Awful service! Nowhere was it mentioned that there would be a processing fee and service charge. We ordered two glasses of wine and a side of fries, and the total came to $47.81. I didn't notice the breakdown at the time (my mistake) and even left an additional tip, so I ended up paying $55 for cheap wine and reheated fries. The "live music" was more like karaoke-level entertainment and didn't match the advertising. Save your time and money.

We had a large party for a birthday, great service, great food. Our food was a family style and ot was pre-ordered by the host of the party but everything we tried was great!

There is no food like Ararat Grill Bar, we have been in many restaurants in Miami nothing come close, absolutely delicious with incredible service and ambience! Highly recommended

What a beautiful hidden gem! They have a great selection of my favorite Georgian and Armenian wines. Even pomegranate wine! The Armenian food is very tasty. From the soup to the dumplings, I can say they all had a nice flavor. The lamb dumplings were huge and meaty. Service was friendly and efficient.

I'm sure you have heard of the expression dinner and a movie right? Well, how about dinner and a language lesson? Deciding to give myself an early birthday treat after a long couple of weeks, I decided to try Ararat for dinner. While they have a few outside tables, their highlight is the formal inside dining room (get reservations!) as well as the bar where I sat. The dining room has a dimly lit, classy romantic vibe. At least Friday nights, there's also a live cover band serenading the crowd with a mix of Russian, Armenian and 80s/90s US ballads. The bar seats were plush and comfortable too. Coming from casual Friday at the office, I was a little more casual. My next visit I will definitely go a little better dressed. Speaking of the bar, my server was my teacher, as she gave me the opportunity to order in Russian. All the dishes I tried were "mnogo vkuzno" Very delicious! I started with the Khinkali Dumplings, delicious pockets of pasta filled with a nicely spicy minced beef & pork with a yummy kick from the coriander and fresh black pepper. My main was a tasty and well presented Chicken Tapaka - similar to rotisserie chicken - in a cast iron pan & garnished with red onions and pomegranate and a dipping dish of a red sauce. The side of jasmine rice had good texture to accompany my meat dish. A fluffy Napoleon with creamy filling, powdered sugar and a fresh berry made for a sweet closing of my dinner.

Phenomenal cuisine!!! Kharcho soup and Shish Kabab were delicious. Almost didn't find this place in the back corner of the plaza. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere. Try the Kilikia Arminian beer.

Wow what an amazing hidden gem. This place is fun full of energy and has great food. The restaurant is very refined and great for a business dinner. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Music is great and sometimes they have live music. Every time I come here I'm happy and surprised how great the food is.

As an Armenian living far from home, Ararat satisfies all my cravings with the added bonus of ~nostalgia~. There's live music in Armenian, Greek, Russian, and English-so it's a party, if you want it to be one. We chose to sit outside to have a quieter night. Starting off strong with the adjarakan khachspuri, the dough was pull apart, fluffy, amazingness, the cheese pull worthy of a TikTok trend, and the runny egg yolks were perfect for dipping 10/10! The feta and olive salad was reminiscent of summers in Armenia - refreshing and delicious with various vegetables. My favorite appetizer was the fresh herbs and feta - the trick here is the put a bit of each herb, a slice of feta, cucumbers and peppers from the salad into a lavash slice and wrap it up. Take a bit out of the wrap then eat a slice of tomato. That combination to me is like when Remy from ratatouille eats a piece of strawberry with a slice of cheese and has fireworks go off because of the immaculate flavor combo. For the entree we had a beef (and pork) kabob. When I tell you that was the juiciest kabob I've ever had...you just gotta try it to believe me!! And the side of fries with dill and garlic, yummm!! Not pictured is the creamy and fluffy Napoleon we inhaled before the camera got to eat...oops! It wasn't too sweet, it was perfect. Service, atmosphere, and food were all top tier, I highly recommend this restaurant!

I hate this place. Food comes out very bland. Beer salad was ok! The Cornish Hen lacked any seasoning at $24, I expect flavor...Boo. The dill garlic fries were good. They can't make anything without onions, onions are included in everything. If like limitations for food, this is your spot. I'd only return if it were last place to dine or die!!!!! BTW, I gave it two stars because the server was cool.

Dumplings and family platter, absolutely delicious.

We've been hitting up Mediterranean restaurants like nobody's business on this leg of our spring…read morebreak, in part because of our proximity to many, and in part because my progeny and I are currently obsessed with babaganoush in its many variations. For this particular dinner, we were also focused on finding a truly vegetarian friendly restaurant where we could take our dear friends. Kabobji was a wonderful choice for vegetarians, omnivores, and carnivores alike. It's a large restaurant with plenty of booths and large tables for gathering with friends and family. Someone I suspect to be an owner was working hard alongside his wait staff and displayed a sense of genuine hospitality. Above all, the restaurant has a rock solid kitchen. The falafel ($13.99 / 5 pieces) here were ****STELLAR****!!! They're shaped like Indian medu vada (fried with a hole in the middle), probably for the same reason: to allow as much of the surface to fry to that perfect golden crisp as possible. And Kabobji's falafel were, in fact, awesomely crisp and well textured, made from soaked chickpeas in the traditional style, perfectly sized, nuanced and subtle in flavor -- some of the best we can remember having. (For reference, we love Nish Nush and Tanoreen for falafel in NYC -- and I think our neighborhood must be one of the major international epicenters for falafel.) Also excellent: the baba ghannouj ($10.99 for the small size), just a bit chunky, enriched with a lot of tahini, a moderate amount of garlic, a touch of lemon. This is how we like to make it at home. The vegetable ghallaba platter ($20.99) was simply made with thinly sliced onions and bell peppers, a small amount of zucchini, I think, and a touch of tomato. I would've loved to have had a spritz of lemon or sprinkle of sumac for a more acidic component, perhaps a little less onion. Note that this dish works better as a main course when accompanied by something protein-y like hummus, but it was pleasant to eat alongside our other orders. A convive, who went with the mixed shawarma platter ($27.99), found it to be a generous portion size and enjoyed it, especially with a side of well composed fattoush salad (+$5.99 to upgrade). Beef shish kebab ($14.99) and lamb shawarma ($15.99) wraps were both excellent and moist, a good balance of protein and vegetable. I didn't try them, but the "cheese pies" ($12.99) turned out to be pitas covered with a large amount of melty white cheese that some young children might enjoy as pizza. (Mine probably would've found them to be "too cheesy," but they're mutants.) They came three to an order. When you dine in, they bring a big basket of warm pita / pida to the table -- quite a generous touch!! I think it's house made and of course went beautifully with our food. Bottom line: GREAT FALAFEL! Great, low-key, family-friendly vibe. Good for vegetarians and non-vegs. Go.

Because we had a large group, we ordered two veggie mezzas for the table. They come with grape leaves, baba ghannouj, and hummus, which makes them perfect for sharing. And the unlimited pita bread is always a win. The salad, so refreshing. The Lebanese cheese rolls are also amazing. Some of us switched it up and tried the spicy fish, sautéed shrimp, and the mixed shawarma platter. No regrets. The fish was so flavorful and the perfect size. LollllpThe rest of us stuck to the kabobs and lamb, which are consistently a safe bet. The space is great too. The huge windows give you beautiful lighting, and they have seating for large parties that still feels more private. We'll definitely be back.

The falafel was terrible, the chicken kebob plate was awful, and the overall food quality was completely unacceptable for somewhere calling itself Mediterranean cuisine. The dish claimed to come with peppers there was literally one tiny piece in the entire kebab. The chicken had no flavor and tasted poorly, and the rice was completely off, more like Mexican rice than anything remotely Mediterranean. What's even more frustrating is the way the staff handled it. When we raised concerns, they didn't take any responsibility and brushed it off as if the issue was on us. No attempt to fix the problem, no acknowledgment just dismissive and unprofessional. And somehow, they charge a mandatory 20% service fee for this. For what? There was zero service, zero care, and zero effort to make things right. Charging customers extra while delivering this level of food and attitude is unacceptable. Do not waste your time or money here. There are far better options out there. Honestly, I'd take store-bought hummus from Publix over this. If you actually want good Mediterranean food and proper service, go to Ethos instead it's night and day. This place is not worth it.
