Egg Roll
Kyrell B.

This place is right next to the salon where I get my nails done. In the past I've gotten carry out however, today I had some extra time to dine in. I have yet to fully explore the menu. I always order the exact same thing. The gyoza, garlic shrimp and broccoli and egg roll are delicious. The hot mustard is homemade and has a powerful kick! I went at the top of the lunch hour and it was nice and quiet.

Oily, stale Egg Roll

This place used to be good but not anymore. I can't believe they actually expected us to eat this food. The sweet and sour shrimp was overcooked and burnt, chewy and hard. Definitely inedible. The egg roll tasted oily and stale, like it was premade and warmed up. The tofu was disgusting, like a big blob of tastelessness. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. I threw away the entire order. I placed the order from DoorDash and won't be using their services anymore either. My order was almost $60 and they only gave me back a credit for $24. If I do happen to order from here again, it will be in complete desperation, with no where else to eat.

Spicy Tuna Roll

Dragonfly roll is prob a top fav and eel roll with added spicy mayo. I was excited to try the sunrise roll, but it tasted pretty fishy. Since I don't taste the fishy flavor in any of the other rolls we've ordered before my best guess is the yellowtail isn't good. I still think this place is a decent place and will likely go again. Dragon best is probably one of best sushi options if you don't want to drive far from Reisterstown.

Takeout, triple delight dinner special. No carrots
Dawn B.

ordered to go. You must call ahead to order as you have to pick up food outside the restaurant now. I was not aware of this until pulling up so called it in while in the car. The wait was not too long. The food was fresh and the serving size was ample enough for leftovers. Everything was fresh and not greasy which I find is so prevalent in Chinese food. So a definite thumbs up to this restaurant I had not visited in years. It is still good and decent quality as well.

Lo mein leftovers

Excellent food, great sushi and very fine chinese, we usually get carry out or delivery, but the inside is nice for seated meals.

I was saddened to learn they changed owners some years ago, and I was afraid the quality would be affected in a negative way. It was a great relief to learn the quality actually got better, which I didn't think was possible. The fish is consistently incredibly fresh, the textures are clean and delicate, and every roll is balanced in a way that really highlights the natural flavor of the ingredients. I also greatly appreciated that they didn't change the menu much, because I would have been sad about my favorites getting removed. True, the Japanese feeling and atmosphere the geishas brought under the previous administration was more welcoming. However, I would rather have better quality food over atmosphere. That said, the restaurant still has a cozy, warm, and welcoming atmosphere that makes it very comfortable to dine in. I love that it is not a huge location. I prefer smaller restaurants to avoid crowds and eat without disturbing my peace. More personal attention too, as you get to know the owner and chefs and they remember you when you're back. The service and attention is better that way. This place is like that. They are also very accommodating with customizations, whether you want to add or remove ingredients, and they are always willing to adjust orders to your preference. Service is still excellent. It's perfect as it is. The flavors are consistently excellent, with a level of care and precision that you can taste in every bite. I would really like it if they added at least one deluxe roll that has lime or lemon as an ingredient. I've only found one sushi restaurant in MD that uses it as an ingredient. In other states I've visited, they use it and it is totally worth it, as it is a great contrast that elevates the raw fish flavors. It's a bit disappointing sushi in MD is different that way. But this place is amazing. I fully recommend it to sushi lovers.

We ordered some appetizers, specialty rolls, and refreshments. Our drinks were canned with ice and very refreshing. Our server also made sure we had plenty of water. The food took a little longer than expected and our sushi came out before our appetizers. For the specialty rolls I ordered the Bruce roll and the Alaskan Beauty. Both were so good and super fresh. I say this as someone who is typically a cooked sushi eater, that salmon was so good! We also ordered the soft shell crab bun and the duck bun. The soft shell crab was lightly fried and crispy, but the duck was very dried out. The restaurant is beautifully decorated which helps add to the ambiance. There is patio seating as well. There is ample parking. Overall I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more sushi!

This is my go to sushi spot - dine in or carry out. The menu is expansive and the sushi is so fresh…read moreand flavorful. The service is excellent as well, including for carry out orders. Inside is no frills - tables and booths with a tv in the corner and a few seats at the sushi bar. Not a super swanky inside, but the food is excellent and I would recommend.

I had the pick 2 lunch special, but decided to splurge on the Wayne's roll. It does have green onions, and they seared the fresh tuna on the top, which both actions were not listed in the description. I picked off the onions and was eating the sushi anyways. It takes a lot for me to return an item, because I don't believe in waste. I also used to be a waiter, so I know that it's hard when your tip is affected by the food. What did upset me was that all of the rolls were done with too little, and too wet, of rice. Every single roll opened up. The small Philly rolls I could hold together. The Wayne's roll completely fell apart, losing masago everywhere and making a mess of the soy sauce and the table. When the original cashier did come to check on me, I only had 2 pieces left of the Wayne's. If she had come over sooner, I may have returned it. She did apologize and ask if I wanted them to be redone. I said no, thank you (because you never know once they're upset), and instead asked for 2 dollars off of the total for the 14.95$ roll being less valuable than the 12.95$ lunch special. The other waiter dropped off the check without a word and walked away to wait for my card, without a discount . She ended up being the manager. She never apologized for the less than ideal experience, didn't mention that she knew about it until I asked her, and only said, "You chose to eat it anyways." She refused a 2 dollar discount. 2 dollars... for good customer service. I tipped the other cashier. I hope that she gets the 20% and the manager gets none of it. I'll never go back.

The food was full of flavor and great portions. The pricing for the value was also worth it. I was very shocked at that. I will be back for a lunch specials soon. There are limited kosher restaurant options (especially for Asian cuisine), so the fact that they have a place they love and can enjoy together is great. Objectively for anyone else who is NOT kosher - I do not recommend this place at all. Prices are astronomical for Thai and Chinese food - I've never heard of a $25 General Tsos Chicken (every other Chinese entree is $25). The thai entrees are $18-29 each...$23 for a pad thai is ridiculous. Even their appetizers for hot wings is like $16...or $18 for 8 steamed dumplings. If the food was exquisite, that could maybe excuse the price but it wasn't. I got the drunken noodles and it was not authentic at all. Did not use the flat wide rice noodles, not spicy at all, and just the sauce was wrong. The pad thai tasted acceptable. The only good food I have had there was their sushi rolls. I got a Ben's roll which was actually really delicious, but steeply priced at $18. I suppose there has to be a bit of an up-charge to maintain everything kosher, but still, these prices for the food quality was not it. Ambiance - nice lighting inside, but quiet. Service was okay the 3 times I've been, but slow at times. My father-in-law got his soup comped for his birthday I believe, so that was nice at least.
