Had our grandson's birthday here. It was great. With the amount of food and playing bowling and the way it was all set up, it was just perfect. And we had about 18people all attend and play bowling and we even added nachos and macaroni poppers that were huge portions. We had extra food left over and it was literally around two hundred dollars. Same party at Bowlera was prices at 526.00! So worth it had a blast service was great, would highly recommend it. read more

The worst place to bowl. The bowling balls kept getting stuck. Staff didn't care they were snippy. I paid for 2 hrs and only played 1 maybe less because of the balls getting stuck. When I asked for my refund for the hr I didn't pay, the girl pointed to the sign that said no refunds. There's a reason they have that, many people asking for refunds. I've seen reviews with the same problem and the owners response is "thank you for your feedback, we'll look into this issue". Obviously he doesn't care. Never going back there and I hope they shut them down. read more

Ok , I see why this has only limited stars , I didn't read the reviews . Maybe it was the clientele that came in there and the staff , and the equipment . The overall place was clean . I called before coming the staff didn't mention , I could only play one game on the phone , before they cleared the lanes to shut down a hour prior to cosmic bowl . Second, during this time stressed 35 minutes with kids the balls were stuck every time because I'm assuming the very limited small finger hole six pound ball wasn't heavy enough to return . Hence , making it hard to continue to play . So had to use a heavier ball ending in the gutter still not returning . So having to keep telling staff not letting. Finish then they close the snack bar for drinks at this time for thirsty kids we were to busy trying to finish the game , then the bar guy said he was on break and had to wait so I did then wouldn't take a card it was a minimum ten dollars well I spent that in the whole place so my kids were thirsty . No drinks . I waited for his 20 minute break to tell me that ! playing pool with drunk chicks hitting balls off tables close to our heads out of control to hear that it's there policy so I was done ! This , while they take and hold one of my cards at the front desk with a world full of fraud ! I felt so safe NOT !! I didn't enjoy my night at this place they had one employee with very dark hair not the main cashier but another girl who's the only one who had it together and the security guard ! I took my 2 year-old son to the bowling alley just him and I and we were both equally ecstatic to be there for the first time. We get our lane and probably no more than three rolls in the manager Michelle comes and says that I need to have my son be closer to me. I was taken back because he was not running around he was not having any behavioral problems he was excited he was doing a little dance he went over to the next lane slightly but I grabbed him and brought him back so for her to make that comment was very shocking especially that early on. The game continues I try to let that go and the people next to us, these want to be professional bowlers that have been giving us looks since we got there, send over a lady that comes up to me and asks me if when her husband goes up if we can hold back because he's a big bowler and he needs room like I'm supposed to just be accommodate these people? Alright I do so I'm not trying to cause a scene I'm already irritated I told her if she was the one to complain she should've just told me she said she wasn't it was clear she was whatever. I later see Michelle and these people talking so this was clearly a discriminatory situation. Despite this incident with these entitled people my son still had a very good time and I just hope next time a manager is smart enough to not put a family next to leaguers or suggest to the leaguers they buy extra lanes if they need that much room. read more

Alright I see many negative reviews. And some are completely justified. I mean this bowling alley is located in an area that isn't all that great. Late at night be aware of transients in the parking lot or walking by. That being said the inside of the bowling alley is well-kept. The lanes are in good condition and same with the balls. Overall the place is clean inside. Restrooms are a little dirty. The bowling experience in and of itself is great! The score board is a little confusing to add bowlers names but once you get it going your off and having fun. Plenty of balls with different weights. Our ball got stuck once and one of the staff members came to help us. He was very prompt. Now the food is a different story... The food is pretty subpar. Similar to most bowling alleys it's overpriced and tastes pretty bland. I've tried the pizza, cheese fries, cookies and mozzarella sticks. All were just okay. Very mediocre. So I'd suggest eating beforehand or bringing in your own food. Also there is a bar. The bar usually has a pretty long line and service is slow. So be prepared to put your game on hold to grab a beer. Or plan ahead and get your drinks before you start. Pretty standard pricing for alcohol, about $5 for a beer. My favorite part about this bowling alley is the cosmic bowling. I've done regular and the cosmos here and the cosmic is cheaper and wayyy more fun! You pay $15 per person and that includes the shoe rental. You get to bowl for 3 hours from 10:00PM 1:00AM. The lights go down and the music is cranked up. Colors everywhere and tons of fun!!! read more

Customer service is the worst . We paid for 2 hours of bowling and had to wait about 45min all together for them to keep returning our balls because they got stuck . A couple of times we were reimbursed for our time but not every time we had to wait. Assuming it was a supervisor who came to talk to us was extremely rude and said we were lying about the time we spent waiting. Will not be coming back to bowl. Only good thing about this place is the bar and bartender. read more

We came here for a family night with my husband's company's vendor. I used to live in Riverside many years ago and was on a league here. I love the renovation. The staff was friendly and good drink prices at the bar. I remember coming here as a teenager/younger adult with all the cool arcade games in the game room. AWFULLY SLOWWWW SERVICE...especially if you've paid for timed bowling, seriously!! Bowling balls get stuck often and it's frustrating when you have to let the service counter know because you'll already know it'll be a long while before it resets. Also, when there's another team playing on the lanes beside you and you don't know who they are, you might be switching lanes with them if it's setup that way by the service counter. Frustrating... Other than that the drinks at the bar are pretty good and the bartender is fun and pretty cool! The food counter could only take CASH ONLY. I didn't want to pay a fee at the ATM just to buy a hot dog that would've costed me the same amount as the ATM fee so I waited for the gang to finish bowling and headed out for TGIFridays... read more

Yes, the lanes are a bit drier than other bowling centers, but as a bowler I can tell you, they're definitely playable. The staff take care of the lanes and the approaches, actually cleaning them (not just sweeping, actually cleaning) prior to league play. Staff are young, but friendly. New pro-shop is very friendly and knowledgeable. We just had a party here, and they were very attentive, sweet, and fun! While other bowling centers are pricing leagues out in favor of quick parties, Arlington is welcoming them. While other bowling centers are remodeling with an ergonomic design intended to get people OUT of the center, Arlington is a welcoming place. read more

If you're not part of their league don't even bother. They pander to league and only open less than half the lanes if it's slow. Staff is nice but not why the management chooses to turn away a majority of patrons. Bowlero is more expensive but you have a better chance of playing. read more

Arlington lanes is a fun filled place for a night out with the family, a cute fun date, or just a hang out sesh with friends. Arlington lanes is perfect for multiple occasions. When you first walk in, you'll notice that the alley is really clean and the associates who work there are real polite. Arlington lanes has to be one of my favorite bowling spots to bowl at. Mondays are 2.00$ games. Which is great!! I just went on Sunday and I spent 40$ for 4 shoes, 4 people and 2 hours of bowling. Sounds great if you ask me. I'd definitely recommend you make this your new bowling spot. I don't even live in the area, (I live about 35min away) and any chance I get, I gladly made the drive to that alley. I've learned a couple of things coming here. The reviews are completely wrong. Sure the snack bar is a little slow or the arcade being bad. Yet you go to bowl the front desk is amazing great service i could care less that they take a while at the snack bar but i would like my food cooked? I love this place it's my home alley and i will continue to spend my money here than going to a bowlero. The prices are amazing the owner is great. DONT GET ME STARTED TO ON THE PRO SHOP! Pretty disappointed. We came here today with our kids, ages 3 1/2 and 5, first time bowling. Had fun bowling. At 3:54 pm, I ordered two beers, two small drinks, and a large pepperoni pizza. The girl at the counter told me they were about to go on break. She asked if I still wanted a pizza. I replied, "Well, the only way for me to get a pizza is after your break?" She said, "Yes." So I told her to go ahead and put an order in for the pizza. The problem is that I assumed the break was 30 minutes. It was never told to me the break was a hour. We rented our lane by the hour. At the end of our hour of bowling, the snack bar staff finally came back. By that time, we just decided to be done and get a refund on our pizza (kids were starving). They told us no refunds, so we decided to wait for our pizza since we had no choice. At an hour and five minutes, (I set my stopwatch when I ordered food), they started calling names for food orders that were ready. At 1 hour, 28 minutes, we still had no pizza. We paid $15 for a pizza we never got. We left, went across the street and ate at Capones. I guess we will go to Bowlero next time. "No refund" even if you don't get the food you ordered. read more

Okay I completely do not share the same experiences or views as my fellow yelpers for Arlington Lanes. We had nothing but a fantastic experience! Planning a kids party is no easy task especially when you're busy and don't have the energy to host in your home so close to the holidays. I called Arlington Lanes to ask about packages and spoke to Danielle. She was awesome. She explained everything and spent her time with me. I finally decided on the party package which is $12.99 per person which includes bowling and shoes for an hour and a half, one pizza and two pitchers of soda for every eight bowlers, decorated table area, balloons, and a party assistant during your party. So worth it! The attention to detail that the team takes made my 11 year old happy and the fam had a great time. When we got there everything was set up and ready to go. All we had to do was write all the bowlers names down and they program everything in for you. Who doesn't want the easiest set up ever?! They time the food to come out perfectly during bowling and there are other options to add when you get there such as nachos and other goods. I have to also mention the pizza. It was dang good! Don't come here! Turn around and don't look back. We came for the galaxy bowl 2 hours of bowling. In the first half hour we had to get the attendant to come twice for balls stuck in the gutter and pins stuck in. Then the last hour the sweeper kept coming down before the ball got to the pins! They tried to say if the ball is moving slow it will come down. But 1) no it shouldn't. 2) the ball is moving fast and 3) don't give me attitude! Rude! Great spot to come bowling, and an ample game room with air hockey, and video games for the munchkins. There is also a decent size snack bar off to the right (as you enter), but accepts CASH ONLY. This problem can be avoided by asking for cash back as you pay for your games and shoe rentals with your plastic card. The handicap access to the lanes is on the far left near the restrooms, where they also have a side entry door at the East wall. If you come during the day you will see a league or two filling up half the bowling lanes, but this is also the time to get the best deals on your bowling games. So I came here with my friends on a Saturday night. It wasn't packed at all. Price was 14.00 unlimited bowling including shoes from 10pm- 1pm. They give you a wristband or else you can't enter the bowling area. Security there is lame. Someone from the other lane threw a ball into our lane by accident and it was stuck in the lane so we just kept bowling. Security came up and said we needed to call customer service & she was not listening to our friend about it not being our fault. She should of called customer service herself but she said it wasn't her job. So we called customer service and it took them forever to get there. I was getting impatient and I was going to go nuts if they took longer because they wasted about 10-15 of our time for bowling. Oh and the girl that helps you at front was not a happy camper. WaHooOo. It's bowling timeeeeeee! Ook ok, I don't love bowling that much (mainly because I'm not that good), but I do enjoy playing a game or two. I use to come here back in the days for Rock and Bowl and Hop and Bowl. From what I can remember, it gets crazy pack. And believe it or not, they still have it too. Awesome! I came here on a Wednesday and it was League Night. It was not crowded at all and many of the lanes were open. It is $3 per game/ per person OR $16 per hour. Come here on Mondays because it is $2 per game after 6pm. What a deal! But these leaguers are good. Made my bowling abilities look horrible. Haaha. read more

We got there at 10 PM on a Saturday night and finally were able to pay at 10:35..The line at the bar was outrageous and there was only one staff member for each area. Only came here because I had purchased a Groupon for 6 people with shoe rental for 2 hours. Made a reservation for 3:30pm on a Friday. Arrived at 3:25pm and the line was out the door. Didn't get checked-in with our shoes until 3:50pm. And they said we could only bowl until 5:30pm due to a league arriving at 6pm. So, didn't get the whole time I paid for. The metal thing that comes down (I'm NOT a bowler lol) kept getting stuck and they kept having to walk down the lane and fix it. We only ended up bowling a game and less than a half of another game. Also, not enough space for everyone to sit and wait their turn?! Wondering if they keep a "junky" lane for Groupon users? Won't return. Bowlero is closer to our house and nicer. read more
