What I love about Yelp is finding new places I would never go to without the recommendation of Yelp friends. For example, Paris Morning Bakery is right in my neighborhood, but I probably would never had gone there had it not been for the reviews of Sean M. And other Yelpers. It sounds like a French bakery (not a Korean one!) and I am not one for cakes and pastries. However, I did have Korean Snow Ice on my radar and when I found out that this delicacy was served here, I could not wait to go. The Korean Snow Ice, known as Bing Soo served at Paris Morning Bakery was delicious and unlike any dessert I had ever had. My son had the Chocolate Cookie Bing Soo which came with ice cream and was very sweet I tried the Pan Bing Soo which had red beans. The red beans had a tinge if sweetness and were so unusual. Both had the fine snow ice which just melts on your tongue. Funny, that same day, I was with my son at a party where there was a snow cone truck. These snow cones were just no comparison to the delicate Bing Soo! The Bing Soo also comes in other flavors such as Strawberry and Mango. Besides Bing Soo, there are many other cakes and breads at Paris Morning Bakery. There are tons of samples too so you can taste what you ate buying. The owners and servers are a delight. They are all smiling and eager to please. After our Bing Soo, they gave my boys some goodies to take home free of charge. My only feedback would be that I would like to see a smaller portion of Bing Soo (and more options without ice cream) at a lower price. Right now the portion is huge and is really designed to be shared at a price of $9-10. I would be more tempted to pop in and enjoy this exotic treat more often if it was a more manageable portion and price. The place is spotless and a very cool place to sit, have some coffee and chill. When I saw that Big Picture moved - I was happy for them getting a bigger spot - but bummed they were moving farther from me. Then I saw Paris Morning opened up on Yelp - and came in to get my coffee fix! Little did I know I would meet my new love...............more on that later. Coffee - I got an iced coffee with mocha. It was good. Baked goods - I got various baked goods to take the wife - unfortunately here is where they fell a little flat. Out of all the treats I can't say I really loved any of them - the wife agreed. Boba Tea - I've only really had milk tea, so I was a little taken back when the boba tea was blended with ice - and had the consistency of a smoothie. It's not bad - I just think I prefer my tea a little more liquid, with some ice tossed in. Shaved Ice - NOW - this made up for the baked goods - and became my new love. Shaved ice with milk and a fruit of your choice. At the recommendation of the cashier I went with the mango. HOLY MOLY! This thing is not only huge (and photographs excellent) it's also super tasty. I know, you take ice, milk, sugar and fruit...how hard can it be? Well...it's amazing. GET IT! Overall this is a nice spot! The staff has been really nice both times I have been - and the place is always spotless. Walking in, their set up is pretty standard of an Asian bakery in metropolitan Asian cities and in California: the bread and pastry are individually wrapped, not very green but hygienic, and lined neatly on trays. You grab a tray and a pair of tongs at the entrance, and go ahead and fill your tray with whichever you like and proceed to check out. At Paris Morning, the prices are clearly displayed and there are plenty of samples on offer. The bread is so delicious I ended up buying more than I planned to. Yup, keep the samples coming because they sure are working!! Afterwards, we ordered a matcha bingsoo. The owner told us that their mango is excellent so next time I'll try that. The matcha one has some red beans hidden in it and flavor is totally on point. The $10 price tag is somewhat high, but as my friend point out, the Binggo food truck was about $6 but in a smaller portion, and this one has a scoop of ice cream on top, not to mention you get to sit comfortably and enjoy the lovely, tranquil ambiance. I especially love the saying they put on the wall: LIFE IS LIKE A CAMERA FOCUS . CAPTURE . DEVELOP Daniel Kim the owner is really nice, and came over to chat with us for a while. He told us he got his inspiration from Paris Baguette, a popular chain there. He also informed us that his next location is planned for Pinecrest - right next to Oriental Mart, the Korean supermarket. That news had us leaping for joy! Imagine not having to drive up to Broward! Oh, hurry, hurry up, I will so be waiting for it to open. But for now, I will gladly stop by for a delicious little getaway when I get a chance. read more

I ordered a large red velvet cake from this bakery for my friends birthday and I am completely in love with how perfect it was! I was able to order it easily through the phone, the day before pick up. Might be pricey if you're used to Publix cakes. This cake was 35 USD. My boyfriend and I had just found this place out even though we've lived in Boca for over a year now, we've been going to sugar milk for a while since discovering in west palm beach. This location is in such a perfect location, we've loved getting boba drinks at least once or twice a week, I'm very happy we've found this place the boba drinks are so amazing! They taste so much better than the other places we've been to, i didn't read the sign on the door when I walked in because I've been vaccinated since April so i completely forgot some places still require a mask in stores regardless of vaccinations or not. The store is absolutely beautiful but because I was not wearing a mask I walked out immediately, my boyfriend got the boba and we can't wait to try the boba ice cream! I was pleasantly surprised to find this Asian bakery in Hollywood! As someone who lives in the Bay Area, there are tons of bakeries like this where you can go and grab a quick snack or treat. I came here one morning after doing a quick Yelp search for bakeries in the area and wasn't expecting something like Paris Morning to pop up, nor did I expect it to be an Asian bakery with its name! Upon arriving I was greeted by the kind staff and I browsed the selections of goods they had available. They had lots of savory and sweet baked goods and were all reasonably priced. Based on the name you'd assume its European, but its more of an Asian bakery with a European flair. The decor is Paris. Cute and chic with clean lines, nice accents and cute little sayings. Its not your typical bakery with things you'd recognize so slow your roll if you're coming in here thinking you can order a pastelito. They have a good selection of sweet and savory baked goods along with coffees, teas, boba tea and shaved ice. They offer free samples on most items so you can try the goodies prior to purchasing them which is great. Hamster bread has a white bean paste inside...its sweet but not overly sweet since you can taste the savory undertones of bean....does that make sense? Maybe not. Just try it yourself. The shaved ice was ginormous and perfect for sharing if you don't mind double dipping with your group, there's multiple to choose from and all seem phenomenal. Decided to write a review after coming here for the second time. I had been craving boba tea for a while and wanted to give their jasmine base teas a try. I picked the passion fruit with kiwi popping boba! My husband decided to try their pistachio "smoothie" boba with tapioca pearls. Besides the teas, I ordered a ZipBop Bulgogi Beef bowl, and my hubby got a sausage onion "pizza". Both were absolutely delicious, but I will say this you'll have to be patient because it does take a while before they have it ready. The teas were my favorite part. The passion fruit tea was not overly sweet which I hate! And the kiwi bobas offered a sweet and sour kick! I'll definitely be repeating that combo. I'm not a fan of tapioca pearls, but putting that aside the pistachio smoothie was delicious! My husband said it's been his favorite so far. Another plus is the varied range of baked goods you have as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere transported me back to when we visited HongKong. Heard from a couple people it reminded them of their hometowns, so I'm assuming you can consider them on the authentic side. A very cute, cozy and inviting place! On our way back down south to Pines, my friends and I were feeling a bit European. The closest we can get to that in South Florida is finding any little café around. So naturally, we Yelp and selected this lovely little spot. They were about to close but the staff was very welcoming. We sampled a few of the confections on display, but didn't want to over do it. They have a pretty unique selection of breads and specialty treats that leave your flesh exhausted from resisting temptation. I ordered a double espresso and grabbed a bag of the almonds cookies. The almond cookies were nice. They are buttery bite size circles that are surprisingly not too sweet. I enjoyed these very much. My espresso was also bold and flavorful. We were there until closing and just hung out and chatted away. This place did it's duty in helping us escape to Paris for a short while. read more

I have been here three times already and this place is sooo cute! All the pastries are super soft and delicious! I love their cinnamon twists and their caramel latte which isnt too sweet. Their cakes are really cute, a friend of mine got one for his mothers birthday and it was such a hit! It was an apple shapped red velvet cake. I also tried the mango bingsu shaved ice and it was reallyyyy good! I dont usually like mango flavored desserts but this one was delicious and it wasnt too sweet either. I def recommend sharing it with at least one person and the price is $10. Overall a cute place for coffee and sweets! They also have sugarcane juice which I have been meaning to try! Been here recently with my girlfriends Mae & Belle (who are fellow Yelpers as well) to grab a bingsoo for dessert post-brunch. If you're unfamiliar with bingsoo, or "snow" in familiar terms, this snow-like dessert is finely-shaved milky ice that is topped with fruit, red bean, chocolate, you name it. No, this is NOT a snow cone. The snow here is much finer, which gives its fluffy look in the bowl. I have never seen natural snow in my life, at least not yet, so this is the closest to snow in Florida that is actually edible! I've already had their pat bing soo (the original) and green tea, so we wanted to try something else. We went for the mango bingsoo, and trust me, it was HEAVEN. The snow here is so nice and fluffy, the mangos so sweet, the mango ice cream so rich, and altogether it melts in your mouth and you just forget about your worries and keep indulging in amazingness. I kid you not. We actually need more places like this in South Florida because some of our winters even still is warm and need desserts like this to cool us down. Although their snow dishes (which are quite large so I recommend sharing) are their highlight, they do offer other desserts and baked goods. When you walk in, the first thing you see is the assortment of Korean baked goods, some of which have sample plates on the side so you can try something before you commit to your purchase. I find that super convenient. And coming here a few times, the assortment varies, so if you truly like something, I do recommend getting it because the next time you come, they may not have it in stock or they plan on baking it at another time of the week. My go-to bakery items are the breads with sweet cream -- they make really good sweet cream, which isn't too sweet, but it's still tasteful and buttery. Other items they have are cakes and French macarons, which aren't so bad, but I would rather get snow. It's nice that they do offer such items, which makes this place a good all-around bakery/dessert place. Yes, they also offer a huge array of beverages -- coffee, cappuccino, teas, milk teas with boba (big tapioca pearls), so on and so forth. Different flavors to meet your cravings. Although I wasn't a big fan of their boba milk teas/smoothies, I did like one of the teas I ordered, which my memory fails me to remember the name. This isn't a bad study spot either. I've seen some students come in with their laptops getting into the zone. Noise level isn't so bad most times. So if it gets too busy in your usual study spot, give this place a try! We came here for the hamster bread, and hamster bread we did receive. I was a little disappointed by the lack of diversity of different breads. Despite this, the sampler breads were all pretty great, and there were definitely quite some pastries that looked very delicious. We didn't have time to try the shaved ice, but we definitely got some drinks. Strawberry Smoothie: The boy ordered this and wasn't as big of a fan. The flavoring wasn't as authentic, and it wasn't made from fresh strawberries. The pearls were tangy and chewy, but the boy prefers softer pearls, so he wasn't too big of a fan. I really liked the pearls, though. Regular Milk Tea Without Pearls: Feeling a little bloated, I didn't want to start my day too heavy, so I got the regular milk tea with no pearls. I think they got confused with our order because they made me a milk tea smoothie instead. And actually, I liked it way more. The iciee texture was perfect and dimmed the intense sweetness of the milk tea to a comfortable touch. I definitely enjoyed the drink more as the iced smoothie (akin to a snowflake of milk tea melting on the tip of my tongue, metaphorically speaking) than when it melted, though it tasted good in its melted form. Paris Morning Bakery is conveniently located near Nova/FAU/BC south campus. They have spacious tables, numerous outlets, and WiFi that makes for a chill study location for students, or a work place if you want to get out of the house or your office. Immediately when you walk in, there are rows and a table full of baked goods. Take a tray and tongs, and you can grab whatever goodies catch your eye. My personal favorites are the sweet potato roll, sausage onion bread (I call it the "pizza roll"), and red bean bread. Look out for the labels if you are unsure of what the pastry is, and there are usually samples you can try before you buy! My ABSOLUTE MUST-TRY is the kimchi pork croquette. The outside is fluffy, with a light and flaky crust, and the stuffing inside is flavorful and crunchy. I grabbed one to try inside the store, loved it so much that I bought 2 more before I left. The pastries are undoubtedly made inside the store, but some of the fried items get oily and dense by nighttime. The red bean doughnut didn't taste that great by evening time, which is when I usually go to the bakery. But I imagine that if you can score the pastries early morning, that they are lighter and tastier. At the counter, you can order different drinks, refrigerated cakes and macarons, and BingSoo. BingSoo is a shaved milk ice chips dessert, flavored with a mixture condensed milk, various fruits (your choice of strawberries, mango, blueberries), small pieces of rice cake and topped with ice cream. These desserts are HUGE and will knock your sweet tooth out!! They are made to order, and made with care. I love stopping by Paris Morning for some sweets or a boba tea fix. The bakery items were halfway decent, but way too expensive for what they are. And the coffee was absolute garbage. The latte was mediocre and the mocha was possibly the worst mocha I've ever had. So either I have terrible luck coming here, or the good reviews are from people that have never been to a bakery or a coffee shop before. This location is much more spacious than their other one in sunrise/plantation area. It is well lit with courteous and friendly staff members. They have a variety of different Korean breads, cakes, drinks, and desserts. I think they recently renovated the seating area so it is much more inviting and comfortable. There is ample seating, along with different accent chairs and high tops for guests to choose from. Out of the breads, I enjoyed the chestnut one. They sometimes have cut up samples next to the bread so that you can taste them before deciding to purchase. My favorite dessert is the lychee bingsoo. It's sweet (but not too sweet), cold, and refreshing. I also tried the green tea bingsoo and that was tasty as well. It tasted like a more Americanized dessert. I wasn't really a fan of the mochi because it was flavored and the texture wasn't soft and pillowy like I like it. Overall a good experience and the only Korean bakery I know of in the area (and maybe all of south Florida). I've yet to try their drinks but I saw some other people order their teas and coffee. As soon as I walked in on a Saturday around 4pm I was very pleasantly greeted with a friendly hello and told I can help myself to the many samples that were being put out. I enjoyed almost all the baked samples. I ended up purchasing a Cream Puff, Sausage Bread and Green Tea. I found an empty seat and relaxed while snacking on my selected treats. Cute place, yes. The pastries and bubble teas are decent. This gets 2 stars for- painfully slow service, quality, and questionable hygiene with hot food items. I had stopped by to grab a tea and lunch and I saw that they had bimbimbap. Little did I know, that it was reheated ingredients, almost rubbery, with not so fresh veggies, salad, and rice all added in separately. I honestly would have been better off with a frozen meal from the grocery. Or, if I wanted something more substantial and higher quality for the ridiculous price and prep time, Gakaii was at the end of the plaza. When prepping the bowl, the employee, in plain view was rummaging around looking for utensils on a shelf that was about a foot off of the ground (items, dust, and anything could've fallen into the trays...) he wasn't wearing gloves and handling/touching everything including the MICROWAVE and I could hear him scraping out bowls or plates in the back. No sense of urgency. Never again. You might just be OK with the bubble tea. read more

Decided to check out this place based on a recommendation from a friend and went with a couple people so we were able to try a few things on the menu. Of course we tried several of the baked goods, which were a bit more expensive than those from a typical Chinese bakery, but were also pretty delicious. The hot dog one was pretty good (it also had a croissant-like bun), but it probably could've done with a bit less onion. We also tried the bread with raspberry jelly filling and topped with sliced almonds. I've decided that it'd not only make a good snack, but also a pretty good after-meal dessert too. We also tried a couple of the ZipBops, which are bowls of rice with various meats. We ordered the Bulgogi Beef and Eel bowls. Both were very flavorful and the rice was fluffy and chewy, which I liked a lot. I was glad this place had bubble tea, but was a bit underwhelmed with the taro smoothie one I ordered. The tea didn't have too much flavor and the tapioca pearls were much sweeter in comparison. Also, many of the pearls clumped up at the bottom, so I had to eat them separately after I finished most of the liquid. Have been coming here for a few years and really love the atmosphere and quality of pastries! After living in Korea for a few months I can say that the pastries are very much like other standard bakeries. Towards the end of the day they do get a bit stale, so I recommend coming in early for the best tasting pastries. Delicious place to get some good snacks! In terms of shaved ice, their bingsoos are pretty good, but I found that there isn't nearly enough condensed milk for the amount of ice given. The toppings are really plentiful otherwise and make up for this lack of sauce. The bingsoos do take a long time to be made, and compared to other places in the area is quite slow. I haven't had any of their normal hot tea, but this isn't my favorite place in the area for milk tea. The tea is a bit too sweet, and the flavor isn't as good as I would have hoped. I did order a coffee here once and was very pleased with it, so I can't speak for quality of their other drinks! This is a really lovely place to sit and do work or bring friends! I always used to see this place on my drive on University and finally decided to try it out. My sister ordered got us a cake from here when we announced our pregnancy. At that time, the cake felt like any other, good, but not the best. My family felt the same, nothing exceptional. But after looking at the reviews and pictures on yelp, we tried out the cake again yesterday. We ordered the chocolate powder and fresh cream cakes. Both were delicious! The cake itself was very soft and just the perfect amount of sweet. The cream is fresh and melts in your mouth. The fruits used for topping were all fresh and you could tell from the taste that it was baked the same day. Also the looks of all their cakes just make them even more appetizing. Definitely will keep going here for the cake. The reason I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because while picking up the cakes, we decided to try some of the bakery items including almond croissant, cream bun, and sponge cake. Not impressed by any of the them. All them tasted a bit stale. The sponge cake did not have the spongy-ness expected from Asian sponge cakes. I was quite disappointed by that. But the girl at the cash register did recommend pistachio latte to us which was epic. Definitely give the cakes and pistachio latte a shot, but will need to find a different place for Asian buns and such. read more

I have been a customer of Paris Morning bakery for years. Personally I can't eat or any of it since I became full plant based over a year ago. However, my family loves this place and all their great baked goods. It's important to support local small businesses at this time. Delicious breads, but terrible customer service. I went here for the first time and, as many newcomers might, I had questions. The cashier became obviously irritated with answering anything. This type of reaction wasn't limited to just me either. She reacted rudely, rolling her eyes, sighing, and sucking her teeth whenever anyone would ask anything. She also argued with another customer about the flavor of tea that the customer ordered. Finally, it took her 20 minutes to throw 4 macarons in a box, and that's time that she wasn't serving other customers. With as many people who are unemployed because of this pandemic, they should hire someone who appreciates the job and customers. I hope the other locations are better as I really was impressed with the selection and quality. Just a tip, I wouldn't suggest paying with cash as they apparently don't keep change in the register. I saw the cashier short multiple customers saying she didn't have any dollar bills. Another tip, I saw high fructose corn syrup on at least one ingredient label, so if you're trying to avoid that like I am, check the ingredients too. read more

Okay, so first of all, this place has all the elements that I adore in life, coffee, bread, and dessert. So where did you go wrong, Paris Morning Bakery? Attention to detail. If, as a coffee shop, you don't put the milk out for patrons to self serve, you should ask them when they place their order if they want milk. Our order was swiftly served by the two girls behind the counter, but during the whole short interaction we had with them, they looked very unwelcoming. I mean, really, I almost felt like I was interrupting them by coming up to order. No greeting, no smile, just an affectless, "Can I get you something?" The girl who checked us out never smiled and promptly returned to looking at her phone once the barista gave us our coffees. I ordered an iced coffee and asked if they had simple syrup. Nope. Only flavored syrups, which, in my coffee snobbiness, annoys me, because I cannot dissolve sugar crystals in cold coffee and I don't like flavored syrups. Ok, fine. I added some Sugar in the Raw... but then realized there are no stir sticks. And I was never given a straw. So rather then converse with the staff again I went to the side of their counter and grabbed one myself. I did grab a brownie from their cellophane self-serve dessert table, which paired with the coffee is good. Alone it lacked depth of flavor, but the subtle cocoa flavor is enhanced with a sip of java. Overall, I was just unsatisfied with the vibe of the place, given the staff's lack of warmth. Seems like a student mecca, and maybe if I needed a quiet place to study I'd go back. But I don't, so I won't be back. read more
