Well, I ordered through Grubhub and the order took an hour and a half to arrive. However ,I do understand an a Saturday night during covid that there might be a delay in delivery. My main issue is that the food wasn't very good. I ordered the Sushi appetizer which arrived warm from the delivery lag, but even when I re- chilled it, the fish wasn't fresh and two of the pieces were inedible. Then we ordered a hibachi beef and chicken combo. The food was incredibly salty and the noodles and rice were inedibly salty. This place is my favorite to go to for sushi!! Granted I only began going here after COVID so I have only ever gotten take out, however the quality is so good and the price is extremely reasonable. They also always have the food ready in time! I have no complaints yet. When I go into the place to pick up my food I find the staff is wearing masks which I really appreciate. I don't write many reviews on here but I've easily ordered from Aria at least 10 times now so I have grown very attached. Try this out!!! I went to pick up my food and she was on the phone (not taking orders) then she just pointed to my food to show the price that was attached so I can pay her while she's talking on the phone, then I gave her the money and she pointed to my bag again so I can take it from the counter myself, (not the counter where you pay) didn't have the decency to hand it to me. RUDE! that's not how you treat your costumers. I usually never write reviews, especially negative ones. However, I felt like this was completely not acceptable. Poor quality fish. Wasabi was hard as rock and chunky. Rice was not sushi rice - more like long grain white rice.

If I could give fewer stars I would. I ordered California, spicy salmon, and eel avocado rolls to be delivered. The delivery was prompt and I expected the food to be good because of the reviews, all praising the freshness of the sushi. How wrong I was. The food was spoiled. Two hours after eating it I am trapped in the bathroom, sick as can be. When I called to inform the establishment the manager offered no apology and asked what I expected him to do. I really like the food.... I wish they would care more about the environment. They use a lot of straws in their drinks when they are NOT asked for by the customers and NOT needed. The sushi is good, the fusion dishes can be hit or miss. They run strange specials, like free General Tso's if you buy more than $20 in food for delivery. Sometimes the delivery takes a long time, even though we live around the corner. They seem to do more takeout and delivery then they actually serve seated. I have the feeling that a lot of the reviews are not for this restaurant. This is the place in a little strip mall in Harrison NY. A mom & pop run establishment, generally very quick to turn around their food, and very fresh. I've very occasionally had the food take longer than normal, but never had it not be fresh. What it isn't is a hibachi place, although they serve hibachi from the kitchen, nor does it have an aquarium, nor is it in White Plains. So, if you are reading some of the negative reviews, they are not for this spot! This spot is awesome, with good fresh food, both sushi and cooked dishes, and fast service. We come here regularly and the staff has always been friendly, never rude. We have high standards, and have made this our go-to place for sushi and other Asian Fusion food, replacing some of our older favorites. read more

Every single time we have gone. No matter the time or whether we were the only patrons or they were full the service was awful. A simple dinner could take close to 2 hrs. Either the food isn't ready or the sushi chefs were backed up. When all they do is stand there. Ever seen them busy. This week we sucked it up and ordered on line for delivery. I was very disappointed with this place. I have ordered for delivery twice. The first time the food was fine the second below average. Their miso soup taste watered town. I ordered and asparagus tempura roll and very obviously was was in the toll was no part of any asparagus I have ever seen. Today I decided to walk in and get some soup to go , I ordered the special wonton soup , when I got back to work I realized that there was a mistake instead of the soup I got Vegetable dumplings. So I was willing to go back and make the switch , things happen . When I called to explain what happened the woman who answer the phone was super rude and kept insisting that I ordered the dumplings . So I hung up the phone , threw my dumplings (that looked disgusting btw ) on the garbage . And headed out again in search for a good soup . Ok so I know this place doesn't seem super authentic Chinese but the food is legitimately good. I really can't complain at all because the prices are reasonable too (lunch special is a great deal). I've been now three times in the last few months and the dish I order is great (Kung pao chicken). They put a lot of different vegetables in and make it with care. Rice is excellent. Dined in once and had a great experience...ordered for delivery earlier this week and it was great. Tonight was a different story. Placed an order online, which said it would be here in about 15 minutes. After waiting an hour I called just to check. Joanna told me she never received my order because their printer wasn't working. Asked me if I still wanted it but it was late by this point so I just said no that I would be fine just getting my money back. She then told me that I would have to come in tomorrow and get the money in cash...no problem. I get a call 30 minutes later from her and she tells me that she can't refund me and I need to call some other location to get my money back. After she hung up on me once, I called back and tried to get my money back again which just led to another argument. Thankfully my bank was able to reverse the charge on my bank account. Went there for the second time. The first time, the head sushi guy was there and we like the sushi. But this time, it was more like supermarket grade sushi. Fairly flavorless fish, and not well prepared. Even the signature Aria roll was just so-so, at best. Also the rice was not properly cooked, with hard under-cooked kernels. And for the kicker, they played games with the bill. They charged me for the more expensive sea eel, when I had the regular eel. When I questioned it, the woman said they only had one type of eel and menu is a misprint in that it showed two different eel selections, still insisting that the bill was correct. Finally after showing her the menu, and the price of the regular eel, she adjusted the bill. Smells fishy. read more
