Ariana's is a great family owned business. I like to go just before 12pm or after 1:30pm to miss the lunch crowd. Their taco salads are very good, I always ask mine with Carne Asada. And they are one of the few places that has strawberry ice cream for their strawberry milkshakes, not strawberry syrup, which makes a big difference. Everyone in the restaurant is warm and welcoming, they have quick service and the food is great. read more

In the past we have enjoyed this place but we will never go again. We took my Mom and Grandma out for Mothers Day and they served everyone except my Mom. When asked about her food they told her they forgot and asked for her order. Then when her food arrived everyone else was done eating. The owners explanation was, "Things happen" and "It's Mothers Day so we are busy". They didn't even comp my Mom's drink. Very poor customer service. They lost a at least 10 customers with my family and more if the owner doesn't figure out how to run a restaurant with a little more class. As we were leaving she yelled, "Maybe when you come back you will have a better experience." Stay classy Ariana's. read more

Good, simple food. I've only been for breakfast, but I've been several times. It's a diner-y place, open for breakfast and lunch. Not sure about dinner. The restaurant is usually pretty full, so I know I'm not the only one who appreciates their food! On a Saturday or Sunday around brunch time there may be a wait. I tend to order the avocado-and-stuff omelet, which is excellent if you like the ingredients (very heavy on the cilantro) and hash browns, which are pretty darn good hash browns. They do "extra crispy" well. The food is consistently good and they brew cafe mexicano, but you'll have to ask for it. read more

I found this place while on a weekend trip to Northern California. I ordered the avocado and cheese omelet (comes with cilantro and green onions) and my boyfriend, Keith, ordered the chorizo and eggs. We both were very happy with the food and the service. The portions are HUGE so if you are like me you might be better of splitting a plate or bringing someone who can eat a lot...ahem Keith. The restaurant was busy & packed but my party was still greeted warmly by the friendly staff which made me feel welcome despite how packed it was. Our food arrived quickly despite how busy it was. Wonderful service and great food. This place is the best bang for your buck breakfast and it has a very family friendly ambiance. I had the Eggs, bacon and French toast. Delicious! My husband had the corn beef hash and that was just as tasty! Our lady server was so nice and accommodating. Service here is great, the owners are so nice and remember the customers. Not only is the food fresh and yummy, it is quick too. I have eaten here a bunch of times, and never have I left disappointed. My biggest peeve is to have an empty coffee cup, never has been a problem here. Prices are fair and breakfasts are generous in size but not huge, which I like. If they had fresh squeezed OJ, that would be the topper! SOOOO Ariana, get a juicer!!! read more

We found Ariana's on Yelp as we were looking for a good breakfast restaurant in Salinas. We loved their menu and decided to try more food than we could handle. It was well worth it. We were impressed for our first visit with the delicious and traditionally prepared foods we were served. Looked on yelp for a good place for breakfast in Salinas. Wow, did Ariana's deliver! We had a simple eggs, potatoes English muffins and delicious coffee. The best part other than the food was the very friendly, happy, efficient and sweet service of Ariana's mom who was our gracious server. She brought us a side of her homemade salsa and even shared with us how she made it! It was delicious on our eggs! I went here on a Sunday morning and there was a 20 minute wait, which was understandable because the inside was buzzing. I came here with a friend who heard great things about the menu and value. The prices amazing and the food was good. I ordered the chile verde and eggs breakfast plate. The pork was flavorful, tender and well seasoned; the eggs were a little undercooked for my taste, but still positively added to the overall plate. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. read more

We are from out of town and had breakfast based on the reviews. We knew we were in the right place just by looking at the clientele.
