Nice owner who uses taste-tested inhreidenfor her boba. Didn't have grass jelly, but let us try the brown sugar jelly, and it was an awesome texture. Will be back to try to the brown sugar boba. Smaller shop, but big windows with natural light.

Came for the Grand Opening weekend and it definitely wasn't what I was expecting/hoping for. The drinks were bland and mostly tasted like milk, the boba was almost mushy because it was so soft, and the drinks were more than half ice (see the photos). Unlike most boba places, there isn't a scale or method for specifying sugar level or ice. If you are planning on visiting Mochini, this may not be the best place to stay and study or work for long because there's limited seating and outlets and no wifi. The ambiance is a little strange because there's no music playing or other people around, so the only sounds are the staff talking to each other. Overall, would much rather recommend Takao Tea just down the road. Their fruit drinks are made from real fruit instead of syrup, outlets and wifi are plentiful, and the boba is great.

This waffle is delicious. Like a dessert.

Super knowledgeable owner, Michelle, who will walk you through the extensive menu. Delicious boba, fantastic waffles. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend. Ambiance is chyll.

We were craving some refreshing drinks and found this place from Yelp. It was not busy for a Saturday and we were greeted right away. They had a nice menu with lots of choices, even had some specials on sale. For a hot summer day, I like to drink a cold refreshing drink to cool down. I had the strawberry grapefruit with jelly and my bf has the Vietnamese Ube coffee with boba. I was a bit confused at first because I saw that the menu said they had basil seeds as topping but the cashier made it sound like they don't have it or just didn't want to serve it. So she asked if jelly was okay in substitution for it. Which is fine. My drink still came out delicious. I have seen this place at a lot of pop ups around KC recently just didn't have the time to check them oitm but now I know and see how their drinks are, it is probably best to check them out when they have pop ups closer to KC bc their location is so far to be honest.

She also got the chocolate Hong Kong waffle with ice cream and enjoyed it. I would have liked to try some of their food, but wasn't able to during this visit (through no fault of Tsaocaa). The plushies and other merch they had was very cute and I'll very likely buy something the next time I visit. The decor was also lovely, with some very happy plants in the windows. The staff were also friendly and gave me no reason to doubt their skills. My only complaint is that the seating was just shy of being comfortable. My friend said the bench seating was a bit hard, and while the chair I sat in was soft, the arm rests made it a little too narrow for me (I'm plus size and have chronic pain, so finding truly comfortable seating can be a challenge at most places. As a note, anyone larger than a women's 3X probably wouldn't be able to comfortably sit in the chairs at all and would need to sit on the bench). Overall it was a pleasant experience, and I plan to go again!

I like the food court here better and now there's a banh mi/pho place as well (haven't tried). They have homemade soy milk, frozen homemade dumplings, ducks and cakes for order. Their bakery section is no longer cash only, which is great. 888 seems to have the same range as Pan-Asia but I somehow find more Chinese and Vietnamese foods here. I was looking to make Vietnamese fried flour rice cakes (bánh bột chiên) and I could only find them here. Before Pan-Asia got a makeover, 888 was my go-to. They used to be worse about labeling prices, but they've gotten better. Unfortunately my most recent visit had a couple items on the receipt that were scanned extra times and my partner hadn't noticed. Staff if always nice and helpful otherwise. Always double check your receipts!
