The nautical decor, the menu choices, the friendly service, all contributed to a truly memorable night's meal. We really appreciated the menu choices offering three different seafood treats on a platter. DW chose the grouper, shrimp, and scallops platter, while I went for grouper, flounder, and scallops. The fish were perfectly prepared, had a wonderful aroma, and tasted delicious. We are definitely planning to return during next year's trip.

Jensen Bros sells to lots of other local places so they have large quantities. Service was fast, friendly, (a smile always is appreciated) and they do have a few places to park right in front so you don't have to drive up and down Douglas Ave looking for parking. I've sampled grouper sandwiches from many local dining establishments, but my favorite is from "Carvor's Fish House" A couple of important notes: 1) Carvor's is only open for LUNCH. Their hours vary, so you'll want to check the website, but they typically close at FIVE PM, with the last order accepted at FOUR PM. 2) Carvor's has NO inside dining The patio is tree-shaded with extra umbrellas but if it's really hot, you may be uncomfortable. 3) Carvor's has COUNTER SERVICE. You go inside, order your food and THEN go back outside and select a table. When your food is ready, a server will bring it to your table. 4) This is downtown Dunedin, and parking can occasionally be a challenge on Douglas Street, but FREE parking is available in the city parking garage across the street.
