Many others noticed the pest and either left or tried to get the staff to handle it. What made it frustrating is that I've sat on the patio at Gus's literally four feet away dozens of times and have never seen a single pest. The pest presence here isn't just "being outdoors"--it's a clear management and sanitation issue that needs to be addressed. Decent spot for cheap drinks, but I wouldn't sit on the patio again until they get this under control and train staff on better customer recovery.

Her knowledge and recommendations made a huge difference and elevated the entire experience. The seafood tower also came with three delicious ceviches, each fresh, flavorful, and uniquely prepared. The mussels were another standout dish, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. To top it all off, the Lure Blonde on draft was excellent and paired wonderfully with the seafood. As amazing as the food was, the real reason I'm taking the time to write this review is Catherine. I don't normally leave Yelp reviews, in fact, this is my very first one but her service was so exceptional that I felt compelled to go out of my way and recognize her. Catherine was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about every item on the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. She anticipated our needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel welcomed throughout the entire meal. It's rare to come across someone who combines professionalism, personality, and hospitality so effortlessly. Great food gets people through the door, but exceptional service keeps them coming back. The new Hibiscus margarita sounded very intriguing so I got that. It was very good, a nice balance of tart and sweet. Since I generally need something to nibble on during happy hour/with cocktails, I got the fried onions - I'm an avowed hater of onions unless they are fried strings or caramelized into oblivion. These fit the bill perfectly. Note it's a huge portion so you don't have at least 2-3 other people you might be taking leftovers home! Haven't had in awhile, but they do have a very good veggie burger.
