They rented us a Rav 4 for over $700. We got into the car the struts you could feel were going bad. But the REAL issue was there was a safety light on the dashboard. We googled what the light meant; the light indicated that the air bags would not deploy in the event of a crash. We turned right around and thankfully got our month back. We were told they had taken it to the dealer and it was a faulty sensor. But was never shown proof this car was serviced. The inside of the car was dirty with leftover water bottles and food stains. The trip odometer was on so hide the actual miles on this vehicle. The man helping us was kind and understanding, and just trying to do a job and I get that. But they went right around and rented the car out AGAIN to someone else. I don't believe for one minute this car was serviced and a reputable company would not rent it out knowing there is a possible safety issue! read more

Unbelievable!! $400 for 3nights, 300 miles total trip! Car was trashed, had been keyed or takin off roads Let's not mention 128k mileage, Stickers on inside of back windows. Pretty sure they took a family members falling apart car (literally) to rent out for the weekend. Told don't worry about the check engine light, that it's due to gas cap.. get going a ways down the road to find we have to turn off air & roll down windows to prevent over heating. This is a complete scam. We thought we were getting a car from Sixt because the guy at the Sixt counter acted like they just kept cars at a different lot a mile away. That guy must be getting some kind of kickback. So on the way from the airport to the lot Rasty gives my dad his business card and says it's a different business called last resort rental company. Long story short we were given a dirty Toyota Corolla that he drove us from the airport in that has cigarette burns on the seats. I thought it was his personal vehicle. $444 for a week and you cannot return early or have to pay the whole amount. I tried to get my dad to not even leave the lot and say forget it we will get an Uber. Cars are not nice, price is outrageous. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I would have selected 0 stars if possible. This place is terrible. The service is god awful, the people who work here are extremely rude and have poor business skills. No wonder they work at this horrible company as I imagine they cannot find jobs elsewhere due to lack of knowing anything. This company HAS NO INTEGRITY. They go back on what they say and should not be trusted. The office is in terrible condition which reflects the quality of the vehicles they provide, which are also terrible. I easily could have purchased a vehicle on the street in better condition and for a cheaper price. NEVER! NEVER! NEVER!!!!!! This place was the absolute worst. They guy working there was probably the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. We had a crappy car with "hey f******" carved on the inside. The car was 100 bucks a days the only reason we didn't go anywhere else, was we didn't have a credit card. When we went to return it he started screaming at us about money. He saw I had money in my had to try and pay and grabbed it out and threw it at me. He then tried to scam us out of more money for cleaning fees (we had the car for like three days nothing was dirty). He was just trying to scare us to get more money. We eventually up and left. If I could give it less stars I would. Seriously save your time and money. I have never had a worst experience at a business. Edit: it's been days since we have been in and they are still trying to rob us of money. We paid them in cash and woke up a huge charge (couple hundred bucks) claiming cleaning fees and damages. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! This place is called Last Resort for a reason. They bailed us out of a 3+ hour wait at the airport with another bad company, but that's the reason they even got one star. They then charged me over a hundred dollars more than what we agreed to. Flat tire a couple days in, tire is unfixable, can't use the spare after two tire companies have refused to put it on do to liability with the lack of tread. I've been told it's my responsibility to figure out the tire. I've been told to Uber the tire to a tire shop and that I would be charged for replacing the tire. I should have waited in line the extra hour for the other company. Three different people and absolutely no answers and no help. read more

Rental process was quick, gentleman was helpful and nice, few small scratches on the car but it was newer and worked fine. We were grateful for their help. I went to Arizona on a trip and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get a rental car but I did some research and looked at different places and saw Last Resort and read their raving reviews. And when I arrived, it spoke for itself! I called them and I was able to ride over to the place and I spoke with Jim and he was as kind as can be. Paperwork wasn't a hassle at all. It should honestly take 5-10 minutes at most. Then I got to meet Rusty who had great service. He helped me with a good rate and sent me along my way with a beautiful Toyota Camry. The condition was in great shape, and I loved it more than my own car. As my time was running out and I didn't realize, legit last minute I was able to get an extension and it honestly saved me. He got back to me and told me that I would be able to have a few more days when really it's hard to get a car elsewhere. Even if you're younger than 25 and if you don't have a credit card, this is the place to go. You'll pay extra, but if you are needing a car, it's definitely worth it if you're traveling around from out of state :) Thank you guys! I will sure be back if I plan to visit again! read more

There are many things to say about the events which lead me to this hidden Last Resort (fitting and clever name). First I didn't have a credit card on me when attempting to secure a reservation so no keys, then I find a place to finally take a debit card without a 24hr period in advance. After visiting 3 previous rental places within the airport I got the run around for a good 20 mins at the before one of the most helpful & costumer service friendly people was doing everything in his power to rent me a car without breaking my bank & still keeping me in something I wanted. I got denied. Go figure. The gentleman at the airport rental was clearly bothered as he saw me for a good two hours running back & forth. He called over another man from a rental joint a couple miles from the airport. He was extremely respectful and offered me a ride to the joint which of course I took. I carry so before anyone opens up about TrUsTiNG StRaNGeRs I was prepared and on guard just in case. Fast forward to filing out & paying for the rental. I sent all the money for the rental to my grandmas card. It was 910 by this time, this man has a family to go to just as the rest of us. I knew to call it quits after that. He offered me another option but I wasn't able to accept on the count of it involved waking up people from sleep. I got an Uber & went back home as I came. He told me that he would offer me the same deal if I came tomorrow, he waited till my Uber got there even after attempting to convince him that I'd be fine alone waiting. Long story short, if you don't have insurance, aren't 25, and don't have a credit card this place did exceptional in trying so hard to help me. Me and my family had the pleasure of meeting Rasty! He was so welcoming and helpful even with our bags! He made sure we were able to get the type of vehicle we requested ASAP.
