We specifically booked a luxury SUV to ensure enough space for our luggage. When we arrived right as the location opened, we were greeted by a customer service representative named Ana, who had actually just left us a message as we were walking in. Unfortunately, she informed us that the vehicle we reserved online was not available. While this clearly wasn't Ana's fault and appeared to be an issue with the company's online booking system, we were understandably stressed since our departure time was approaching and we needed a solution quickly. Ana immediately stepped in to help. She asked if a minivan would work for us and said she would do everything she could to find one, though she couldn't guarantee availability. We left the location to figure out a backup plan, and about 20 minutes later Ana called to let us know she had secured a minivan for us. She truly saved the day--and honestly saved the company from what would have been a very poor review due to the misleading online booking experience. Ana was proactive, kind, and solution-oriented, and she is absolutely an asset to this business. We are very grateful for her help.

At pickup, we went through the pre-inspection fairly thoroughly, which I appreciated because it felt like he actually cared about making sure we were on the same page before I drove off. Then, he offered to wash the car down and fill the tank to full before sending me on my way. They were very transparent about not having many cars on the lot, but still worked hard to help me out. The first car they got for me had a nail in the tire, so they quickly took care of it. Even though they were close to closing, they were kind, apologetic, and worked fast to get me into a different vehicle. They even helped me install my car seat and made sure everything was set before I left. After driving that vehicle for a few days, I realized it wasn't the right fit for me. I returned to the branch, and they switched me to a new car without any hassle. A few days later, the battery on that vehicle started acting up. Once again, they handled it immediately and got me into another car--this time, one that I really loved. When I went on vacation, I returned the vehicle and let them know I'd be back later that week since my own car was still in the shop. Throughout this entire process, the customer service has been excellent. A special shoutout to CJ, who has always been incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding. He--and the entire team--really go out of their way to assist customers and make sure everything runs smoothly. For this reason, you would think that they would not take reservations that begin at closing time. The next day, I called and asked if I could still receive a car with the originally quoted price. I assumed that since I arrived for my reservation the previous day, they would honor my original price. Instead, they said they could still give me a car, but quoted me a price of 3x more than my original reservation. All around a negative experience. Customer service needs to be improved.

I'm patiently waiting but it's going on an hour now. It's not fun, I'm hungry and it's hot! The staff seemed pleasant despite the transition. There is always congestion on the I-17S where it splits off to the 101 and yesterday, traffic came to a complete halt at the split and I was completely stopped when I was unexpectedly rear ended and that vehicle also struck the vehicle in front of me and there was a fourth vehicle rammed into the one that hit me. It was all kind of scary really. And since I don't have a vehicle now, my insurance was able to quickly get me a rental and sent me over to this Enterpise which is open on Sundays. I came in here at 9:10am and was helped quickly despite a few other people in front of me. Chris was at the counter and checked me in immediately and everything went smoothly. Another gentleman, Andrew, then walked me around to several vehicles and I was able to choose a rental similar to my own. Andrew checked me out quickly, and who knew that Enterprise also has internships and he was an ASU student about to graduate. Everyone here was amazing and I was out of the lot by 9:40pm! I was impressed with their immaculate service and thanks to my insurance and Enterpise for getting me on my way as quickly as I can despite the accident yesterday.

In and out in 10 min. You do have less selection and the cars are stored in a normal strip mall parking lot. I can't speak for coming here when it's the weekend or more packed. If you have your heart set on the car in your reservation, look elsewhere as the nature of these small locations is you basically just get what's available that day. Go to the airport location if you are very picky about your cars.

To try and avoid the usual issues, I even had an executive customer service representative (Laura S.) reach out to this locations manager two weeks prior to my rental to ensure everything was set. None of it mattered. I still arrived and was given a Ford Expedition instead. This has now happened multiple times with different hertz locations, so clearly reservations -- even with corporate involvement -- don't mean much at this location and others. The condition of the vehicle made it worse. It was dirty, worn, three different brand of tires and had over 60,000 miles on it -- not even close to what you expect when paying for that class of vehicle. Here's the part that really pushed it over the edge: I returned the vehicle to the airport location, and somehow I was charged a cleaning fee. That's right -- I was given a dirty vehicle and then charged as if I returned it that way. As an employee stated it's just big and dirt baked on by the Arizona sun. On top of that, trying to contact the location was a joke. Calls were being unanswered or immediately hung up. Between the wrong vehicle, poor condition, lack of accountability, and being hit with an unjustified cleaning fee, I'm done. I've already canceled multiple future reservations in 5 different cities and will be taking my business elsewhere. If you actually expect to receive the vehicle you reserved -- or even a clean one -- I would strongly suggest looking at other rental companies.
