me that, instead of repainting, they buffed the problem areas and sprayed over the initial paint job. Well, the office manager, Cesar tells me to bring my truck on the weekend. i end up having to push to the following weekend. I drop my truck off, pay $80 to Uber home to the IE, and Tony calls me Monday afternoon to basically tell me he doesn't know why Cesar told me to bring the truck in and that i was a pain for coming back to him with my complaints back in '24, and that he wasn't going to do anything for me. he told me to come pick up the truck and hung up on me. keep in mind Cesar had over 2 weeks between when I first talked to him and when I brought my truck in to talk to Tony. anyways, I paid another $80 to uber there and pick up my truck and we're cordial to each other. he tells me how he buffed the rust stains off and added touch up paint to the chips so I don't get more rust. i'm over it so I grab my key and take off. they talk about how their work is guaranteed, but it wasn't for me, so be warned. the only place on that entire truck that has rust spots and chipped paint is where Whittier Collision 2 did work.

They handled my inquiry efficiently and even took my car in on a day Erik was originally supposed to have off. Erik replaced my driver-side mirror in less than 45 minutes, and the results were flawless. The repair exceeded my expectations, and my car looks amazing! It's hard to find businesses that genuinely care about their customers, but this shop definitely does. I'll definitely be bringing my car back for any future repairs. Thank you so much for the outstanding service!

I chose Pristine Collision Center in Montebello because of the great reviews on Google and Yelp,…read moreand because they were a local Tesla-authorized collision repair facility. Unfortunately, my experience with my 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance was nothing like what I expected. Everything seemed fine in the beginning. The estimate and insurance approval process went smoothly. The problems started when I picked up my vehicle. The front wheel covers/hubcaps were missing, and the shop couldn't locate them, so replacements had to be ordered. I also noticed lacquer/paint drips on the side of the vehicle, which they attempted to correct. The bumper near the wheel was not properly secured and appeared to have been glued back into place. On top of that, my vehicle was returned dusty and dirty, with tape or adhesive residue still on it. After having my regular car wash/detailer clean the vehicle, we discovered gray overspray on the car. I immediately brought it back to Pristine. Instead of taking responsibility or seriously investigating it, I was told that I may have driven through a puddle of paint. That explanation made absolutely no sense to me. The overspray was concentrated around areas associated with the repair. It wasn't all over the windshield or tires the way I would expect if I had driven through paint on the road. I ended up paying my detailer to remove the overspray myself. Once it was removed and the vehicle was properly cleaned, even more problems became visible. The paint finish was inconsistent, with noticeable imperfections, uneven areas, and differences in the finish/shade. For a nearly new 2026 Tesla Performance, the quality of the work was extremely disappointing. I returned to Pristine again and was told they couldn't take the vehicle at that time and that I should bring it back about a week later. At that point, after everything I had already gone through, I refused to take the vehicle back home and left it with them. I also contacted Tesla directly and explained the situation. After Tesla became involved, the attitude and response I received from the shop changed noticeably. I eventually received my vehicle back approximately three weeks later. From beginning to end, this entire ordeal lasted more than 2 1/2 months. I went to Pristine Collision Center because their reviews gave me confidence that my Tesla would be repaired correctly and professionally. Instead, I dealt with missing parts, paint and finish issues, overspray, multiple return visits, additional detailing costs out of my own pocket, and a repair process that dragged on for months. After this experience, I personally would not bring another vehicle here. I can only hope the paint and repairs hold up over time.

I had to call myself to find out when the insurance inspected the vehicle, when repairs were approved, and to get status updates throughout the repair process. Tony would often say he would call me back on a certain day or at a specific time, but those callbacks rarely happened when promised, forcing me to repeatedly follow up for updates. Tony initially told me it was "just a bumper," but the repair still ended up taking about three weeks. On top of that, when I was told the car would be ready, it still wasn't ready as promised. I understand delays can happen, but better communication and follow-through would have made a big difference.

Each week, Joaquin called me with an update regarding my vehicle and answered any questions I had. Repairs took longer than I expected so I had to extend my rental car through Hertz. However, Leo and Jorge, who is the owner, took really good care of me, considering money was tight since it was during the Christmas holiday. My car was finished on the day as promised and Joaquin brought my car to my home and even took the rental back for me. Talk about taking care of their customers. My Model 3 was returned looking like a brand new car! I will definitely recommend others, especially those with Teslas as it is a certified Tesla body shop. Thank you again, Joaquin, Leo and Jorge!
