It's never fun to have your one-year-old car banged up in an accident but at least it was something that didn't involve another car or a person. Still, there was a lot of damage to the vehicle. I had been to the location where Arista Collision Center now resides when it was under different ownership and had a great experience there with body repair on another car. So after taking the vehicle to another nearby shop for an estimate and speaking with Vic over the phone before I took it there, I decided they would have my business again. It was a very good decision. Vic walked me through the entire insurance process and even got on the phone with them for me. It turns out that some of the parts for repair were difficult to procure which means that my car was in the shop for nearly a month! They'd had a rental car arranged for me through a nearby Enterprise office and that process also went smoothly. During this lengthy period of time I was always kept informed of what was going on by both Vic and Greg, good communication that I really appreciated. When it finally came time to get the vehicle, it looked almost better than it had brand-new due to their great detailing job. Great Tesla body repair shop, by the way they work on all models, they used original Tesla parts to do repairs on my model S and it looks great. Not every body shop is equipped to work on Tesla cars but these guys are since teslas are mostly aluminum they have a dedicated aluminum enclosure and equipment! VIC IS WONDERFUL!!! I came to Arista very concerned because of several splotches of cement on my hood. (The guys at the car wash had warned me that it would be very expensive to remove. ) I was worried about the estimate I would get when I brought it in for Vic to see. First of all, he is the nicest guy. He took one look and immediately started working on one of the splotches. Within 5 minutes he assured me they could remove them - without having to re-paint the hood! So I asked when I should come back, and how much it would cost. His answer: we can do it right now. AND IT'S ON THE HOUSE!! He then settled me in their lounge - with a coffee - to wait about 20 minutes. It has been a few days of bad news and stress in my life, so this kindness goes a very long way.
