Arhaus has truly some amazingly designed furniture, it is a shame their service /quality is not on the same level as to products they sell. After waiting approximately 5 weeks past the promised the date for my dining room table and six chairs, I was pleased by the delivery and efficiency of the delivery team. Unfortunately, after a month of having the products in my home it was noted that a number of the backings on the chair were slightly loose to the touch, concerning... but more annoying given the related cost for these chairs. Given I travel extensively, and the fact that these chairs get very little action, I did not pay proper attention to contacting Arhaus immediately (which as it turns out, does not really help). During a recent dinner party, one of my guest moved backward in his chair to get up, and the entire back fell off. Words don't express how shocking this was given the innocuous movement by my guest that led to the chair disintegrating. Now the story begins...after multiple visits to the Edina store, and the Edina store's Associates repeated unwillingness to facilitate repair, but rather to turn me over to two email boxes (concierge@arhaus.com and clientservices@arhaus.com ) where I was supposed to find resources to have my chairs repaired. Now having left 4 distinct messages, and receiving 4 automated replies promising "response in one business day," ... I find one week + and counting... still no human being contacting me at my email and / or phone number listed in my emails to these conceirge and customer service email addresses. Given the premium pricing and supposed high quality of Arhaus products I find this lack of interest by the Store Associates appalling, and the automated / unattended email process for service to be simply unacceptable. Read the reviews, ...people like the Arhaus products, its a shame that Arhaus can't live up to their premium prices with premium service. It's even sadder state of affairs that I have to resort to public shaming of this group in hopes of getting a real live human being to address their poorly constructed product. Had I done so, I would have never purchased 2 Madrone couches from Arhaus. It says a lot when so many Yelpers took the time to patiently and respectfully share their experiences in such lengthy and vividly painful descriptions. Unfortunately I can relate to your pain. Each madrone couch retailed close to $6,000 and I got them on sale for close to $4,000 each Because of their solid brand promise to manufacture their own quality furniture, I took the plunge and made the huge $7,000-$8,000 investment. It was going to be worth it because in my uninformed mind, these were high end pieces. I've had the couches less than 1 year and they went from elegant gorgeous high-end buttery soft, clean lined and flawless statement pieces to saggy wrinkly bean bag looking messy sofas. Both couches have significant sagging on seats making the leather pucker and wrinkle like a messy bed. I've been trying to get a resolution for months. I tried their store in Edina and they referred me to their customer service department. I literally called customer service for a week straight. Sat in phone cues for 30+ minutes at a time. I left message day after day and never got a response. I emailed and emailed and emailed. One day, I finally got through and talked to someone. They sent me an email form I had to complete with pictures. I sent it back. I waited and waited and waited. I emailed again and again. I called and sat on hold for close to an hour. I finally got through. The customer service rep looked up my emails, found my pictures and agreed the sagging leather sofas were truly showing the indentations from people sitting in them. BUT it wasn't the frame causing it. It was the padding in a couch with cushions that can't be flipped or fluffed. No they weren't going to do anything. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After a lengthy conversation, the supervisor agreed to look into my case further. A few days later, she did email back and said she was still looking into it. Finally a decent customer experience on subpar products. I thanked her profusely for the help and attached screen shots of the many pledges across their site to quality craftsmanship for furniture that is meant to last. Still waiting for a response back. We were in Kansas City in July 2024, and purchased a floor model chair. First of all, they couldn't process the sale, so they had to call us the next day to get our credit card info. When they sent us the receipt, it also included a $5000+ couch that we were considering, BUT that we did not want to purchase. Then it took a week or more for them to credit our account, so we had to dive deep into our savings in order to cover the credit card bill, which was due within that time. To add to the screw-up, it was going to be $700 to deliver to Lincoln, NE where we live. So, we said we would get a trailer and drive 4 hours to KC to pick it up. At no time did anyone say that they would be closed for inventory on a Wednesday, which was when we could get it. After beating on the glass doors, we explained to someone who finally came to the door, our situation. After a call to their corporate office, they finally conceded that it was paid for and rolled the chair and ottoman onto the sidewalk. What a cluster!!! This place in dangerous. Rarely have I made it out without buying something. All of their furniture is customizable with the exception of the one-off, reclaimed pieces. Those are custom already. We have purchased multiple big couches from here for a couple reasons. 1. Customer service has always been incredible. My wife and I stroll in after eating at Pittsburgh Blue with hoodies and t-shirts on. Not the typical clientele. Nobody bats an eye. The sales associates never act pretentious or judgy like other places. They are friendly, not pushy. Helpful, not overbearing. 2. Almost all of the pieces are made in North Carolina by a family owned business, paying Americans a standard wage. Support local. Support family. That's an easy one. 3. The store itself is setup amazing and actually feels like a home. I want my home to feel like the store. Now we did have an issue with one of our couch cushions a while back. The staff worked diligently to fix the problem. In the end, they replaced the cushion completely. Hands down the best in the biz. read more

It's a beautiful store and sells really beautiful furniture. But if you ask for help after the purchase you're not going to get any. I've never been so dissatisfied with a company in my life. All I asked them to do was correct the problem that they created. Several phone calls several no replies back to me months of trying to politely get resolution and nothing. I bought many $$ thousands last fall '20, and winter '21, 3 complete rooms. Had a very positive experience with Kat, one of 2 of my sales persons. 2 issues, the delivery company put the bench together with stripped screws and didn't know you plum the screws. Screws put in at an angle instead of plum, the bench hasn't been usable since I got it in Feb since sitting on it would damage it. New screws were ordered, with sales person for dining room set. No screws have arrived Feb to April. Manager and sales person contacted concierge. Still no screws. Called Arhaus, talked to Anna, store manager, she said neither she nor my sales person handle this, "the concierge" does. But she and the sales person were the ones who were handling it and contacting concierge all along. She said I should have been contacting concierge these months. Did she forget everything? She kept saying good and yup when I explained this to her, like I was a confused Kindergartner. So much for being a patient, polite customer all this time. I said give me the concierge's email. A second issue, an audit. Arhaus erroneously charged me 2 of their expensive delivery charges. I found that out when an audit was done. Anna said, she would see "if" one of them could be removed. I ordered so much furniture they couldn't deliver it all at once, due to different completion times. 2nd delivery charge was removed. Since I experienced so many errors with this company I wanted a follow up audit. I emailed Anna twice for this. No response. Finally called her. She said she emailed me about the follow up audit. I said I never got the email, she said she would send email(s) again, so I could see. Haven't received the phantom email(s) or the follow up audit. If you buy a lot at this store, go over the charges carefully. Check the work of the delivery drivers carefully before they leave. I would give zero stars if I could. Please save yourself the hassle and buy furniture from a small, local company. We are going on over 2 months without the living room set we purchased due to shipping delays and a bungled delivery to the wrong address. Arhaus, like many larger furniture companies, ships through a third party system and the communication between the two companies is poor. Both parties blame each other for delays and say they can't do anything to remedy the situation. If I could do it all over again, I would never have bought from them. read more

Beautiful furniture, great quality so far.... However, after our purchase, customer service is one of the worst I have experienced. For being such up scale store, the follow up has been nothing but painful. You would think that after spending tens of thousand of dollars in furniture you could get your calls answered. 9 of 10 times you get a voicemail that is probably never checked because you never hear back. On the one phone call they do answer, they overpromise and under deliver. I love my furniture but can't help to have an aftertaste that makes me want to return everything at once, but guess what? Even if I tried to, there is nobody on the other side! I sure hope my furniture holds up to the price because the customer service follow up is better at the dollar store. Extremely disappointed. Ordered my couch before covid hit. Kat was super helpful by chat, phone, and email. It was a great experience that really was a hybrid of the simple online ordering with the personal touch of a showroom and personal, knowledgeable design assistant. Kat kept me updated on the delivery restrictions due to covid and as soon as the delivery ban was lifted, she had the delivery process started. The delivery had the same tech and communication convenience with s professional and throughout delivery team out of New Jersey. I think some people aren't used to an online store with a high end showroom model, so they may not be prepared for the timeless, and all the moving parts. I found it an easy and satisfying experience The coburb 6 piece couch is insane!! Huge, solid, durable and comfortable! It is like having a california king mattress in my living room. I have never been so impressed with furniture. I waited for a good sale, and they still said that I could cancel and reorder if price were to drop further. I will never purchase another item from Arhaus. Their products are beautiful, and the service - up to the signature was phenomenal, then it all falls apart. I purchased my furniture in December, with an estimated delivery of end of January. They were stock purchases, one custom (that had an expected delivery date of end of March mid-April, still not received) my construction project was taking a bit longer than expected. I called to reschedule my delivery to mid-Feb, and received a response something like "you are expecting your furniture to be delivered to your home mid-Feb? (Seemed strange that they were asking) the response was it won't be ready for delivery - someone will reach out in 5-days. About a week later, I did receive an email saying that someone would contact me within 5-days. When they finally did reach out to schedule delivery (1st part of March) I said that I was not available between 11:00-12:30, then I got my email stating the delivery is scheduled between 11:00-1:00 - really? I called the delivery service and store to no avail. Thankfully, I got my 30-min notice call at noon and they arrived at 12:30. All was good One of my pieces is a bit damaged (looks like it rubbed against the truck and the white cushion has grease marks). I emailed the store, called the stored at least once for 3 weeks straight, with no luck. Finally, I asked my designer to see if she can make headway - she did. I got a response that my requests went to their "general email" (not sure what that means). They sent my information to their 'concierge" who had their repair people arrange a time. The repair people set up a day/date, but could not commit to anytime, or time frame - I told them that I am unavailable between noon-2:30 on the scheduled day - they said they would note that but could not guarantee. I got my notice of the time window - between noon-3:00 - really? I contacted both the store and repair company to let them know that I won't be available and their next scheduled time is in 3-weeks - again, they can't commit to a time, or a time window. Both said that they are 2 separate companies, to me the customer, I purchased my product at Arhaus-I don't care who they contract with, to me they are the same company. So, if you're looking for beautiful furniture, this is the place to go. If you're also looking for good service - this is absolutely NOT the place to shop. read more

Poor quality, poor service, overpriced. Purchased Paxton sofa that arrived in August 2021. Shopped diligently wanting a very high quality piece. After 2 months noticed cushions were not holding up. Contacted Concierge service who eventually after unanswered emails agreed to provide new inner cushions. Now after several unanswered emails are told the request didn't go in until this January! In other words they blew us off. Now we are told they won't be here until end on June. Very disappointed. Never will shop there again. read more

I stopped in today looking for a couple of side chairs or equivalent pieces for my living room. I was immediately greeted by Carrie, who was a bubbly, very happy, kind individual. She asked what I was looking for, got an idea of the space it was going into, and then showed me around the showroom floor; looking at what she though would best fit. Every piece we stopped by she showed me the fabric/leather options, explained the piece (history/fun facts), and then asked for my opinion. We narrowed it down to three chairs that I absolutely love! She wrote down each piece, the price, and guarantee date for the end of the month (so I am guaranteed the price). Carrie didn't make me feel pressured to buy, she was extremely knowledgeable, and was overall an approachable person. I left feeling good about Arhaus and will definitely be returning for a future purchase (whether it be side chairs or something completely different). read more

I had never heard of Arhaus until we got a 10% first time customer coupon in the mail. That brought me to Abby - my design consultant at Edina. She was awesome! She helped me put together a stunning combination of dining and counter stools for my newly remodeled kitchen. And she found a way to work within our budget. The set looks spectacular. The copper table is really like a piece of art in the kitchen. The entire thing is spectacular with the new kitchen. I've already bought another item on-line for our home in Florida. Thanks Arhaus. I would give a one star if I could. Bought an expensive piece of furniture in September and still haven't received it. I was given a date of delivery. I went in the day before to let them know that I haven't received any information about the shipping. They checked and said, "oh we did not place the order to be shipped and you will get the product by thanksgiving" . No one wanted to assume any responsibility and the employees stood their giggling at each other. I was interested in buying more furniture their for my new condo but walked out. The "in-person" service is great. I love the furniture that I have bought from them thus far. With that said.... I do have some serious issues with Arhaus that has led to no longer being loyal nor excited about their furniture. First of all..... I bought the Bodhi bedroom night stands. I had an issue with both of them. On one night stand, the drawer was not properly installed. I can't believe the person who delivered and installed it, left it in such a condition. On the other, the finish came off immediately. I called their furniture repair people (third party) they did absolutely nothing to fix it or to follow up with me. I was very disappointed. Next, I had a question about a payment posting. Their telephone customer service (third party) in the Philippines was terrible. I had to have their phone rep spell out the word because I simply couldn't understand. In the end, he couldn't answer my question either. Their online payment system is seriously outdated with delayed responses. Then! I wanted to use my "Worry Free Protection Plan" (that I purchased! Don't do it... its a scam!) to have an area of my sofa cleaned. I had to call the third party and the third party said I had to take pictures and email it to them. I did. Never heard back. Finally, the action that is moving me to write this review and that broke my loyalty and excitement for this company.... The Petra Round Table 54'' . I purchased it online for $1100. A dream come true! I purchased it, then on my email receipt, it showed that I was charged $4406. I immediately called Arhaus/Edina, the sales person said that they couldn't help me and that I would have to email the company. She didn't have an email nor a phone number. Told me to look it up. So I did. During the telephone conversation, Heidi Hoover/sales consultant mentioned that the table was not listed correctly on-line and that the price was for the base only. I would have to purchase it at the standard price but they'll give me a 20% discount. While it wasn't even close to the originally price that was sold to me, I took it. Let's not forget... I've already purchased the darn thing.... Then the sales consultant told me the table I purchased was no longer available. Obviously I was upset but after calming down, because Heidi Hoover was so great, I ended up getting a larger table at a higher price. I asked her to ask the online manager Christine Guarino to waive the shipping and handling fee, as a courtesy for a double company mistake. She didn't waive it. I even asked for a phone call. She didn't call me, just gave me a short and cold email with a link to their terms and policy. I've been a very loyal Arhaus customer up to this point. I believed in their mission. Frankly I don't care how environmentally friendly they are anymore. If they can't deliver on their word or make things right, their products carry no extra value for me. I've never had such a horrible purchasing screw up in my entire life and I've never been delt with so coldly. I love my furniture that I have purchased from Arhaus. However, based on my experiences, if anything goes wrong.... don't expect much from this company. The post-sales transaction behavior and actions from the company, means as much to me as as their... "on the spot customer service." This last experience was the "straw that broke the camel's back" for me. While Arhaus positions its store as upscale retail, the customer support proves to be more like a cheap internet provider that sends customers through loopholes on the automated phone system. Macy's and Slumberland offer better customer support than this. And their pricing is way cheaper! Next time, maybe I should just go through them...especially if my 2 nightstands are an example of Arhaus quality. I certainly would have paid much less. read more

Listen to the negative reviews on this company and this store. All true. The delivery times really are outrageous, and the customer service is worse. The manager I spoke with, Anna, was condescending and continually interrupted me during our conversation with canned responses and contradictory statements. Please at least read the reviews on the company all over the Internet before you purchase. The sales people are nice so you feel like you are dealing with a good company and the negative reviews must be exceptions. Once you've bought your furniture piece, the company does not care about the complaints or the fact you've spent a fair amount of money with them. Buyer beware. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This was the single worst customer service experience of my life. I'm not kidding. I could have had a far superior experience shopping at Slumberland. We decided to go out of our comfort zone and purchase new furniture for our dining room and living room and then some. We were SO excited until the items arrived damaged, poorly constructed, the wrong items, used items, not as many items as we had ordered AND we even got someone's else's random lamp parts. It was a disaster to try to return anything. They gave me the run around for MONTHS. I ordered in April, instantly started paying for things I had yet to see and the day I received my items in July called to report damage, etc. It took 3-4 different reps at the national level, countless emails with store employees, managers and the regional manager for the returns to go through, again months later. In the end I had to drive the furniture to the store myself only to find that most of the staff who I worked with over 6 months prior were all gone or leaving. THIS COMPANY IS A RACKET. I personally returned the furniture the day the interest on the Arhaus charge card was going to be applied after the company not being responsive to picking it back up after my "approvals for returns" went through. Then they STILL wanted to charge me almost $2000 in interest. I had to exchange my couch that instantly started to sag, the buttons caught on our clothes every time we sat on it and the listed heights with the matching ottoman were not to spec. Finally the things I did keep are not wearing well. The dining table is showing tons of wear after we have been SO careful with tablecloths, placemats, etc. NOT ONE PIECE OF FURNITURE HAS WITHSTOOD A YEAR OF USE. PS you cannot get in touch with the store directly. You get placed on hold for at least over 45 minutes to reach someone in the home office who can't and won't do anything for you anyway. Angela Mazzola was amazing to work with! I had lots of questions, plus I needed advice on pairing a coffee table with an end table. She was crazy busy (on the final day of a store-wide sale), but took all the time necessary and then some, to help me finalize my decision. I was even able to call her personally that evening to confirm, after I took final measurements at home. Delivery was terrific and when I went back in to see her (on a even bigger sale day) several weeks later, she recognized me with a friendly hello and appropriately delegated a few pending duties to further help me. Ordered an item 17 days ago. It was supposed to arrive two days ago to pick up in the store. When we didn't hear from them, I called to see if it was in. They told me there was a problem with their inventory/shipping system and it didn't come in and it would be another two weeks. I asked why hadn't I received a call to let me know. They didn't have an answer. I requested that since there had been a delay that they ship the item directly to my house free of shipping charges. The lady told me she cannot authorize free shipping, but Robert could call me between the hours of 10-12 today to see about shipping. The call from Robert never came in. When my husband called Robert he informed my husband he was in meetings and didn't have time to call a customer back. Robert also said he didn't know where the item is/was or when it would arrive. Really!!! Most companies ship free these days over a certain price point or can give you tracking information. This place has big problems - especially since nothing is kept in stock at the location, it is all simply on dispaly. We love this store, and had planned to make future purchass, but will not be visitng again. read more

I have purchased multiple times from Arhaus of Edina. I love this style of furniture and would love to purchase from them again but unfortunately WILL NOT due to their lack of customer service. I am still waiting for a correction to be made from a purchase made 2 years ago! Our large leather sectional arrived 6 weeks late (4 weeks after our daughter's wedding - got over that). The real problem was and still is that the leather finish has an extremely shiny finish, like it has been waxed. Throw pillows will not stay put, they slide down as does anyone who is seated! The leather sample that I ordered from had a smooth, soft finish, same as the in-store sofa. Customer service is offered on line only, and they request sending in photos - of which I told them photos will show absolutely no problem. I followed their rules, sent in photos and got no where. Without someone to physically see the issue the sectional looks fine. They advised me that in time the sectional will break in - well that hasn't happened. I even offered to give them my brand new sectional in exchange for their used in-store sofa with no luck. Beware! Salesperson was diligent with notification but the company has serious issues with delivery promises/delays!!! We were VERY disappointed to not receive our order on time. Arhaus in the Galleria has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was treated very rudely by three different sales associates. But that was not the end of it. I bought two tiers of a three tiered stacked bookshelf which was a floor model. I bought the bottom two tiers as the top tier was very scratched up. When I called to say I was coming to pick up the bookshelves I was told I needed to bring my tools to disconnect the top portion that belonged to the store from the middle and lower bookshelves that I purchased. They further told me that they would not move the book shelves from the middle of the store by the large plate glass window to the back of the store where all the other furniture to be picked up was placed. I told them there was no way that I would disassemble or move the store's book shelves, and further, I would not risk damaging the plate glass window or other furniture in order to get the book shelves placed by the back door. I asked for a manageer and a woman who identified herself as the associate or assistant manager got on the phone. SHe said sales associates were not allowed to move furniture, and they had noone to disassemble or move the bookshelves to the back of the store. After much discussion, she said there was a tuck coming in the next day, and she would ask the delivery guys to see if they would disassemble the tiers of the bookshelf and place them by the pick up door. I called every day for the next three days when I was en route to pick up the bookshelves only to be told that the store had not removed the books from the book shelves so I could not pick them up. By the 4th time that I was told the books had not been removed from the bookshelves I told them I could not come back for a week as I was having surgery and would be in the hospital. About a week later I came for the book shelves. They had been emptied, separated from each other and placed by the back door, only, now the book shel had what looked like paint splattered on the front of it. When I told the sales associate that there was no paint on it when I bought it, she said "well, you shouldn't have left it here." She said the mall had repaired the fire alarm that was above the wall where the bookshelves were placed, so I would have to take up my complaint with them. She said Arhaus was not responsible. She reminded me that they were absolutely no refunds on purchased floor merchandise. THEN I began loading the two bookshelf tiers. When I took off the upper tier I saw that Arhaus had put the very scratched up top tier that I had not specifically told them I did not want, iunder the middle tier. This appeared to be a deliberate act to hide the damaged upper tier that I had not purchased or wanted...Even though the sales person washed off the paint splatters with a very wet paper towel (not the best for wood), the scratches werre across the top surface of the almost the entire bookcase. I talked with the associate manager who apologized and said she would write up my concerns, give them to the manager and have him call me to discuss the damaged surface and how rudely I was treated. She called me two days later to let me know she had done as she promised, however, two weeks have passed and I have not heard a word from the manager. Poor treatment, misrepresentation, extremely bad customer service seem to be the culture of Arhaus. My biggest regret is that I did not read the reviews before going to this store, because I sure as heck would not have set foot in Arhaus nor given them a penny had I read the reviews detailing their extremely poor customer service. Arhaus does not deserve a one star rating. I wish there was some way to give a zero or negative star rating because the experience was that bad! read more

Horrible experience. Ordered a sectional, coffee table , two bookcases, two leather chairs, dining room table and dining room banquette seating totaling over $20,000. We were told delivery would take 10-12 weeks. We received a partial order at 16 weeks. Of the furniture that was delivered 3 items were damaged. The delivery company gauged our wall and left black marks on our ceiling when installing the (broken) Athens Bookcases. Immediately let our sales person Robin M (who is no longer employed with Arhaus) of the damaged bookcases and leather recliner. I was referred to customer service. Customer service informed us the bookcases were on back order and it would be 3 months until they were available. They sent a tech out to look at the damaged recliner and it was determined it would be replaced. Four weeks later they deliver a replacement recliner that is more damaged than the one originally delivered. We refuse delivery and they schedule delivery of another recliner. They deliver the exact same damaged recliner a second time. It's at this point I go to see Robert the store manager - we embark on a 3 month "run a round" upon which I had to get the attorney general and the credit card company involved in order to get the bookcases and recliner returned. It has been 8 months since our sectional was delivered and the seams on two of the cushions are ripped. The feathers are coming out of the cushions. We bought the $300 worry free protection plan that doesn't cover ripped fabric of any kind. Useless. read more
