    Thai Tea

Came by for a quick treat. There are a lot of non-dairy options, and I went with a Thai iced tea with almond milk with boba and rainbow jelly. Sweet but not too sweet, very quick service, and customer service was good. Wasn't too busy but it was 3pm on a Friday.

Ambiance: k-pop playing. The space consists of two tables and bar-like seating. Drinks: we got the Brown Sugar Latte, Pina Colada Slush w/ lychee jelly, and Okinawa Milk Tea w/ boba. I like how extensive the menu is! There are slushees, milk teas, and fruit teas to choose from. I was disappointed in the drinks as the pina colada slush was just a super sweet juice and the needed to be more icy, the brown sugar latte was not sweet enough and tasted like milk, and the Okinawa milk tea was not sweet. There was no option to change levels of sweetness. Service: friendly and helpful to give her opinion on the most popular drinks.

Such a unique experience coming into this little restaurant. The staff was friendly and the treat was hot, fresh, and delicious. The images of this place speech for itself!

There's a Bubblecup Tea Zone in STL (where I'm from), so I was interested to see how this one would be in relation to the other! There's an array of drinks, so it was hard to decide on what to get. I ended up getting the Okinawa Milk Tea, and what is good is that these are all non-dairy based, great for a lactose-sensitive person like me! The drinks here are definitely on the sweeter side for my taste, so if you don't like sweet drinks, make sure to lower the sugar level. It's not as fresh as some other boba shops, but it has decent drinks and if I'm in the area I'd come.

This was a great spot with so many tea options! I chose the strawberry milk tea. This was a great choice for me and tasted like strawberry Nesquik. (Which I loved as a kid!) service was very quick and we had our drinks within minutes. There is not a lot of seating inside so we took our drinks to go. We really loved the wall art and how quiet the space was. We do plan on returning to try out something different!

I absolutely love this place! It's new here in Overland Park, but it's already an instant hit! My favorite drink is the Strawberry Snow bubble tea with boba! Such great flavors, great service, and a cute place! The menu is pretty extensive so make sure you take time to read it and choose your adventure

I'm so excited about another bubbletea option in the KC metro. This was their grand opening weekend, and all drinks were 20% off, which is a great promotion. It's a quaint space with a massive menu, which may be overwhelming for some, but I love that it gives me lots of options. You can try so many different drinks from classic milk teas, slushes, dairy free options. There are lots of toppings choices and you can adjust sweetness on most drinks. The employees were friendly and I noticed the guy at the register offering suggestions to boba first-timers. The owner was in the back making drinks and training. She was very kind and said she welcomed any feedback. The flavor of the drinks are very good, and the tea brewed tastes quality. My favorite thing is that they offer matcha sea salt foam! I want it in everything!

KC is starting to have a plethora of boba shops and there are many good ones. Unless the boba is perfect, I don't think any boba shop can compete for long. Unfortunately, I did not find the boba here to be perfect or even close to it. The texture wasn't right, it lacked chewiness and had a hard bite for some of them. I appreciate the extensiveness of the menu and its variety, but if a boba shop cannot nail the boba piece, it wont be getting my repeat business.

She also got the chocolate Hong Kong waffle with ice cream and enjoyed it. I would have liked to try some of their food, but wasn't able to during this visit (through no fault of Tsaocaa). The plushies and other merch they had was very cute and I'll very likely buy something the next time I visit. The decor was also lovely, with some very happy plants in the windows. The staff were also friendly and gave me no reason to doubt their skills. My only complaint is that the seating was just shy of being comfortable. My friend said the bench seating was a bit hard, and while the chair I sat in was soft, the arm rests made it a little too narrow for me (I'm plus size and have chronic pain, so finding truly comfortable seating can be a challenge at most places. As a note, anyone larger than a women's 3X probably wouldn't be able to comfortably sit in the chairs at all and would need to sit on the bench). Overall it was a pleasant experience, and I plan to go again!

It takes up most of the store and is easily bigger than the back counter area. Seemed a little out of place, but who am I to judge, i'm more mentioning it as it almost gave me pause. Wanting an after dinner treat I walked the few miles here and sitting in a strip mall I was expecting more cafe vibes rather than chuck e cheese. Granted there weren't any kids here, the rest of the decor was pretty appropriate to a boba cafe. Menu was large, clear. Prices were affordable (aside from the disproportionately high tax rate). Service was friendly and quick. Serving sizes were large, weren't overloaded with ice and foams. I was hoping to get offerings on sweetness levels as Boba places are notoriously sweet or even caffeine offering levels. I was hoping for the hokaido sugar milk tea, but went with the milk tea with the flan and boba which was a nice change of getting just boba added. I'll definitely be returning as it's the only boba place in walking distance.

The whole concept is great, and the sushi was incredibly fresh. The Full Experience: It's a very interactive setup where the sushi chefs are in the center making the rolls right in front of you and placing them directly onto the revolving belt. The servers were fantastic--they explained the whole process and let me know I could order anything directly with the chefs or request specific items from the kitchen if I didn't see them on the belt. The Pricing: Each plate is priced differently depending on the item, which makes it easy to track: * Blue Plates: $3.50 * Yellow Plates: $3.75 * Purple Plates: $4.75 Pro tip: Order specific dishes (like the Calamari or certain sushi rolls) to be placed on the "sushi belt." This way, you don't have to pay for a full-sized entrée if you only want a smaller portion. The plates usually come with 2-3 pieces, which is perfect for sampling! The Food: Everything I tried was amazing, but my top favorites were the Baked Mussels, Calamari, and the Eel Roll. One thing to keep in mind: I made the mistake of ordering a roll directly with the sushi chefs, but forgot to specify that I wanted it for the sushi belt/small plate. Because of that, they made me a full order of the Eel Roll (6 pieces). It was delicious, but definitely more than the small 2-3 piece portion I was expecting! I tried several other plates as well (check out my photos!) and loved every single one of them. Verdict: This is a perfect spot for a solo lunch or a night out with a group. I will definitely be coming back with friends next time!
