I don't write many Yelp reviews (you can check), but I need to write one for AZ Motorcycle. I typically only take my bike to the shop for getting a tire put on a rim, or for valve adjustments. I have had horrible luck with valve adjustments. I am not exaggerating, but here are some of the things that have happened when I've have valve work done: only half the cylinders checked/adjusted (V4 bike); broken fairings; wires not put back where they belong; steering damper came loose on the way home; pinched gasket; and worst of all, bent valve cover. Add all that up, and I HATE getting my valves adjusted. When it was time for my current bike (ZX-14R) to have the work done, I started calling around. The factory dealerships wanted anywhere between $800 - $1000 to do it. Some of the local shops would do it but it was still in the $600 - $700 range (which I'm fine paying if that's really what it takes). Anyway, I found a local guy to do it but I put it off for a month. When I finally made it over to his shop he informed me he no longer did 'hard' jobs, so it was back to calling around. I called another shop in Mesa and made an appointment to drop the bike off but when I showed up he informed me that he had other bikes show up and those took precedence over my bike. That's fine, no big deal. I'll just go somewhere else. Which brings me to AZ Motorcycle. I found them on Yelp and they had good ratings. I was still nervous because another place I went to in the past had good ratings on Yelp and they were the guys who bent my valve cover. But I decided to take a leap of faith and try AZ Motorcycle out. I am so glad I did. Not only did they give me a fast turn around time, they charged me what they quoted me and their quote was almost HALF of what other places were telling me. Are you kidding? On top of all that, when I got the bike back they had wiped it down and shined it up. Talk about service. I know this is a long story but I didn't want to come off like some of those reviewers on Amazon where all they do is give five stars and say, "Great product!" I wanted to give some details so you'd know that AZ Motorcycle is the real deal. I couldn't be happier. If I ever need anything done on my bike I'm coming here because I trust that they'll do the job right and they'll charge me an honest amount. Good for you MIke and Marco(?). You guys are awesome. I took my new gsxr1000 here at first just to get my clutch ajusted Marco and Mike had it back me within the HR working great. They went over it with out me asking them to and let me know what it needed.. I drag this bike and I blew the clutch. I called them up and they took care of everything. Kept me in formed I had them do some outher stuff to it and they did a great job.. They only had it a week and it was good to go. They always go above and beyond for the customers. Ive been riding 20 years and have had some bad experience with repair shops. These guys are legit I highly recommend taking and motorcycle dirt bike quad or anything u need done.. I'm willing to bet that the greatest fear of anybody needing service done to their vehicles is that their mechanic is going to take them for a proverbial ride. Arizona Motorcycle is definitely not that type of shop. Mike and Marco make it their mission to make sure you get back up and riding, and they love what they do! Mike, the owner, and Marco are avid riders, so they know the importance of having a healthy ride. When you come in with an under-performing bike, know that these guys completely commiserate. More often than not, they probably care more about your bike than you do. That means that your bike will be handled with the utmost care, and in the most expeditious manner possible. Mike treats everybody that comes to his shop like they're family. There's an unspoken bond between motorcycle riders, and with that bond comes much respect. So, no matter what you ride, know that Mike and his crew will go out of their way to ensure that whatever ails your iron horse is remedied, and that you're back on the road as soon as possible. Not only do these guys have the desire to make sick bikes healthy, but they also have the know-how to back it up. Mike, prior to owning his own shop, was a trick motorcycle rider, and if I'm not mistaken, still holds some type of Arizona stoppie record. Certifiable bad ass. He also worked for several years at a major motorcycle shop here in the state before going out on his own. Marco has spent almost his entire adult life on two wheels. Unless there's an inch of snow on the ground, you better believe that Marco is riding. Besides riding a motorcycle more often than he eats hot meals, Marco is also a certified welder and aircraft mechanic. He has also built competition motorcycles from scratch, and won awards by doing so. Needless to say, these guys are qualified to get you back out on the open roads. Mike's shop has grown exponentially since the first time I ever visited to have a perpetually flat tire fixed. Before, there were only a couple of booths...about the width of a four car garage. Now, due to his success, Mike has been able to expand the number of booths he has. Not only that, but he and Marco have added a customer lounge complete with a television and couches for any customers needing quick work done. Last I heard, Arizona Motorcycle is also on the verge of getting a powder coating booth. With their vast knowledge base, and their passion for motorcycles, there really isn't much (if anything) they can't do in the way of motorcycle repair. If you're somebody who is particular about their ride, and if you don't like that "I'm getting screwed over" feeling when dealing with a mechanic, then Arizona Motorcycle is the place to be. It happened again! Mike picked up my bike (filthy as it was) and gave it the "once over" for the season. He went through it, found a small coolant leak and something with the carb boots (whatever those are) and tuned it up. Called him to see how it was going and he told me he ws just getting it "dialed in" He delivered it back to the house and it was cleaner than new, and actually runs better than it ever has. I was seriously going to sell it and get something else, and now you will never get it away from me! When he gave me my total, I was honestly concerned that he did not charge me enough. Need to make sure he stays in business! A truly honest mechanic. Who would have guessed they existed? He even has the coolest cellular credit card machine I have ever seen.. you sign with you finger right on his phone. If you EVER need someone to work on your bike.. Mike is the guy! I needed to upgrade the suspension on my 2017 FJ09. Lets just say I am not the weight that Yamaha had in mind when designing this bike, plus the added weight of full top and side Givi hard cases. I reached out to the team at AZMS based on a recommendation from a co-worker who had some suspension work done by Mike and team. I reached out on Yelp and got a response within 15 minutes. After a short chat I called and spoke with Mike directly. We talked through some options and made a plan to order an Ohlins rear shock and some properly weighted Ohlins front springs. A 50% deposit was provided and the order was placed and so the waiting began (supply chain issues and pandemic, blah blah blah.) A couple of weeks later the shop called me back and said that the front springs were on back order and would be a while longer and I could get the rear done now and the front when they springs showed up. After talking it over I asked about options for going full bore and getting new cartridges from either Ohlins or Andreani (which I knew of from an online owners forum.) apparently Ohlins is a part of Andreani and AZMS is an authorized dealer for both. A day later I got a call back and the Andreani carts were in stock for what I needed for a small amount more than the springs I was waiting on. I agreed and the parts were ordered. A couple weeks later everything was at the shop and ready for me to drop the bike off. I dropped it after work on a Wed (I was going out of town for a few days) and they had me on the schedule for Saturday. Called me in the afternoon on Saturday and the bike was ready. I picked it up ASAP on Tuesday when I got back in town and it's like a brand new machine. I can't recommend Mike and team at AZMS enough. They took the time to explain everything and work through what would work best for me. Their prices were extremely reasonable and more than competitive and I will definitely be back when (not if) I need more upgrades or general maintenance. read more

He has even diagnosed a problem a couple times over the phone for me based solely on my description of the problem and make and model of my bike. Made appointment for 2:30pm over the phone, morning of, to swap out a front tire and have a chain tension adjustment done on a yamaha. Arrived a little late, Mike got started right away after minimal paperwork and finished in the 45 minutes he initially estimated. Took a quick nap on the couch there. This place is the best. I was first referred to Arizona Motorcycle Services when I called Cycle Gear to ask for suggestions on where to get the chain tightened on my Yamaha XV (thanks Cycle Gear!). I called the number, and it went to voicemail; however, before I could even make a second attempt, Mike was calling me back. I showed up about 15 minutes before closing time. Mike wasn't there, but Eric and Marco in the shop were courteous and very knowledgeable. There were tons of bikes in there, but they tightened my chain on the spot and for free! So, naturally, this great service led me back again for a tune-up. I was able to drop my bike off right away and got it back two days later. Cleaner, leaner, and meaner. If you're anything like me, your motorcycle is VERY important to you! Unfortunately, I didn't treat mine very well for about three years; it sat under a tarp in the back yard and wasn't started once! When I was finally ready to get it going again I went straight to Yelp to find a mechanic I could trust. After reading reviews for a lot of different shops I chose to go with Arizona Motorcycle. Mike (the owner) met me out front and helped me take my bike off the trailer. He asked me a few questions and looked it over a bit. He was honest with me that things didn't look good and he couldn't be sure how much work it would take to bring it back to life. Mike and his mechanics run a VERY busy shop, but he was always ready and willing to answer my questions about how things were going. I was like an anxious dad nervously waiting to be told his baby was OK! I can honestly say that Mike treated my bike like it was his own! He knows what he is doing and his prices are exceptionally fair. But more important than that, he is trustworthy and he keeps your riding safety in mind whenever he's suggesting or making repairs! A specific example of Mike treating my bike like it was his own was that he found that the electrical controls on my handlebars were pretty corroded and causing problems with my electrical system. Any other shop would have likely ordered all new parts and charged me an arm and a leg for them. Instead, Mike cleaned the electrical connections up and it's all like brand new! My dad has been riding since the early '70's and he is also now a fan of Arizona Motorcycle. Mike tuned up his bike and treated my dad just as well as he treated me. My bike is running better now than it ever has before and I couldn't be happier! read more

I was referred to this place by a buddy of mine when I needed a new rear tire installed on my bike. I called them and scheduled a time to show up and I showed up about 5 minutes early. They immediately took my bike back and told me to come back in about 1 hour. I showed up about an hour later and my bike was waiting for me. They informed me I might want to plan on replacing my chain in the near future and they quoted me $80 to do it. I will be going back to them in 2-3 weeks for the chain and fork seals. I come from a family of cyclists (everything from Street Bob to scooters to Ninja 1000). I have been to every shop in the east valley. This is the ONLY shop I would recommend. I first came to them with my Honda Rebel 250 with a shifting issue that turned out to be a desperate carb replacement. About a month later, I had to come back for an oil leak I couldn't place and my plate mount being held up by bungee cords (something about engine size and vibration). He welded the mount, fixed the leak, and sent me on my way. A week later, the mount fell onto my tire and put this big gash. I was pretty annoyed (particularly since it broke at 110 degrees and I had to push it a mile). When I brought it back in, Mike took a look at it and showed me that his welds had held (another part of the mount had broken but not one he touched) but said he would pay for the new tire anyways and told me about this super complicated plan he had to hopefully fix the mount. These are really awesome guys who don't over charge you and get it in and out fast. 100% go now. read more

On Dec 31, 2011 we called Mike after finding him in Yelp and after calling all the big shops in Mesa, Chandler and Apache Junction to see if he had a front tire for our Honda 1300. Mike was polite and very professional to boot... some of the others seemed rushed to get us off the phone. Mike didn't have the tire in stock but ordered it for us after giving us the rundown on the different brands available and helping us pick an inexpensive but quality tire. He gave us the best price on the tire, mounting and balancing of all the shops we called. He said he'd have the tire the first week of Jan and would call us when it was in to schedule a time to change our tire out. He was very accommodating concerning the times we could bring the tire in and we appreciate that. So far I'm really happy with the professionalism of Mike and his shop. I went in for a rear tire change (rim off of bike, I provided the new tire). They took me in right away and $20 later, I was headed home with a newly installed and balanced tire. Mike and his team are amazing. My bike had been sitting out untouched for a year due to combination of hot sun and leather seats burning my ass and I thought that I would have to pay an arm and a leg to get it repaired. I had called a dozen other shops but Mike's professionalism and legitimate knowledge of his craft had me convinced.
