Process was great from start to finish. John came out and measured all the windows to prepare quote and was only 1 of 2 contractors that actually had a ladder (total of 5 contractors responded to request for quote). Their quote was fair and in the middle of 5 quotes. They came back out to final measure before placing the order for the solar sun screens. Once screens were completed the install went quick. There was 1 screen that the factory made too long. Not a problem ... they took it back and installed a new one within the week. I would highly recommend Eclipse! read more

A friend recommended Eclipse Window Coverings to me. I called and spoke to Matt. He worked with my busy schedule and was able to come to my home just two days later! He came with samples and recommended some colors to me that I was very grateful for; he's got a good eye for decor and prevented me from choosing the wrong color. He was friendly, professional, and courteous, and quoted me a price that was surprisingly inexpensive compared to some of the others I spoke to. He told me it would take 6 weeks for all my treatments to be done (they were all custom). I had the plantation shutters in the living room and master bedroom done, as well as honeycomb shades in a bedroom and bathroom. It was just after 5 weeks that I got a call from him to schedule an install date. We scheduled an install date and an arrival window. He came on a Sunday and did the install, which was great so I didn't have to take off work. I was REALLY impressed at that. He texted me with an ETA which was well within the timeframe we had previously discussed, which helped a lot so I knew when to put the dog outside. He and another guy John came to install. Both worked together very well, and were professional yet courteous and friendly. They obviously knew what they were doing; demolition and re-install didn't take very long at all and I'm elated with the results. I found Eclipse based on Yelp reviews, and they have lived up to the reputation. Matt, the owner, answered the phone himself on a Sunday afternoon, and then made time to come to our home for a same-day estimate. I knew little about blinds, and he answered ALL of our questions patiently. He helped us make an informed decision about what was best for our home with our priorities in mind (easy to clean, not too expensive, and durable). He is modest, but Matt is both experienced in window treatments and general home construction. He ordered the blinds, installed them ahead of schedule and in perfect timing for our baby's arrival. He even demonstrated the safety features of the break-away drawstring for child safety. He took his time and was very personable. I placed the order since his quote was the best of 3 I had gotten. When the blinds came in, Matt contacted me to schedule the installation. He and his assistant arrived on installation day on time and ready to get to work. It took them about two and a half hours to remove the old mini blinds and install new blinds on 18 windows. We had moved into our new home right before the summer and did a few projects with the blinds being the last one on the list. Our house was extremely difficult to stay cool and we were using more A/C than necessary. We had our windows quoted by another company in the valley and shockingly they never showed up to install our blinds or return our calls/e-mails! He recommended honeycomb shades for our large windows and faux wood blinds for the rest of the rooms. He gave us a quote which was about 1/2 the price from the other company. If you could have seen the disaster of mini blinds in my place before having my plantation shutters installed you wouldn't even recognize my place. I got my whole house done for 1/3 of the price that I was going to get charged by Home Depot either doing the measurements myself or having a contractor come out.
