Their quote was fair and in the middle of 5 quotes. They came back out to final measure before placing the order for the solar sun screens. Once screens were completed the install went quick. There was 1 screen that the factory made too long. Not a problem ... they took it back and installed a new one within the week. I would highly recommend Eclipse!

I am a…read moremillennial who grew up with my grandmother's heavy drapery and I had never really explored modern options, so I am eternally grateful to the expert consultant who came out to speak to me about this window. He spoke to me about the space expectations for heavy drapery, as well as the maintenance requirements, and we quickly pivoted to other options. When he brought up the idea of a pull-down shade, I balked hard; my visions of those types of shades was outdated. We ended up choosing exactly what he suggested and I AM ECSTATIC! It took about four weeks to come in, the installer showed up right on time, and this is a blackout shade that looks so elegant and modern - I am thrilled. It rolls smoothly, and as it rolls down it seamlessly glides over the sliding glass door handle. I was envisioning something more clunky, something that protruded but this lays flat and truly blocks the light. The pricing was also very fair and competitive; they came in at far less than the Shade Store. I would go back to them for any window treatment needs, and recommend them to everyone!

His knowledge and his excitement to share his knowledge with us was so impressive, also the price he quoted us was very reasonable that we opted to have him do the job for us before we hung up the phone. We are happy and satisfied with Clay's recommendation. The new screen has increased the appearance of our house and, most importantly, it has kept our office where the screen was installed at least 10 degrees lower than our old screen has.

Wife and I found Arcadia via yelp on a whim while driving around Scottsdale and wanting to look at…read moreblinds and shutters after replacing all of our windows in our home. We stumbled upon Russel at the Arcadia shop who was instantly friendly, personable and extremely well versed in his products and their features - a great first impression and experience. We arranged an in-home measurement - Russel arrived on time and brought tons of great samples to choose from (my wife's favorite). We talked about practical matters (installation, remote controls, etc) and had fun talking about other interests we had in common, as if we were old friends. A day or so later he provided a detailed estimate that was right on the button for what we hoped to spend but also expected in terms of cost and value. Our project also included shutters - his recommendation was to repair and refurbish vs replace because our shutters were made of wood and were custom, and, he knew "the best guy in the Valley" who could do the job. This earned my respect because he passed up selling us new shutters (which he could have done for a profit) and instead saw the value in our existing shutters (value we could not see). He convinced us and that saved us potentially tens of thousands of dollars in our project (we had a quote from 5 yrs years prior to replace our shutters for $24k!!). Due to extenuating personal circumstances (a death in my family) we ended up going a different direction with our project, but we did use Russell's shutter repair recommendation, which was spot on and an excellent experience. I highly recommend Arcadia Blind & Shutter and of course, Russell, who knows his stuff, knows his business and was a joy to work with at every step along the way of our particular journey. You will not be disappointed.
