The only glitch was my fault - Tyrone set up a time he was going to show up, then I missed his call and got caught up with work. He showed up and waited a while, then left. The point is, when we talked later, instead of telling me to take a hike, which would have been understandable, he rescheduled me for a few hours later in the day and was totally friendly about me wasting his time earlier. Were there a similar term for Auto Glass replacement, they'd just use Tyrone's picture! 2 years ago I had the windshield replaced, so this was the second go round, and I was super fortunate to go with Nu-Pro after the previous guy bailed. Tyrone came out the day I called, and was extremely professional and friendly. When it turned out that the windshield he brought needed to be exchanged (due to the photos I sent him, and the previous guy using a slightly incorrect model) he went and got the new glass and came right back and returned to work. You could tell from the speed and deftness that Tyrone has seen this all before, and still has the superior attention to detail which is the hallmark of a true expert. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment. Tyrone was very communicative regarding potential changes in the schedule given that my initial appointment was on a Sunday. I was able to get my windshield replaced earlier than anticipated and very quickly (less than 1 hour). I was hunting for windshield replacement quotes and a friend recommended Nu Pro. This place had the cheapest quote and the best reviews, so it only made sense to go with them. I called Nu Pro to schedule a windshield replacement and Tyrone immediately tried to find an open timeslot the same day. We ended up scheduling something for 8:30 AM on Saturday, but I appreciate him trying to help me ASAP. Tyrone let me know when he was en route, came to my house on time, and fixed everything in 45 minutes! He even was able to keep my Bonnaroo camping sticker and transfer it to my new windshield :') Additionally, he also charged me the quote and didn't try to upsell anything. Tyrone is a man of his word and I respect that, especially considering how shady other car people can be. Added Bonus: They come to where your car is so you don't have to drive your windowless car around. Service is quick. I had the pleasure of some lowlife smashing my window out because they either were bored or just dumb and I needed a replacement as soon as possible. I called at 8 in the morning and Tyrone took my information and gave me several different two hour windows in the same day that they repair could be done. I choose the 1 to 3 block and was happy the work could be scheduled for the same day. About 30 minutes before he arrived, Shawn gave me a call and let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived he took my car key and got straight to work, first he opened my door panel and cleaned all the glass that fell into the door frame. I did not stay around and watch the entire job but after it was over, my window looked good as new and is working perfectly. He also vacuumed all the glass that was in my seat, under my seat and in the back floor before the job was completed. After the job was done, Shawn called me at let me know he was finished, gave me back my key, I paid the bill and moved on with the rest of my day. Love this place and hope I never have to use them again as it would mean my window was smashed again but if that does happen, I know I can get speedy, reliable and excellent work from a professional place and people. I had called a number of windshield replacement companies trying to get a good quote last week. After calling Nu Pro several times and leaving 2 voicemails (I tried hard considering it had 5 star yelp reviews and it seemed like they gave good deals), they finally responded after I gave them an initially negative review. Tyrone apologized since he was short staffed that week, and made up for it by doing a nice job replacing my windshield and offering me a very good deal. He was very timely in arriving and finished up pretty quickly while I watched. I thought I was in for a long day of finding a place to fix the window, going there, waiting for hours, and finally getting the window fixed.
