Home made lentil soup to die for! I chose this for breakfast today.

Arlet has some of the greatest food! Today she surprised me with some homemade lentil soup. It is delicious! If you have a chance, stop by and get some fresh soup from arlet's café at the Crunch gym.

The food here was awesome! I have never had a better meal prep to go! I knew this food would be great because Arlet's family used to own this amazing restaurant named Sako's years ago! The moment I found out she had meal prep restaurant I knew there was no way it could be short of amazing! I love to workout and have a local, healthy fast option which is high quality and tasty! I am thankful this is in my neighborhood !

I've been coming to this gym for years, way before it was crunch and I'm happy to see Arlet has a cafe. She's an amazing person and very uplifting. The food is amazing and smoothies bomb. I try to get a protein shake/smoothie before I leave to fill me up and sustain me throughout the day. Today I invited my mom to a breakfast panini and it was beyond delicious. The wrap was spinach based and green which was very appeasing to the eye. The PBJ light was sweet and tasty. We felt very satisfied after and my mom was impressed with the quality of food. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu and switch up my smoothie selection.

Love this place. She is very nice and sweet lady . Her meal prep are just amazing. Perfection I say. The meat is just seasoned well , tender and juicy. The sweet potatoes are just wow. She have different varieties of food and She also make cookies and muffins and pancakes. Check out her cafe inside the Crunch fitness.

Arlet is a total badass! Not only does she workout hard, her food is delicious. Tried their breakfast wraps and shakes and they are delicious. They have pre-made lunches ready to go as well. Thinking about joining their meal prep service. Prices are definitely affordable. Thank you Arlet and Les for being so kind and awesome.

Love coming here after my workout. The people who own this are the sweetest and always provide good service. Also the food... GODAM! so good super recommend the panini wrap!

After a good workout I get me some Peanut Butter Protein Shake from Arlet's. It is incredibly refreshing and helps me keep going after the workout. I gave the Blueberry Protein Shake a try as well and boyyyy did it taste goooood!! They also have some to go lunches for people on the go. It's a well balanced meal and will consider when I have zero time to cook. The staff is friendly :)

I'm a peanut butter lover for sure & her peanut butter cookies or protein shake are so yummy. The owners are so sweet too, my daughter loves to say hi to Arlet and Leslie whenever she's on her way to day care

One of the best clean food spots I've ever come across, not just is it clean food.. the portions sizes are great, prices are reasonable and the meals are home made quality. I have some of the pickiest eaters for kids, and they absolutely love Arlet's food! This spot is a hidden gem, it's a MUST TRY if your goal is clean eating! Arlet herself was so patient with all my questions, welcoming, sweet and helpful... can't say enough great things about her and her restaurant.

Check this place out ! Definitely recommend, keep in mind it is located in a gym building , but I'm sure you could still visit the cafe without being a gym member. Anywho after a tireless workout I needed something to replenish my energy and give me a pick me up and this was definitely the place. I met the owners and they were lovely , they were very helpful and informative on which shake would best suit me and my friends. I ended up choosing the strawberry banana protein shake and it was great , I noticed they also sell healthy meal preps that I will look forward to trying in the future .

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

I got an omelette and it was fresh and light, but very small for the price and no bread included. Now for the rest, the service was appalling. Food came out quickly but after that we were barely checked on. We had to ask several times for things that we ordered and had to flag down the waitress to order a second drink and they took forever. We could understand that it was busy but the waitress never apologized or said anything like they were understaffed or anything. Also, we had a few questions about the menu and our drinks and the waitress would just say, "I think so?" or give a vague answer. She didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu at all. Maybe she was new, but clearly training was lacking. I don't think I'll be returning but since I see many reviews relating to service issues, hopefully management is able to address the deficit

There is a small seating area, and the seats weren't particularly comfortable, but the space seems intended more for a quick stop rather than a long sit-down meal.
