    Eggs Benedict with lox
    Steve S.

This spot has great breakfast offerings. I love their Eggs Benedict with lox with a side of breakfast potatoes. The portions are generous and the hollandaise sauce on top of the eggs is delicious. I love the moment when the runny egg breaks against my fork, slightly mixes with hollandaise sauce and as they both soak up the english muffin and lox, I set up my fork for that perfect bite for me to indulge on. The mixture of flavor notes and different textures creates an awesome umami effect that your taste buds can really appreciate. The service is always great here, as the waitresses are attentive and smiling and the ambiance is one of a classic diner, with 20 some booths and a breakfast bar area with semi-open kitchen. For good vibes and good breakfast or lunch, this is the spot to go to. Will definitely come again!

Wow! Came here on a rainy rainy Saturday morning. There was a wait outside the door. That's how you know the food must be good. We went inside and put our name down. The place was packed. We really thought it was going to be a long wait. We only waited maybe 10 minutes. We got sat towards the back. I cannot remember the server's name, but she was very patient with us and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She made a couple of recommendations and they did not disappoint. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon and my husband had the green chilaquiles with steak. Both came out pretty quickly. Both were very delicious and tasted very fresh. We left very satisfied. We would definitely come back.

If I could I would eat here everyday. Large scramble #3 is always my go to. It's the homemade salsa that really puts it over the top. My order is always cooked exactly to my request. I love Nat's for the in house made salsa, jam, muffins and sausage. Cindy was our server today. Always sweet and always helpful. Sherman Oaks is closer but Nat's West has better parking and seems roomier. Booths and tables are a little dated but clean. There's nice mural and decor on the walls.

This place is a hidden gem. The service is amazing, all the waiters/waitresses are energetic and friendly; they are on the move refilling your coffee cup. Oh! And the food is great. I had an omelette with fruit. The omelette was delicious and the fruit was fresh. This is my new breakfast spot.

Came here in a group of 2 on a Saturday afternoon, there was a little wait but we only waited for about 10 minutes to be seated. This was that classiccccc diner experience that I've been missing! Bustling and chatty atmosphere, really great place for families for sure. I ordered a spicy Mexican scramble dish and if you look at the photo, you can see that serving size is HUGE - it was enough for me to have 2 days of leftovers! And it was SCRUMPTIOUS. Loved that hint of spice and it was such a balanced scramble - no singular ingredient heavily overpowered the other. Parking here was free and for 3 meals and 3 drinks, we paid a bit over $65 - a good bang for your buck FOR SURE!

Corned beef hash and scrambled eggs with cheese, home fries, sourdough toast

Loved the classic diner vibe at Nat's! Corned beef hash was really good and my partner liked her omelette as well. Coffee was strong and kept coming, which is my favorite part of any diner breakfast. The blueberry muffin was really good, moist and full of blueberries, just how I like it! Overall, great experience, good service, I'll be back for sure! Small additional charge (3.5%) for using card so I'm glad I had cash.

I normally never leave reviews for restaurants, but I feel like I have to this time because our waiter was the rudest and most irresponsible server I've ever had. In front of us, there were two older white men, and he kept going to their table, smiling, and asking if they needed anything. For us, he never once did that. He never asked if we wanted anything, never checked if we wanted refills, and when we were done eating, he saw our empty plates but didn't bring us the check. When he finally came around, I gave him my card, and instead of returning, he sent another person to bring us the bill. I honestly believe it was because we were two young people, me and my brother, and also because we're Mexican. Meanwhile, he treated those two white men much better, as well as bigger families around us. Even the cups we were given were dirty. Maybe he assumed we wouldn't leave him a tip, which is why he was "kissing up" to other customers. But the truth is, we were going to tip until he treated us so horribly. In the end, I did not leave him one. We waited 20 to 25 minutes just to get our receipt, and he still didn't even have the decency to bring it back himself. If you need to know who he was, it was specifically a chubby guy with slicked back hair and a tattoo on his forearm.

Local popular greasy spoon. We are slowly exploring breakfast and brunch options around our new house. While I prefer a slightly more sophisticated brunch, sometimes you just want a stick-to-your-ribs good old fashioned breakfast. If that's your jam, head straight to Nat's. We stuck with traditional breakfast options for our first visit. Eggs Benedict and a pancake combo breakfast. Both were tasty. The wait was looooong for a table, so we chose to sit at the counter, since there were seats available.

After 3yrs from my last review. Nats came back after pandemic and brought back the good service to the customers. Food was amazing. Well flavored and seasoned evenly without rush. They have kept their reputation back in the top and providing good freshly made and cook food and service. Inside is always clean. 'm very impressed and it it back in my go to place once again.

Finally had the chance to have a nice brunch at this location. It's tucked away on Topanga near Roscoe, across from Chick Fil A. It's a small little place with some parking so it can get busy. When I went it was packed but the wait was short. Service was good and the food came out quick. I got the corned beef hash and eggs with hash browns and a muffin. They had a list of muffin flavors and I chose coffee cake. Food was delicious and bountiful. Def recommend.

They must have recently completed an interior/exterior renovation finally, it's about time! One of the reasons why I was ordering is cause I couldn't stand being inside. My experience yesterday dining-in was a better environment. However, the place was practically empty. I'm pretty sure I know the reason why. It cost me $69 for a half sandwich soup combo, and half a pastrami sandwich with a side of chopped liver, and a hot tea. The tea plate was very thoughtfully appointed: hot water container, cup, honey, lemon, and a good quality teabag, served on a stone plate. My half pastrami sandwich was quite divine, the Ryebread was very fresh, but there was a little bit too much fat on the pastrami. The coleslaw was a little bit on the older side. And the chopped liver matched the expression on the waitresses face, it also was served without any bagel chips, crackers, or rye bread, nor was I asked if I wanted any of those items as typically you spread chopped liver on something! Their napkins are literally like using rough bad paper towels. I believe their utensils are oversized. My guest was extremely doted on, the waitress said that she was making it a half sandwich and soup combo, but I don't think that's what I was charged. How can two half pastrami sandwiches, a bowl of lentil soup, and a small scoop of chopped liver with a cup of tea come to $69??? My experience coming here in all my years is that the place was extremely packed- any time I came. Even my next-door neighbor who lived on the block for over 50 years would come here weekly. They used to have almost the best matzoh ball soup on the planet, not so much anymore they've changed the formula. The matzoh balls used to have flavor and be soft. I make a mean matzoh ball soup, and when I'm not feeling well, I used to buy it from here to nurse me back-to-health- Nature's remedy. But not so much anymore. their chicken soup had become the price of liquid gold. The UGLY: this is an older Edited Review unposted from 4 yrs ago: This review is specifically for the so-called manager that refused service to me (who knows maybe he's not there anymore?) this morning after I had already paid for the order. When I told him I would be leaving a bad review he said he would be removing it!! I've been a Customer at this restaurant for over (28 years). I placed an order through the UberEAT app to be picked up at the store for my lunch today. Despite having a receipt that the items were paid for there was no order for me to pick up at the restaurant. When I asked to place another order as I was running late for work, I needed my lunch, the manager was going to charge me more money than I had paid on the app!!! And then finally told me that he's not placing the order for me that I can do it through the app!! He also refused to give me his name. Hopefully that person doesn't work there anymore. If so, buyer beware, stick to ordering directly with the restaurant to save yourself a nightmare!!!! this guy, if he's still there, sent a 32 year old customer away from the store without any lunch and made her late for work!!!!!!!!

Total Reverse Catfish - in the best way…read more As a lifelong Valley girl, I'm going to be completely honest: I wasn't expecting much from this shopping strip location. I thought it'd be a tiny hole-in-the-wall, but **Main Kitchen** completely blew me away. It's actually a huge, vibrant corner space (looks like 3 to 6 combined spots) covered in colorful paintings. The atmosphere is immaculate. Plus, as an elder Millennial girly, the playlist was hitting *so* right--it was 9:00 AM and we were jamming to music straight off my own Spotify Wrapped. The food is a total "reverse catfish" because it is way more visually stunning and delicious than the website photos let on. It just seemed like a lot of the things were housemade, and you can really taste the quality in everything: * **Chicken & Waffles:** They didn't have any bone-in chicken today, so they actually served me the boneless chicken breast (which I think originally goes with the chicken and pancakes). But honestly? If you can substitute it for the boneless breast, DO IT. Way better, no messing around with bones, and hello, protein goals! It's a perfectly flattened, crispy chicken breast served over a waffle sprinkled with bacon bits. They added a little drizzle of maple syrup and what seemed to have a little bit of a thing like peach bits--I'm not 100% sure because I didn't give it enough time to sit on the plate to find out, I was just eating it all! It was so delicious. * **Tiramisu French Toast:** My friend and I literally had to pause and give it a moment of silence. We were just in absolute awe. * **Chilaquiles:** My friend is a total chilaquiles connoisseur, and she declared theirs the *best she has ever had*. To top it all off, the service was fantastic. Our server, Donovan, was so attentive and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed--we just really appreciated his great service! I believe this is a woman-owned small business, and the owner herself was actually the chef cooking for the morning! It is the ultimate spot for a Sunday morning brunch meetup or a big group. 5 out of 5 stars--I already can't wait to go back. Go visit Main Kitchen!

The deli sandwiches, pesto chicken panini, and vegetarian wraps were all incredibly fresh and generously filled with high quality meats, cheeses, and perfectly baked bread. Each sandwich had its own unique dressing, which elevated the flavors to another level: bold, well balanced and anythng but ordinary. The potato salad and mac n' cheese salad were creamy, rich and full of flavor, making them the perfect savory side dishes that trully complemented the meal. The fresh fruit and salad platters were impressive on their own: vibrant, crisp and prepared with top quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. MKBG catering is delicious, satisfying and a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Highly recommended for any event!
