BEWARE: The front office & billing staff is passive aggressive and impatient (screenshots for…read morereference). I was referred for a gum graft and paid $1.4k out of pocket on the day of surgery. A billing staff member who identified herself as Erin told me that my primary insurance (Delta) had overpaid and the insurance company typically refunds the credit to the patient. When I contacted my primary insurance, they told me this does not happen. I was then told by the same billing staff member that the office - not the insurance - would be issuing the refund, contradicting what I had previously been told. During this process, I received a voicemail from them instructing me to stop contacting my insurance and let the office "handle it" as that would be "in my best interest"?? When I asked for an invoice or itemized statement to understand the charges and credit on my account, I was told that invoices are not provided. And to top it off, I have to get 2/4 teeth revised (without IV anesthetic which the office will not cover) because half the gum graft was unsuccessful.

The staff assured him it was fine and expressed understanding and rebooked him to come in today at 9:30am. Today, when he arrived for his scheduled appointment, he was informed that it had been canceled, and that a message had been left for him. We did not receive any messages or missed calls from them. He told the receptionist that and her reply was "OH" that's all she said like she knew they didn't call him. When he attempted to reschedule, he was informed that due to the previously missed appointments, he would need to pay $200 upfront for the next session. ODD why didn't they say that before? Makes no sense to us. The demeanor of the staff during this interaction was unprofessional, as it appeared that today's visit was intentionally scheduled as a sort of payback for his previously missed appointments, they never intended to see him and planned to waste his time just to tell him that and smirk while doing so. I needed to get several fillings replaced and chose to get them all done in one appointment. I was…read morea little nervous thinking that it will be painful but Dr Adrian did a great job on redoing the fillings with minimal pain (I was bracing for pain but the one injection I needed was so smooth and gentle!!) and the work was done in less than an hour! He also checked in often to make sure I wasn't in pain. I especially appreciated that Dr Adrian took the time to buff out the fillings and he was determined to make the adjustments no matter how small, until my bite was back to normal. Other dentists that I've had would dismiss when I'd mention that my bite feels different after having a filling done- or tell me that I'll eventually adjust to it. I also have to mention that Kathy and Megan the dental hygienists are awesome!! I brought in my toddler for his first appointment and Megan did a phenomenal job at getting him comfortable with the tools and the experience of a dentist appointment. Forced me to change some bad habits, turned my gum health completely around--all while giving such excellent care. He is gentle, he explains everything, (I hate that I'm not sure of her name) Stephanie??, his dental surgery assistant, is amazing. They both put me at ease and are genuinely caring about my experience. His whole team (front office!!) is wonderful. Friendly, compassionate, communicative. The only things I don't like? He's about a half-hour drive from my house AND he isn't a general dentist. I'd drive as far as I had to, to get the kind of care I get from this office. Keep up the good work, people!
