I just had a great experience here. My husband and I were a little apprehensive based on the reviews, but it was nothing but easy, convenient and enjoyable. We made an appointment and checked in at a kiosk. Before we could we could sit down we were called to counter for help. Becky helped us from start to finish and she was friendly and helpful. She helped us with a number of services from licensing to titling. It was worth the additional service fees for the ease and convenience. I think the negative reviews are from people who showed up unprepared and annoyed. While we were being helped, I witnessed a number of people come in without the proper paperwork. If you come with all your documents and a good attitude, you should be happy as we are with this service. read more

These guys are great. I called to get my son in here for a road test, and while it took a few attempts, I did get someone on the phone to verify what documents I needed to bring in. I'm glad I did that, because I would've forgotten one of the documents and would've had to come back another time. The ladies running the place are efficient and strictly business when it comes to getting your documents processed. My son did his road test, passed and we were done in no time. Again, make sure you do your homework first on what is needed and it'll be smooth sailing. Do not go here for the new travel Id. Depending on who you get there, you will get a different answer of what is required. Sent us home to get additional documents, when we had all necessary documents, only to go back and a different clerk didn't need the additional documents. Makes no sense!! Husband got his travel id 1 hour before me, no eye test. I was told I need to take an eye test and when I asked why my husband didn't, the answer was "I make everyone take an eye test". So each employee has their own set of rules?!?! MVD charges $25 for a new travel id, they charge $68!! That is highway robbery! Stay away as you will get the runaround and pay a fortune. Checkin is by sending your first name to a phone number that is mentioned on a board as soon as you enter the office. Very less wait, nice staff, staff had mask on their face too. Work gets done so fast compared to visiting MVD's however it comes with a cost. Driving license renewal cost $30 bucks more and same goes with other services with different rates. However they compare and mention the additional charges clearly and seems to be similar across all 3rd party services. Overall it was good experience and can easily recommend. read more

Worst service ever. I was initially happy when I found this place. I thought it was close enough to my house and I can get in and get out. I was charged $68 for my son's ID that never came. I his ID for a sports camp he was attending out of state. Thank goodness I was able to drive him down. When he returned I called to see about an appointment, because they said he would need a new picture. They told me that I may have to pay. I asked if she was able to confirm if I would and the amount and the representative said no I can not I have a customer just come in. I told her that I would be glad to hold so that she could assist her customer, and she signed and said what is the ID number. She then proceeded to say I better hurry up and get in but would not confirm if I would have to pay. Then finally she said yeah you'll pay $37 or you can just go online for $12. Then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault I didn't get it. I don't understand why a little kindness was so hard. read more

Whenever I need to get a vehicle registered, a new driver license or travel identification, I'm a BIG FAN of authorized 3rd party ADOT vendors! First off, you don't have to wait 1 to 3 hours in a crowded waiting area. It costs about $20.00 more for their service fee, but it usually only takes 15 minutes from when you arrive to when you're done. On my visit today, they're operating according to CDC COVID 19 social distancing guidelines, so I didn't take any interior photos. When you first arrive, instead of taking a number, they have you text a number they have on a sign. You text them your name, and then you get a response asking for which service(s) you need. You then text the service(s) you need, and they'll text you back or call your name when ready. I thought this was efficient. If you don't have a smartphone, be sure to go to the counter and figure it out with them. The lady who helped me was friendly and efficient. According to her, you can get everything changed/updated, and receive temporary vehicle registrations, driver licenses and identification cards. The State of Arizona will mail the actual registrations/tabs, licenses and ID cards within 21 days, to your mailing address on file. For those who value their time, I highly recommend authorized 3rd party ADOT vendors and this location in particular. My son and I went to this location on a weekend as he needed a TEMPORARY ID so he could work on a Sunday. When my son informed the lady at the counter what he needed she proceeded to VERY RUDELY tell him that there is no such thing as a temporary I.D.!!! He said that he was informed by his attorney that there was such a document issued in AZ and she again reitterated that he was incorrect. Now, we had no ability to question her as he needed some form of State issued I.D. to work the next day so we went with the State issued I.D. she said he would need. Her demeanor during our entire transaction was snotty and rude and that's being tasteful and nice putting it that way. Clearly her focus was to upsell us and also issue him a travel I.D., something we never mentioned was wanted or needed. She grilled him about having some sort of utility statement as a back up I.D. so she could issue the travel I.D. to him. He informed her that he was not interested in the travel I.D. Then she looked at me and asked if I had a utility statement on me (sure I walk around with them everywhere I go???!!!???) that could be used to issue him a travel I.D. Again, we both told her he did not want that. Yesterday my son's attorney informed him that his State of AZ drivers license had been terminated due to the form of I.D. that this lady TOLD him that he had to get in lieu of the TEMPORARY I.D. he went there and requested to get. Not only did she give us bad information and issue us a document that cancelled his drivers license but we had to deal with her "know it all" attitude. I called the office on Carefree Highway and spoke with another lady there and let her know what had happened so she could inform someone/anyone there that this lady took advantage of us and did harm to my son. She seemed not to care and most likely didn't say a word to anyone, they just don't care! Thankfully, we went to a REAL MVD office today and they unraveled her mess! Two people we worked with at the MVD told us that what we encountered with this mis-informed lady is not uncommon and that many of the people working at these "Mom & Pop" license and registration offices are clueless. They said had she actually looked up my son's information like she was supposed to, her mistake would never have happened. Clearly, she was too focused on upselling him a travel I.D. and did him wrong big time! Made an appointment for 10:00, start getting texts before my appointment time and get a text (attached) telling me to go to window 4. I approach the window as told via text and an old woman with short hair yells at me very rudely to sit down and wait to be called. I tell her I'm just doing what the text told me. Left immediately. The people in this office work very hard. My father and I came in to get our new Arizona drivers licenses, and the staff was friendly, patient, and efficient. Yes, there is a convenience fee, ($50) but for us not having to deal with the lines and wait we're worth it. We had our proper documents, and had new photos taken on the spot. This office was down the street from our house, so proximity was a priority for us. Very easy to get our new DLs here. We will be back to get our new plates and titles here as well. read more

do not waste your time or money here. i came here to simply get a copy of my title as the state of AZ doesn't provide those when purchasing vehicles. my first visit was back in february, they processed my request and took payment. gave me a timeframe of 10-12 business days and if not received to come back. i returned the end of march, still with no title. i was told the timeframe i was given is not what they tell customers and i will have to wait 2-6 weeks from that date. it is now April 25, 2025 i've been to this place now 3 times. Today i was denied a refund, was told they have done their job and there's something wrong with my postal. i have received all sorts of mail for the last 2 months! i get emails for everything that comes in postal and here's proof that doing things on your own IS ALWAYS THE WAY TO GO! they are a complete waste of your time AND ABSOLUTELY ZERO HELP TO THIS COMMUNITY read more

Wait time was under 40 minutes. You check in by text and select the service(s) you need. Wait and they call your name and/or text when you're up. The gentleman that helped me was friendly and efficient. Answered my questions and had my transaction wrapped up in about ten minutes. read more

After a little while a girl tells me I need to 'check in' at their kiosk. That thing then asks for my phone number and name so they can text me when it's my turn. I enter the information, thinking the real purpose is to sell it to someone for marketing purposes, and finish expecting to be immediately waved over to one of the windows. Nope didn't happen. After sitting down waiting pointlessly a few minutes later I get a text telling me it's my turn (no shit) and a girl calls my name. How freaking idiotic could something so pointless be? For $20 less I can get the same level of stupidity directly from the AZDMV. read more

This place is terrible. I came in March and I still haven't gotten my drivers license I paid for. I came in about 20 times since maybe even more and no one can seem to do their "job" efficiently. They wanna charge me again and again when I shouldn't have to pay for a reprint because they messed up on their end. You'd think getting it mailed to their office would be better but no. Still nothing and They're wanting to charge me again to have it re sent and then blame it on California cause they hold all the power apparently. Like if u are offering something and taking my money I expect what I paid for. Now the job I just got hired for will not be able to finish my hiring process this is fucking ridiculous. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. Lack of management clearly cause they can't resolve anything. Then they say my document is expired oh no shit!
