It absolutely isn't their responsibility to fix this. But, the installation required them to remove this cowling and the rubber crumbled. In hindsight, I should have bought a new cowling trim and left it inside for the installer. Make sure to check any trim/panels near the windshield and order new ones beforehand.

All of the staff at Auto Glass Express - Chantilly were incredibly polite and professional. They honored their original quote and even surprised me with a military discount, bringing my final price down further. It's refreshing to see a service that recognizes and appreciates the military. I needed some hand holding, so we went in the parking lot and she pointed out the cars and what percentage tint each had--this was extremely helpful and made it really clear as to what to expect. They have pricing clearly displayed. They had quick availability for scheduling, but since it was close to the end of the day, they offered to put everyone on the job and get it done for me same day (took about 45 minutes but 3 of them were working together). They invite you back for any air bubbles that haven't resolved within a week--I had one and it dried out and went away within two days--part of the cutting process. Also, they put a sticker over your window buttons because you cannot roll them down for 3-5 days after the install--no drive throughs allowed, haha!
