It's crazy to spend 25k on implants and have to return 3 times in 3 years because your implants cracked. Then have to come out of pocket again for them to repair or replace. Super unprofessional and they clearly don't back the products sold to their customers. I do NOT recommend having any services done here unless you enjoy getting screwed every few months/years. Selling my mom implants that crack while eating an onion ring is CRAZY work. Do better. Why would anyone sell or promote a material that can't withstand basic foods and then charge 25k ++ for them. They advertise a lifetime warranty but clearly that's a joke. Do not trust this company with your teeth or you'll be disappointed. My mom spent her life savings on a new teeth to feel beautiful and confident, just to have to deal with this. She's disabled and on a fixed income now and can not afford these astronomical repair costs on something she originally spent 25k on. Unacceptable!!! Update: 1/4/26 my brother got conned into financing 5k for them to fix her top implants. Her temporary set cracked within a week, this is ridiculous. Why is it you all respond to the good reviews and not the bad ones? What will Aria do to make this right?

I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. If you're looking for a truly professional dentist who gives five-star care and service, this is the place. Dr. David Ngo at S&L is the only one I would recommend without any hesitation.

He is knowledgeable and professional and always takes time to check in, even during routine cleanings. I usually don't wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments. There have been times where I needed immediate dental care and they are able to work with you to fit you in as quickly as possible. I have recommended him to many people throughout the last 8 years! At a previous dental office in Miami I had a terrible experience that started with a routine cleaning that turned into a root canal 6 hours later and left me with significant anxiety with all things dental related. I found out a few years later after moving to Arizona that the root canal was not performed correctly and I had to get it re-done. Dr. Ngo is incredible at calming nerves and making you feel safe when in uncomfortable situations, especially with anxiety. He talks through every step in advance and during the procedures, so that there are no surprises. He takes extra time when numbing the mouth so that the pain is tolerable and at times barely noticeable. I really appreciate this and feel like it's rare to find. I highly recommend Dr. Ngo and S&L Dental for all your dental needs.

Being concerned why I didn't receive anything for financing and wasn't able to reach out anyone over the phone because it was Sunday, I left it for appointment on 12/08/2025. While I was driving to dentist office I received email with financing application already being field out without my concern and no option for review before signing it. Arriving to the office, invited to - so called - Manager office by name Doloris Defaria and when I asked her about the financing aplication and explaining late receiving of the financing information with no option for review Doloris suggested to move the appointment to 12/15/2025. Being very suspicious with the whole financing approach I cancel the whole think. Sadly, Dr Mark was cooperative and friendly that gave me confidence that I can work with but something just got to go wrong. So waist of time and energy, money being cashed out from my insurance off course while being informed the office is not working with any insurance. Any tip would be appreciated Sarina Starfish

I was immediately pleased with my first call and the more I found out about this practice the more I was drawn to it. The transition from the last practice was easy because of the personable positive help and flexibility from the staff. When I first met Dr Fialkoff for my exam I felt as if I was a patient for years. It is hard to explain but the doctor projects a professional warm caring common-sense concern for the patient that I found in the first dentist we had for 30 years who has since retired. Dr. Fialkoff fit me in and filled the cavity during that first visit, and I believe we are going to be very pleased with our decision to have joined this practice.

Please know that it was never my intention to confuse, mislead, or make you feel uncomfortable in any way. I take great pride in my work, and even more so in maintaining trust, transparency, and open communication with every patient. The fact that you feel this trust was broken is deeply upsetting to me, and for that, I am truly sorry. If you're open to it, I would be grateful for the opportunity to share my perspective. While I would prefer to speak in person, I hope this email can be a first step toward a better understanding and towards rebuilding trust. You and I first met in August 2018, when you came to me for a second opinion regarding in process work that was being completed by Dr. Douglas. We continued to stay in touch, and in March 2020, you shared your concerns about the extensive treatment you had received. I remember your uncertainty about whether all the crowns were necessary--especially in light of your long and trusted relationship with your previous dentist in Chicago. In July 2021, nearly three years after our first interaction, you officially joined our practice. From the beginning, we had candid conversations about how essential trust is to any healthcare relationship, and I emphasized that trust and transparency are core values in how I practice. Around that time, you mentioned vague discomfort in your upper right area. Since I wasn't able to make a definitive diagnosis, I recommended a conservative approach. I recommended doing nothing. We could monitor the area and avoid any unnecessary treatment. I've always believed that treatment should only be performed when there's a clear clinical diagnosis. In December 2022, you began reporting discomfort and food getting trapped on the lower right side. Upon examining the area, both my hygienist and I found a 6mm pocket with bleeding and pus--signs of a localized periodontal abscess. We proceeded with a localized surgical procedure (osseous surgery) to clean and reshape the area for better health and maintenance. You mentioned feeling that the hygienist and I were speaking out of earshot during that visit. I don't recall the details of that brief conversation, it was over two years ago, but if it made you feel excluded or uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize. I can only say that it is not in common for me to quietly clarify clinical details with a team member before addressing a patient more fully. More recently, regarding the upper right premolar (tooth #5). I remember you came in with vague pain while eating. You also wanted to rule out a possible sinus infection. On examination, tooth #5 showed some signs that raised suspicion of a possible crack, such as tenderness to lateral tapping, discomfort on palpation near the root, and possibly a radiolucency around the post. I reviewed the X-rays with you and explained that while the images were inconclusive, these findings collectively may suggest a potential fracture. At that point, I did not recommend extraction because I was still uncertain of the diagnosis. But I remember you stating that there was ongoing pain. In that case, we discussed removal and options for replacement. You also expressed how unhappy you were with the color of an adjacent crown. I suggested we could remake that crown to better match after placing a temporary cantilevered bridge during implant healing. You agreed with the plan at that time. I was surprised when you called later saying the tooth wasn't hurting and that you were unsure why I had recommended treatment. I reiterated that if the pain had resolved and you didn't feel the tooth needed to be replaced, then no further treatment was necessary. I never intended to pressure or mislead you only to provide my best clinical judgment at the time. I even recommended you get a second opinion with Dr Wood, As I said at the beginning of this email, I'd welcome a chance to meet and discuss everything in person. I am also happy to share with you any other clinical information that you'd like. If, after reviewing everything, you still feel the treatment or recommendation was inappropriate, I will gladly reimburse you for everything you've paid to our office. Yes dentistry is how I earn my living but it has never been about money. It's always been about maintaining trust and integrity in how I care for my patients and in how I represent myself in the community. Again, I'm very sorry for the frustration and disappointment you've experienced. If you're open to reconnecting, I would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to talk. Sincerely, Dr. Fialkoff

Biltmore Commons has asked me to leave a review. I cannot in good faith say anything nice about…read morethis place. I am new to the area and was recommended to this practice. My old practice was a single dentist, a few dental assistants and a receptionist. You spend your entire visit with the dentist and he provides you an honest summary of your visit. The total visit is under a half hour. Biltmore Commons has 6 Dentists and at least that many dental hygienist and more dental assistants and receptionists. You spend the majority of your visit with your hygienist and about 2 minutes with the dentist. Because there is so much overhead you get a Spirit Airlines experience where you are constantly getting upsold nonsense. The hygienists are more like used car salesmen than people who clean your teeth. I have been to this place twice and they have tried selling me laser treatment ($100) night guards ($800), Invisilign, a Waterpick ($120), an additional cleaning, and they were going to try to sell me an electric toothbrush if I didn't already have one. The hygienists don't give up the entire visit until you say yes to something. The dentist never says you need any of these things. I never went through with any of these scams. And I will not be going to Biltmore Commons ever again. My first visit was 2 hours (with x-rays) and my second was almost an hour (without x-rays). I have a life and my time is not valued. My recommendation is to find a dentist with less overhead where they can pay for their practice with just regular dental work and not ancillary products.
