Paris Morning Bakery is an Asian bakery serving Asian inspired pastries and desserts. They are definitely not the cheapest that I've seen, but they have some good items. They have a Korean dessert that I like called Bing Soo. It's made with shaved ice and comes with a bunch of toppings. Cute little Korean bakery with a lovely name. It's a very laid back and quiet place to do some studying or just have some breakfast. I had what appeared to be a blueberry eclair as well as Korean sausage bread which both tasted great. One of my favorite local study spots. They're open pretty late for a bakery and they have plenty of seating, tables and outlets. I always get a bubble tea here and have always found them to be pretty good. The baked good are displayed on a table and come already packaged which is a little odd and makes me question the freshness, however for the most part they're usually tasty. So here you have me....one of the many escapees from California. Many of us were used to going to 85 Degree Bakery in CA. Paris Morning is the same concept - Korean pastries with French influence. But PM is much smaller than 85 Deg. I went for the first time yesterday and thought I would get a couple of my "usual" items that I had gotten from the CA bakery and I can't help but compare: #1 - Cream puff: This has way too much custard inside. It gushed out and overtook the great bread. Would be better with less filling and more cream than custard. #2 - Mocha cream bun: They sliced this bun to insert the cream. Instead, they should inject the cream without opening up the bun. But overall, the flavor was great. Individual slice of sweet potato cake: Amazing. Ingredients/flavor perfectly balanced. Hey PM management....sorry to compare but in CA because of how amazing the baked items were and the large assortment, there are always lines out the door to get in the place. Some suggestions: #1 - I don't know what your methodology was pre-pandemic but it would be nice to have papers to place on top of the trays, even with items being individually wrapped right now. Also provide individual tongs to select items for your tray. #2 - Add more variety, such as taro filling, ube breads, coconut, etc. 85 Deg. also had breakfast items such as meat rolled in dough, egg tarts, etc. #3 - Add taro smoothies and taro lattes (hot) to beverage menu. I would love to try the bingsoo, but the website says enough to feed 3-4 people. That means I'll never get it because I am just one person. See if you can make an individual portion. I just really like this place. Locally owned with nice employees, especially the owners. Kind of on the pricey side but it's a treat and I think it's worth it when I get the craving for sweets. Unlike Sean M. I won't be equating Paris Morning Bakery to anyone's rear end lol, but I will give him credit for me finding out about this place. Like many Yelpers in the area I was first introduced to the Korean treat of Bing Soo by way of Food Truck, which I hear no longer exists :( Luckily for us, another Bing Soo place opened near by in Pembroke Pines (which I never found the time to get to) and then extra lucky for me Paris Bakery opened, which is only about 15 minutes from my house. My initial plan was grandiose and had me checking out a near by sandwich shop and then coming to Paris Bakery for dessert, but my laziness eventually got the best of me and I only came to Paris Bakery. Seeing that it was my ACTUAL birthday I figured I'd stop by and get some Bing Soo, and share my day with Father (it was also Father's Day) and pick him up some Korean style pastries. Off the bat I noticed two things, a) everyone else in here fit the authentic clientele bill and b) this place is clean! The counter to order also has a cake display, and there's a table immediately when you walk in of other wrapped pastry delights. I made my way to the counter after looking around and asked the staff about some of pastries. I ordered my Mango Bing Soo, and grabbed a tray and pair of tongs and grabbed a Hamster Bread and a Red Bean "danish" for my dad. The Mango Bing Soo took a few minutes to come out, and when it did I was impressed! I knew from reading Joan's reviews that this would be big, but wow, yeah, definitely for sharing, I barely made a 1/3rd dent lol, but the mango was extremely fresh! I'm in agreement with Joan that I wish there were slightly smaller (and thus cheaper) portions. I think ~$9.99 for this portion was fair, but make sure you have an eating partner or 2, and hopefully you can all agree on the same flavor! Missing all the Asian bakeries in Atlanta, it's nice we finally have our own here in Broward. They have all kinds of pastries (sweet and savory), shaved ice, boba smoothies, cakes, and coffee drinks. I've only tried a few of their pastries, but my favorite so far was the cream puffs. The hamster bread is adorable and you'd enjoy it if you like white bean paste (tastes kind of like mung bean). I prefer their coffee drinks over their boba smoothies-- only because I'm very particular about boba smoothies. Their tapioca tasted plain and seemed a little mushy. I tried their taro and honeydew smoothies, but it just wasn't for me. I like ordering their lattes and other coffee drinks instead. I've been wanting to try the mango and green tea bing soo-- I heard from many people that it's delicious. I wish they had smaller portions available because I could never finish it by myself. I love that a place like this finally exists in South Florida, but everything is pretty pricey. I'm not stingy but I've been to similar places elsewhere and I've had similar products, so I know the general ballpark in which the prices should fall. Regardless, the staff is very friendly and the quality is very good. Despite the name, Paris Morning Bakery is a KOREAN bakery and a very authentic one at that. The staff is all Korean and you can tell that they take pride in what they do. The store is very clean and quaint and decorated with a very cute Parisian theme. Half of the store consists of freshly baked goods that you can choose from and place on tray until you're ready to check out. They have a variety of pastries from sweet to salty and from fruit-filled to meat-filled. Sometimes they even have samples of certain products on display for you to try. You check out with your tray at the front counter where you can also order other things including coffee, boba tea, and bingsoo. I haven't tried the coffee or boba, but I ordered a blueberry bingsoo and while it was very good, it was also a whopping $10. If you're unaware, bingsoo is a Korean dessert made from shaved ice/snow so the consistency is very soft and fluffy and topped with various toppings and ice cream depending on the flavor you get. It was an ample sized portion served in a large glass bowl so we returned it to the front upon finishing. Again, very good and refreshing dessert, but I've had bingsoo elsewhere for basically the same size and quality at about $5-$7. I bought two packs of baked goodies and a bingsoo and it came out to be around $25 - by no means cheap. But overall everything tasted good and fresh. I'd come back here if I'm ever in the area and craving Korean desserts and pastries since you can't really find them anywhere else in SoFl. It would also make a cute study spot for all the Nova students. It's just always nice to have a little more culture in the area. read more

Ugh, why can't I live closer to here?? If I did, I know I would be there every day getting fat off of bubble tea and bing soo! This restaurant, I have to say, probably has the nicest owners I've ever met. Every time you walk through the door they greet you and pretty much treat you like family. Mind you, I've only been here twice, but the two times I have been here were with my boyfriend, and so the second time we came (it's been 3 months since the first time) the male owner automatically greeted us and then commented on my BF's hair saying it's gotten longer (which it has, he has super long hair lol). That's some memory! Haha. Customer service is always on point. The restaurant is so cute. Don't be fooled by the name tho, it says Paris Morning Bakery, but it's actually a Korean-French bakery. When you first walk through the doors, you're surrounded by baked goods, and they have samples of them if you come early enough! I probably tried 10 different pastries sample alone haha. My favorite thing about this place is the bing soo, which is their shaved milk ice with ice cream. They have 6 different flavor: mango, strawberry (personal favorite), chocolate, green tea, red bean, and blueberry. They all cost $10 and when I get my craving for bing soo, I come here hehe. They also sell different drinks like lattes, coffee, tea, and boba. And then in the front they have a display full of cakes, French pastries, and macaroons. Recently my BF bought a cake from there from for his mom's birthday, I told him to save me a piece (which he did!)... Soooo good. I love this place for one reason : Bubble tea! I have not been too impressed with the baked goods. The two times I was there I had different treats - and they have been just blah. Nothing out of this world. Maybe I haven't tried the right things? Perhaps. But I'll keep going back for their mocha bubble tea. It's deliciously refreshing and the tapiocas are so yummy! I like that you have the option to frappe or just ice. I personally love it frapped - even though I had never had it like that before. It was such a fun twist! I usually don't write bad reviews but the cashiers working today between 1-5pm were extremely disrespectful. They were talking extremely loud about how rude Hispanics are (which my friend and I there are clearly Hispanics). Also how Florida is a terrible state cause of Hispanics. They also were negatively talking about the military. If they want to gossip, do it quietly and in a place where customers won't hear. I got a frozen honeydew like smoothie with boba and it was really good and refreshing. Not too sweet which was perfect. I also got a spicy pork zipbap, it was not overpowering spicy flavor which was good. Overall they had a variety of cream puff pastries, cream cheese pastries, croissants, cakes, and macarons. They also had a coffee menu with iced and hot options. Prices were pretty okay. I've only been once on a Sunday afternoon. I got an almond croissant and some butter cookies. Both were ok but not as good as I expected.

Got an early start one day and decided to stop by for breakfast on my way home from the airport. Decor is really nice and clean and the pastry station is well organized. Probably because I got in early there wasn't much of a selection to choose from. I purchased the sweet potato bun, sesame bun and the "hamster". Also a herbal tea to soothe my coughing. Sweet potato bun: very soft bun and perfect amount of the sweet potato filling. You can tell they use actual potato since each bite had chunks of it. Not overly sweet, just perfect. My favorite so far Sesame bun: it first felt soft and light but once I bit into it the texture wasn't what I expected. It was chewy and savory??? Did not see that coming. Still wondering if they mistakenly used salt instead of sugar. But thumbs down from me The "hamster": I bought this because it looked just sooo cute!! And also delicious. It reminded me of the Chinese mooncakes without the yolk which I love!! It first felt heavy and hard but biting Into it the skin was flaky and the inside is filled with this sweetness. Love it!! And for the drink I got the red jenseng tea. I bit sweet for my liking but it actually helped my throat. French Bakery with an Asian twist. I lived in Asia in my childhood, and one of the things i missed was the "French style" bakery that would serve versions of sweet and savory treats, modified to suit Asian taste. Little did i know that Paris Morning existed. The chain (there are multiple locations) serve a style of pastry that is best described as "Koreanized" French pastry. They have your basic cakes and muffins and buns and whatnot, but their best stuff is their intricately decorated cakes, their fantastic "hot dogs" baked in with vegetables on top of the sausage (trust me, it sounds weird but it works), and their adorable "hamster bread", which is almost too cute to eat (you should, it's delicious). This place is a hidden gem! The cutest bakery I have ever been to! When you walk in you immediately see a wide variety of pastries they have all fresh and laid out. The inside of the bakery feels very fresh and clean. I love the Paris theme and the colors they used. I got an iced caramel latte (20 oz) and my fiancé got a mango smoothie bubble tea. My iced caramel latte was delicious, I was seriously impressed at the quality of the coffee! It wasn't burnt and I could actually taste the caramel. The coffee also wasn't too sweet which I appreciated. I would come back here just for the coffee, that's how good it was. My fiancé loved his bubble tea and said the bubbles inside it were delicious. My little brother got a strawberry macaroon which he said was really good as he put the whole thing in his mouth. I was dying to try the Bing Soo but was too full to take the challenge of eating the whole thing. So I decided I would definitely be coming back to try it! This Korean bakery is adorable. The decor is very modern but sweet. It's very inviting. The staffs are all so helpful and they're knowledgable so feel free to ask them questions. Don't be intimidated. I appreciated the owner giving us the introduction to his bakery and his concept on our first visit. I like seeing small business owners so passionate about their work. All of the pastries, desserts, smoothies, boba drinks, bing soo as well as the cakes are made fresh. Many of the cakes in the main displays are made with all fresh fruits. Mhm, I have a great appreciation for bakers that use fresh ingredients in their cakes rather than food coloring and preservatives. There is quite a few of pastries, buns and cakes to choose room. They have samples on the table for you to try. If you don't see the samples, ask for assistance and they'll cut some for you. We tried to mango bing soo, which is a Korean shaved ice treat. It typically contains milk, fruit syrup, and other toppings. I believe they have 4 different versions but we went with the mango. It was our first time trying this delicious Korean treat. It was so creamy and refreshing at the same time. The sweetness of the milk and the sorbet complimented the tart mango chunks. It is about $10 for this item but it's a pretty generous portion so share with a friend. You both can try something new!! We also wanted to try their boba's drinks. My boyfriend tried the honeydew and I went with mango. I know, I know.. I'm a sucker for anything with mango in it. Mine was very floral and sweet. It's a bit too sweet for me but still enjoyable. The consistency is very nice. The honeydew was the surprise. It was so delicious and fresh tasting. We even tried a slice of their new sweet potato cake. Omg, it was so fluffy and creamy.
