This restaurant brought so much nostalgia from the minute we walked in. I felt like I was back in Russia for a moment. We sat outside in front of the live band that was playing some oldies in Russian and Ukrainian. We had dinner with a sing-along, lol The food was phenomenal. I loved the Adjara Khachapuri, I haven't had one in years, and it tasted just like I remembered. We also had the Hinkali, which were lovely. And of course, the shish kebabs, I didn't even take a picture of them because we just devoured them as soon as they brought them. I had such a great experience all around here. Overpriced place with ZERO service. Went there with a buddy of mine and we stayed drinking beer for 7+ hours. During this time the so-called server brought us a new beer maybe twice. The rest of the time one of us had to go to the bar and ask for a new beer. This is definitely not a service you expect when paying $13.50 for a beer. Also, a mandatory 20% tip is already included, which I can understand as they don't deserve any tips and I guess they are very well aware of this fact. The life music was ok but VERY loud, so we had to change the table twice in order to hear each other. So we ended up in the farther corner of the patio where occasionally we were able to smell dogs/raccoons poop from the bushes but at least were able to hear each other. We ordered the house salad, Adjaruli, and lamb kebabs. The salad was simple but tasty. The Adjaruli was creamy and delicious and the bread it was in was so yummy. As for the lamb kebabs... so tender and full of flavor. We did ask the waitress for her recommendations before ordering and she gave us a few suggestions. Average restaurant with very average Armenian/russian food. We got our order in about 25 minutes. Very hard to get attention from a server. It took awhile to be able to make an order, it was a while before we got the server's attention to bring us the bill. She was very nice but I think too busy. The hinkali isn't what real hinkali is, this one is more like manti in a shape of a hinkali. Hachipuri was pretty good, super cheesy. We also had an appetizer Phali which was full of flavors and a drink/ juice which tasted like childhood :) the restaurant is full of people so I will give it a try again and the music is great! ARGO Restaurant has been blasting their loud music during the late night hours and many Hallandale residents are very upset, including myself. I am all for fun at restaurants, but when the loud singing prevents me from sleeping, then that is a problem.
