I have gone twice now to Custom Paint N Body. The first time was an insurance repair for a deployed steering wheel airbag and front bumper damage. The insurance company wanted to total my perfectly good 2010 Volvo S80 because that is what insurance companies will always do just to save a few bucks. They don't care that I didn't want to spend money to buy another car. Rob the owner worked with the insurance company to actually get my car fixed and back on the road, instead of sending it to the salvage yard. The car still runs great and I have Rob and his staff to thank for it. The second time is for my dad's Nissan Sentra, which another business botched up pretty good. Rob and his crew are obsessive and perfectionistic -- exactly the qualities you want in someone who's doing custom bodywork on your car. I took my 2017 VW GTI Sport to Custom Paint N Body to have an Oettinger body kit (sold directly by VW dealers) mounted. The kit proved to be a pain to fit properly, but Rob was obsessive about getting it to look just right. Custom Paint N Body's warranty proved to be more than just words. The front splitter developed road rash almost immediately due to the substandard primer that the body kit came with, but Rob fixed it under warranty (which took a ton of work). As you can see from the photos, the fit and finish are flawless; my GTI looks like it rolled off the factory floor that way. read more
