This is Georgian cuisine, one of the best and most distinctive in the world! Argo is fairly authentic, and this is tall order. Service was good, in our case, no complaints whatsoever. We liked kharcho soup, satsivi, khachapuri, and lamb kebob, Georgian salad was also very good. Few other dishes, like Lula kebob were not as good, slightly too bland. Don't waste your time and money! Our server Polina had no clue what she is doing, probably new comer, no experience whatsoever! We ordered $60 bottle of wine, not a cheap choice, she brought the bottle under her arm, did not show the label or ask us, if that's what we ordered, just opened the bottle and starting pouring in the glass without offering to taste it! (This is a normal procedure of serving wine) Then, served appetizers, 10 minutes later, without checking with us, if we are ready for the main course, brought entrees without cleaning the table after first course, so there was no room on the table for hot food and we had to move plates around by ourselves. She didn't change silverware or plates when served second course. Food was Ok, nothing special. When I asked her about desert, she said go to showcase and pick what you want! Really?! When I got the bill, 20% gratuities were included in the check. For this kind of service I would not leave her even $10, I asked her to speak to the manager and explain her, this girl doesn't deserve $50 tip and I asked her to remove gratuities from the check. She said we don't do that and I reminded her that tipping is not mandatory in United States. Probably she spoke to the restaurant owner, then brought bill without gratuity on it. I'm 25% tipper, never been cheap when it comes to tipping, and I left $50 tip, but the problem is, they didn't get my point. Never again, not worth it!! read more

The way I found this place was that I casually drove by ARGO one evening and was attracted by the beautiful lighting with lovely decorative torches. The place is simply very attention getting and just "looked special". That's kind of hard to achieve given that it's next to a Walmart parking lot but somehow..... it just jumped out at me. It's a little gem hidden away. I told myself I would like to come sometime with my family to try it out. Honestly, I didn't know anything about Georgian food but it was such a warm and inviting looking place I thought I'd give it a try. So tonight, I went with my wife and daughter and we were blown away by what an amazing experience we had. I promised myself I'd get home and leave a review as I really want other people to experience it (my wife and I are getting together with some good friends tomorrow and we will definitely be making plans to come together with them in the near future.) The food was spectacular and the service was outstanding. On a personal note, I had no clue how delicious Georgian cuisine was but with some help from our server and a very nice gentleman named Roman, we managed to order a good selection of multiple dishes including Dumplings, Lamb, Cheese bread, Honey Cake (WOW) and several other delicious pastries. ARGO has a full liquor bar and a great wine selection, and tonight they had live music entertainment. Highly recommended - you will LOVE this place. BTW, reservations are recommended if you want to be close to the live musicians but we were able to be seated as walk ins tonight. The inside singers were so loud we were unable to enjoy talking to those at our table. Waitress could also not hear us as we ordered. Had to lean right in your face. I had such high hopes for this place. Music, Georgian food, and it's outside. Sounds like a perfect combination. But the service is super sub par. The food is bland. The live music is good but half the time they leave and play recorded music. The bar is just for show, because there are no cocktails just shots. Sitting outside is fun but humid. Roma supposedly, the owner, is rude and obnoxious and has no business being in the restaurant service industry, he has no clue on how to treat a customer. Hostess walks away when a complaint is being made. That's not all, she also has no proper etiquette when passing by a person who is standing in a way, she just pushes them and says "I need to pass." Barely any COVID precautions, most of the staff not wearing masks. Other than being in a good location, there is nothing positive to say about this restaurant. We ordered lamb skewers and didn't like it , because the meat was very tough to chew. We asked to provide a steak knifes and they could find only 1 in the kitchen .
