My visit lasted approximately five minutes, and I was told the issue was TMJ -- which was completely unrelated to the reason I was there. There was minimal examination and no meaningful discussion of the actual concern that prompted my referral. The following day, I sought a second opinion from another oral surgeon, who was surprised that my condition had not been properly evaluated or treated. The difference in thoroughness and concern between the two appointments was significant. I then attempted to resolve the billing issue directly with the office. For nearly two months, I repeatedly reached out to billing and was told the person in charge was on leave. After finally getting in contact with her, she was extremely rude and stated the charges were non-negotiable, insisting that Dr. Golding did everything "appropriately." When I explained my concerns and the circumstances, I was told I would be sent to collections -- which ultimately happened. I was sent to collections for over $750 for this brief consultation that did not adequately address the medical concern I was referred for. Being sent to collections under these circumstances is incredibly disappointing and stressful. Patients deserve to feel heard, thoroughly evaluated, and treated with professionalism -- both medically and administratively. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

From the moment I walked into Dr. Bebeau's office, however, I felt genuinely cared for and supported. The office was spotless, which to me reflected the professionalism and attention to detail of the entire practice. I appreciated that Dr. Bebeau took a panoramic X-ray during our first consultation. He carefully reviewed it with me, projecting the image onto a large screen monitor and walking me through both the good and the bad. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and I never felt rushed. The entire staff was kind, compassionate, and understanding. I made it clear that I was anxious, and they took plenty of time to explain every step of the process, including costs and estimated out-of-pocket expenses. I was treated like a person, not just another patient. I also cannot say enough good things about the anesthesiologist. He was outstanding. He explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and helped put me at ease. His calm demeanor gave me confidence that I was in good hands. Dr. Bebeau was equally impressive. The surgery went smoothly, and my recovery was much easier than I expected. His staff checked in with me regularly, and follow-up questions were welcomed anytime, whether by phone or text. What stood out most, was the level of care throughout the entire experience, everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared that I was comfortable and informed. This is clearly a premium practice, and the quality of care reflects that at every step.

My care with their office will be winding down shortly, and while I hope to never need their services going forward, if the need arises, they won't be the first office I will call, they will be the only office I will call. Her tone and demeanor could use some work. She was young but spoke to people like they were beneath her, my fiance even said she was pretty rude and snippy in the back. To myself she literally ordered me around the second she started wheeling him out. I work in the medical field myself and I would never talk to patients or family members the way she did to me. I kept my mouth shut and allowed her to continue with her orders, but I really hope management gets to see this and gives her some constructive criticism. Just because you wear scrubs, does not give you the ok to talk down to people or be short and abrupt speaking to patients, we all understand being busy or overwhelmed, but that is your job to be professional, polite and caring.

After 3hrs he finally got brought back to do the surgery. They need to be more attentive to times as we then had to wait another 45-55min for him to come out. So our entire day was wasted as this place. Versus we had hoped he had been already recovering by 10am instead of 1pm. Go somewhere else, unless you like to wait and waste all day for something that was scheduled for 9am and took place at 12pm ridiculous!

DR NELSON IS A GODSEND!!!!…read more Before hearing about, and being referred to Dr. Nelson, I had unfortunately experienced oral surgery from another surgeon who turned out to be negligent and was responsible for weeks of severe unnecessary pain. That doctor had extracted a tooth, put in a bone graph and placed a membrane due to a small perforation in my sinus cavity. With that other doctor, I was scheduled for one follow up visit but the intense pain I was experiencing necessitated 4 return visits within 2 weeks. I felt strongly that I had developed an infection from the procedure and requested an antibiotic. She refused, claiming there was no infection. She took no tests or CT scan to rule out an infection. Instead she was rude, dismissive and acted like I was making up the level of pain I was experiencing. After a month of her completely inappropriate behavior as my pain increased, I went to Dr. Nelson (referred by my dentist) to get a second opinion. Dr. Nelson saw me immediately and took a 3D scan which evidenced that my whole left sinus cavity was filled with infection. The smell of sulfur was overwhelming, the pain in my head and face was at a level 8-9 at all times. Dr. Nelson put me on an antibiotic and performed surgery 2 days later to check for contamination in the bone graft and clear the infection. Immediately following his procedure I was so pleased!! I had no more sulfur smell and the pain I had been dealing with for weeks had dissipated only leaving minor sensitivity from the new surgery. Reluctantly, I had to give Dr Nelson a call on a Saturday at 4pm because I was feeling a burning sensation in my mouth, which I believed was due to the strong antibiotic. He answered his phone right away, he was so kind and compassionate and he called me in a prescription to help with my burning mouth that had nothing to do with the surgery. He was so communicative that one pharmacy was closed and he took the time to call me and ask which other pharmacy I preferred. My mouth settled down immediately. On Monday, I called his office to see if I could move my followup appointment to be seen by him sooner than Wednesday. I spoke to his office staff and even though he wasn't in until Wednesday, his office staff were so pleasant and helpful. Literally a minute after hanging up with his office, Dr Nelson called me right back. He was with his family driving to Joshua tree and couldn't have been more kind, compassionate and I told him there was no problem and i would see him on Wednesday. In closing, I just finished both of my followups with Dr Nelson today. His staff is wonderful and caring. I'll be seeing him again in June to finish the work started by the other surgeon. I am hopeful that I dont need any more dental work done as far as implants, however if I do, Dr. Nelson will be the first and only doctor I would call. I couldn't recommend him more highly, a true professional and gentleman. Thank you so much Dr. Nelson! Penny

Dr. Rabot is hands down the BEST oral surgeon! I dont even know where to begin . (This is a long…read moreone ) 1. I probably have one of the VERY worst dental phobias you can imagine from bad childhood early adult dentist experiences. Im talking trembling , shaking uncontrollably , sweating to the point my glasses would fog up , nausea , heart pounding fear . And that lead to a lot of years of neglect on my part. Ive had a dentist use the max amount of shots to numb me and look me in my face like i was crazy and tell me "sorry I cant give you any more" when I tried to tell them I could still feel it , not a little bit, like fully feel it . Dr. Rabot was the FIRST of many to actually take the time and hear me. Right off the bat he explained that he would try a different technique that required an injection into the back of my jaw and that it would not be the most pleasant but it should do the trick. When I tell you this man did extractions and implants with less pain that ive had for a cavity/root canal/ simple extraction. The whole time talking me thru what he was doing , making sure I was ok and comfortable the entire time. His chairside manor is incredible and he just has a very calming and assuring way about him . 2nd Dr. Rabot has given me several implants and a few weeks into the 3rd one it had failed (it happens) . And it was CHRISTMAS morning , I texted Dr. Rabot early in the morning and sent him a video of me wiggiling my implant with my tounge. His response ? "I can be at the office in 30 minutes , or would you be more comfortable in the hospital setting because we can go there too". ON CHRISTMAS MORNING !! I am not a fan of hospitals so I went with the office. 30 min and he had me in the chair , numbed up , implant out and bone grafting done , 3-4 months later new implant and back in buisness (2nd attempt did not fail ) 3rd EVERY SINGLE TIME he has done any surgery on my HE calls me to check up on me. Not an assistant. 4th he has never made me feel stupid for my insane phobia , only been supportive and understanding. 5th VERY VERY clean office VERY kind staff . I DO not give out 5 star reviews easy . But this one is so deserved . He is a master at his craft and knows and cares very much about the work he does and that shows To the person who complained about having to wait while he ordered his food on vacation in another country .... poor you !!! You had to wait a couple minutes ....... it would have been so much better if you were sent to an after hours answering service or a voicemail right ? Cause thats what most Docs will do. Im not sure what other option he could have provided to you for immidiate help other than hospital . He was out of the country, the fact he answered the call at all shows you exactly the kind of Dr he is . The kind that always puts his patients first.
