Hemi lifter failed wiping out my cam During an 1800 mile drive From Washington.From all the shops I called, i was a little nervous with HOW inexpensive this shop was. Corrected a check engine issue with my Ford Expedition. The catalytic convertor left and right banks needed replacement. It was diagnosed and there were obvious signs as to why the system wasn't working. A prior mechanic supposedly had replaced my left bank based on diagnostic evaluation. It was replaced twice by the prior mechanic and codes were still coming back. The prior mechanic had improperly installed the system. (hole drilled in the exhaust pipe and O2 sensor was stuck in there). Zack's Garage found and corrected the problem. I will go to them again. read more

Zack is by far the best mechanic we have ever used--so much so that we had our vintage Toyota FJ towed from Utah to Tucson when our engine $hit the bed so he could do the work on it. This is after having preventative maintenance done at the shoddy mechanic who shall not be named in Seattle... Zack is up front about communicating. His prices are very fair and he sticks to original estimates. He also knows pretty much everything about vehicles, and, what he doesn't know, he researches to find out. Additionally, when borrowing a friend's vehicle while he was working on mine, took her Subaru to him to diagnose the dash light which was related to emissions system. He fixed the light, refused to charge her for that and also discovered her brakes were going out, which the dealer had missed. His brake job was very reasonably priced.
