It made training her while also dealing with a senior dog, really hard. Two weeks later our dog is well trained, well mannered and mindful of the senior dog's boundaries. There is still work to be done in terms of training, but Kehla and the Tempered Dog has given us and our dog, the tools to do it. The best way I can put it is our dog started the 2 week boarding speaking a while different language and by the time she came back, we were all speaking the same language and on the same page, which makes everything that much easier. I believe the main person who was doing the evaluation was being given on the job training. Since then I went to another dog trainer who gave more useful advice. I didn't expect my dogs to be trained in one session but the evaluation and advice given were very vague (information I could look up online). Other reviews mention Rebecca being an amazing trainer. Our experience wasn't with her and maybe I would fee different if we were to have worked with Rebecca.

I come to PetSmart about once a month, sometimes more. I had one bad experience with PetSmart Corporate when I ordered something online and the order somehow went to a store a few hours down south. The staff at the Visalia PetSmart was SO HELPFUL! They told me to call the store the order accidentally went to. The staff at that store was very helpful as well and they told me their system was down and they were unable to cancel the order, but they gave me the number for the corporate office and told me they should be able to help. Worst experience ever. It was a Friday afternoon, around 5pm but someone answered the phone. I didn't get her name but if I did I would have been sure to make a complaint. This woman was so rude! When I told her what happened she told me I had called the wrong number and I needed to call the store the order had gone to. I explained that I had and she was talking to me like I was taking up her time. This is her job, I should be a priority and not a nuisance. And I wasn't even asking for a lot, I asked for her to cancel the order and she kept coming up with excuses after excuses to not do that. She finally decided that I would just have to wait until the store down south's system was up again. She ended up hanging up on ME after I had told her I didn't think that was a good idea. She said something like "have a good day" and just ended the call. I went back into the store (understandably) angry. I let the woman who was helping us inside the store know what had happened and how upset I was. I told her I would just purchase the item again in store and figure the rest out later. The item I wanted ended up getting discounted and the assured me it would be taken care of. Sure enough, everything ended up ok! I was so appreciative of the Visalia PetSmart staff. They are incredibly friendly and nice. I will always continue to work with PetSmart.
