Went today to pick up Shrimp. Ended up getting shrimp, scallops and tripletail fish. Tried the shrimp and fish tonight both were very good. Shrimp are a good size and had a nice sweetness to them.

    Great prices on claws

If you ever find yourself Way out in Aripeka, This cute seafood market Will be there to greet ya! I was on my way back From working in Spring Hill. I thought, should I get stone crabs? I think that I will!! It's in the middle of nowhere But definitely worth the drive. I got 2 pounds of crab claws. Though I could probably eat 5! They've also got shrimp and scallops But availability may vary. Make sure when you stop in, That you say hi to Karri!

Also visited the Silver dolphin with my children, for Mother's Day and on St. Patrick's Day. The silver dolphin never disappoints. Hernando Beach restaurant that frequently has a short wait for seating... but is 100% worth the wait! Staff are small-town friendly and feels like home. While you wait, there is a large gift shop to peruse with decent pricing from local artists. Weather permitting, ask for seating outside. But if they are really full, the indoor seating is almost as nice (plus it has air-conditioning). Weekend specials on certain beverages, so early birds always save more money. We had the fish tacos, shrimp, tacos, watermelon Mojito, and steak sub. The fish tacos were divine and my daughter loved the shrimp tacos as well. Breakfast platters are healthy portions and also didn't disappoint. If you get there early, they have weekend mimosa and Bloody Mary specials (BOGO). Our favorite person was an elderly woman that cleans up the dishes. So incredibly sweet, kind and personable. Staff is very efficient, friendly, and food arrives rather quickly... along with beverages. Great view overlooking a canal, small deck on canal, complete with view of snapping turtles, cool breeze, shade, and areas to take pictures (dock, mermaid statues, dolphin statue, florida signage, etc.) We will definitely be back (again)!

We drive up & down 19 all the time & this has become our favorite place to stop for fresh Lobster & asian produce. It's a super clean store with a fantastic fresh fish market inside that actually smells great. Absolutely fabulous fish market OuiOui. You wouldn't think there is a fabulous fish market here with tons of giant fresh Lobsters flown in every week, but surprise surprise OuiOui. Tons of fresh Lobsters. They have three tanks. The small ones are in the bottom, the 1-2 pounds, the 3 to 5 pound ones are on top baby. OuiOui. They also have all kinds of Fresh fish, Grouper, snapper, sole etc. Fresh crab, clams, shrimp etc. They also have a full Asian grocery store with all the usual ingredients to make asian food. They do not have a HOT foods bar but they do have fresh produce & fresh medicinal herbs like Rau Ram. "Rau Ram" is an Asian Herb, it's Viet coriander/Asian Cilantro. It's slightly peppery, aromatic, fabulous with spicy fish tacos. Fish Ramen. Lobster ramen. moi fave. You can eat it raw. You SHOULD eat it raw. I chop it up & toss it in my salads/soups/tacos. I also steep it & use it as a tea. I mix it with other herbs like clove & dandelion. It's moi #1 fave detox tea. (You CAN buy supplements of Rau Ram, I prefer to make my own culinary dishes/tinctures with it) It's an excellent medicinal herb, widely celebrated in various Eastern medicinal systems for its potent healing properties, anti oxidant, anti aging & super nutritional benefits. Mostly it is associated with rejuvenation & vitality. It's my most secret weapon. It def helps to alleviate inflammation & enhance energy levels, but it also promotes cognitive health & is also excellent for vision/eye health bc of the several B complex vitamin's it provides. Rau Ram is LOADED with essential vitamins, vitamin C, as well as the several B-complex vitamins that are crucial for energy production, immune function & tissue repair. It also contains the vital minerals, potassium, calcium & magnesium. Wildly revered as a natural botanical tonic & when incorporated in moi culinary & medicinal practices, it bridges seamlessly all ancient herbal wisdom with modern scientific research. Most people are not even aware that modern GMO foods do not provide the essential vitamins & minerals we all need to survive much less thrive. So, if you like cilantro, consider incorporating this extremely important herb into your diet. You will love the results. If you love Fresh Lobsters, fresh fish asian style, HL Asian Market & Rau Ram should be first on your shopping list.. Make it your secret health weapon. OuiOui. Highest Recommendations.

Ordered mussels, great. Ordered special ribeye "crusted with lobster". Meat was mid well, "lobster" was a spoon of cold grocery store crab salad on top. At least that's what I thought. Side Salad was to be served last, but tat never happened, as I was ghosted. MgMT: My specific point; I bought literally everything the owner would want 1 person to buy ~$xxx check average. As a mgr I'd be table side wondering who the f this person was. I'm not asking for this, it's just kinda unsaid, especially with a $xx steak incorrectly toasted. I politely and quietly expressed my displeasure, with clear overcooked meat.... And once my displeasure was offered, no one touched my table there after. I actually tipped the bus boy $20, in person, on top. I'll give it another go, maybe I'll just try the fresh catch instead.

Three years ago I called Brian's Place a hidden gem. Well...I think the secret is officially out…read more Brian's Place has become one of our go-to restaurants, and after many visits, I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. That's pretty rare these days. Whether we're stopping in for a nice dinner together or bringing friends from out of town, it's always at the top of our list. The food is consistently excellent. I'm a seafood guy, so that's usually where I end up, especially if there's a fresh catch or one of the specials on the menu. My wife almost always orders something completely different, and neither of us has ever looked across the table wishing we'd ordered the other person's meal. That's a pretty good sign that the kitchen knows what it's doing. The service has been just as consistent as the food. Everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do. You never feel rushed, but you're also never left wondering where your server disappeared to. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back. One of the things I appreciate most is that Brian's Place delivers every single time. We've been enough times that if there were off nights, we would have found one by now. Instead, every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. My advice? Bring a few friends, order a bottle of wine, share some appetizers, and enjoy the evening. Just don't forget to make a reservation because this place stays busy for a reason. Three years ago I recommended Brian's Place. Today I can recommend it even more enthusiastically. It's still one of our favorite restaurants, and it's one of those places we're always happy to introduce to someone who's never been. So far, every person we've brought has thanked us afterward--and that says it all.

This trip, I brought a friend and we finally made it. The food was a mix of excellent and not‑so‑great. The peel‑and‑eat shrimp were absolutely delicious, the mussels were great, and the fish sides were wonderful. Chicken strips were solid. The mushrooms, however, were not enjoyable at all in my opinion. The building has a lot of old Florida charm, but it's definitely due for a thorough update. One thing that concerned me was the warm ketchup sitting on the table -- sauces that can spoil should really be brought out fresh with the meal. The staff I interacted with were fantastic -- very kind, well‑mannered, and quick with service. I've read some concerning things about how the manager treats people, so I'm grateful I didn't have any encounter with him during my visit. The band outside was extremely loud, so we chose to sit indoors, but at least there are options. Watching the alligators in the swamp below was definitely entertaining. The place is huge, but the entrance is confusing, and I had to ask where to go. Overall, I can see where improvements are needed, but I can also appreciate the charm and history of the place.
