Came here for dinner on a Thursday night with my friends and it was very delicious. We were seated quickly and even got to pick where we at because they offered us a table more inside so we weren't called by the door. The service is so fast here blows my mind but everything came out super good super fresh very delicious overall I've been here multiple times and it's really nice. I've actually never eaten in here before and this was the first time I've ever dined in and it was really nice. Everything was really clean, but it is a smaller restaurant so they do get busy fast if they are busy but on a Thursday night, it was very spacious.

Haiku. What the heck is this? So I ordered via Ubereats and asked them to add crunch? Who hired your sushi chef? I gave them two stars because they're usually decent but this is a joke lol

Delicious food. Casual and cozy ambiance with fast service! I love the wonton soup to start and then the 3 roll dinner combo

This place hits the spot for your local sushi craving. The staff there are all very nice and the food comes fast. We ordered the peppercorn squid and tempura mix for our appetizers and both were very crispy and delicious. For my main dish, I ordered the sushi and sashimi lunch when cam out to around $17 dollars. The presentation was very nice and the sushi was fresh. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The prices for their regular dishes are quite expensive but the lunch or dinner specials are a pretty good deal.

Chicken with bok choy was very dry and salty. Ran out of the specials during our Labor Day weekend visit. Overpriced in general.

The crispy octopus easily rivals anything I've had in Manhattan, super tender with just the right crisp. The cassava hash browns were so good I was almost annoyed by how simple they were. Paired with a rich, meaty sauce and a fresh fennel crunch, the whole dish was incredibly balanced. The wings were the most straightforward item on the menu (in the best way), lightly spiced, slightly sweet, and great for picky eaters. Someone needs to give the bartenders a raise. I ordered three drinks just to test consistency--every single one was balanced, spirit-forward, and not overly sweet. The presentation was different on each one and felt intentional without being gimmicky. I've seen some of the lower Yelp ratings and they mostly call out price, but this is very much a you get what you pay for situation. The quality of the food, the portion sizes (especially for this level of execution), and the overall intentionality behind the menu justify it in my opinion. Service was excellent. They squeezed me in last minute, and my waiter, Dionicio, handled my coconut allergy (not easy at a Dominican spot) with real care and ease. The space itself is worth mentioning - moody, mushroom/mossy interiors. Super cute, very well thought out, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

The pad thai was also tasty, with a sauce on the sweeter side. My husband enjoyed the tom yum fried rice. Only downside is you can't specify a spice level when ordering from a delivery app.

It gets great natural light, which makes it feel warm and welcoming right when you walk in. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food is what keeps me coming back. This time I had the flat rice noodles with spicy basil sauce (Pad Kee Mao), and I always go with tofu as my protein because it's that good. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, exactly how I like my tofu prepared. We also ordered the red snapper larb, which was a standout. They break down the fish, lightly batter it with a thin, delicate crust, fry it, and then toss it in a bright, herbaceous vinaigrette. Super flavorful and really well balanced. I did find it alittle overcooked but not in an offensive way. If you're craving Thai and find yourself near New Rochelle, I highly recommend checking this place out. It's about a 15-20 minute drive and super convenient from Throggs Neck and even closer from Pelham Bay.
