A CASINO 4 KIDS! I mean that in the best way possible! John's Incredible Pizza is a kid's daydream with pizza, bumper cars, drop rides, and loads of arcade games! I visited with my students during a Summer field trip and they had an absolute blast! I appreciated how calm and supportive the staff were at this location. I came with both general and special education students, I can proudly say they all felt right at home. Thank you John's for your inclusive and fun atmosphere. I have to give a massive shoutout to the staff for keeping the restrooms clean during our visit. We had well over 100 students & staff and the restrooms were in decent shape. I was super impressed with the all-you-can-eat buffet, I felt like I was in Vegas with the sizable pizza offerings from supreme to sausage/pepperoni and specialty items like chicken alfredo and hawaiian. I'm also a fan of their crust options, they had both thin and rising crust. I tried both and they were equally delicious. John's has a great amount of drink options like coffee, icee, name-brand soda, and tea. I never felt thirsty! The desserts were a bit dry and old, I only liked the soft-serve. My kiddos loved their fun cards which are used to swipe at each arcade game or activity instead of inserting tokens. It's an easy to use system and we hardly had any glitches. When it was time to cash out and see how many e-tickets we accumulated, all we had to do is swipe our card at the entrance of the prize counter line. After doing so, it would tell us our amount of tickets acquired. I'm an adult and I already want to come back! I loved the theme rooms. I want to try the "hall of fame"(sports room) room and adult room, I guess they serve alcohol here too? My students and I tried the "toon room" and they enjoyed watching Bluey while enjoying their meal.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This is much better than.Chuckie Cheese. The buffet was well stocked with many differet selections. The place was really clean for having so many kids around. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The staff was on top of cleaning so the tables never stayed dirty longer than a couple minutes. They wanted to be sure the patrons were done with there meals. The different theme rooms were great. The camping room, Fusion room, cartoon or kids room. Each room had a theme and the decor was awesome. Again, each area was clean. The games were fun (some did not work well) to be expected with kids banging on them all day. But overall a great experience. I highly recommend this location for kids parties or just to take them for the fun of it with the whole family. We will definitely be back.

We had an 8th birthday on 4/26 for my daughter here. We chose this location over Montclair as there always seems to be games that take your points and no one around to help so getting credit back just takes forever. We didn't have that issue at Riverside so im so happy. We had a large group over 55 come and everyone enjoyed their time. I like how they charge a room minimum so I got some money back for people that didn't show up. The managers were great checking us in and super friendly and smiling. In the room we had Amy, Alexandra and Dalilah and Sam helped. It was nice they went to each kid asking if they wanted a balloon animal so no one was left out. And they kept the party on track. It is hard with a big group so the time came and gone but we stayed and played after the party at the tables and it was perfect! Really a great place once the kids are a little older like 7 and up id say. Older kids enjoyed it also and the adults got there grub on with the buffet. Win win. Thank you for a special day!

Had so much fun this past Sunday for my sons 3rd birthday. What started off as a really stressful day turned into a memorable fun night. I had originally booked my party in Montclair and they called me 30 minutes before my party started and informed me that they had a power outage. The manager at Montclair thankfully moved the party to riverside, & when I got there we were accommodated and taken care of! I didn't get the managers name but she was so kind and absolutely amazing for helping us out with the unusual and stressful circumstance. She eased my anxiety and made the process seamless, with her quick problem solving skills, and patience, & I thank her for going above and beyond to make sure my vision came to life and my sons party turned out exactly the way I wanted. I appreciated this as I spent lots of money on my own decorations, and planning this for weeks. It was a major inconvenience for the party to be moved as we had to drive an hour away and our time slot had to be moved up, but nonetheless we still made it happen and that's all I cared about. Our party host was so sweet! Melissa was amazing and made the kids ballon animals kept the party running on time, and played fun games w the kids. Her shift ended so then we also had Jocelyn for our party host she was great as well. Overall staff was friendly and had amazing customer service skills! I'm beyond happy with the service from every staff member I encountered honestly. They helped me set up everything, cleaned up afterwards and brought pizza and drinks to the room for the littles and everything else we needed like plates, forks, a lighter for the cake, serving utensils. Everyone loved the party and it was beyond amazing! The food was also bomb, We stayed all night until closing. Thank you to your amazing team and staff riverside! 6 stars

We came here again for my son's birthday. We all really enjoy it here. The food is great. The service is fantastic. The specialty spicy peanut butter pizza (I know it sounds so wrong and weird, but it is amazingly unique and good) was empty and I asked an attendant if she could make some and she told me yes and made it right then. Our attendant in the themed dining area we were seated at was the true epitome of what fantastic customer service looks like in action. His name is Hippie (Hippolito - sorry if I got the spelling wrong) and he cleaned our tables often. I asked him if he could turn down the blasting tv volume and did it no problem. He is always accommodating, flexible, and friendly with a great attitude. This is a great place to hang out (we were here eating and playing board games for almost 3 hours) and enjoy each other's company over some good always fresh buffet food.

From room looking out- we added our own balloon decos.

We had my son's 3rd birthday here with family and it was a good experience! Nubia was our host and she was super kind, detailed, on top of things and friendly with the kids. This place is great to let your littles run around- not unsupervised, mine were 3 and 4, but older ones can get set loose. Food is decent and great that's is open for no wait or anything. They do serve beer which was a plus with the men in our group, but that's not open! Would definitely recommend for events, both kids and adults. Only issue, if you even want to call it that, is the front kept sending our group to the wrong room... and the room was really warm, maybe that's how they get you to leave lol...otherwise had no complaints.

Spicy Peanut Butter pizza ... it's a no from me dawg, lol

We were greeted by energetic staff who asked us which package we would take. Naturally the 24 hole golf is included and decided on the escape room option. There are two options, one alien themed and the other pirate themed. We went with the Alien 51 themed one since the pirate one was in use. After a short video we had a 10 minute time limit to solve the puzzle. It's quite straight forward but quite a thinker at times. We were able to solve it with little time to spare. Me and my friend had a great time figuring it out and will gladly return to see the other offering down the line. Onto the main course, the mini golf! The courses are laid out in a way that guides you along each hour in order. Each course has its own theme ranging from a Dia de Los Muertos themed one to one with the great wall of China serving as a ramp. It was definitely a vibe and we had a blast. Some holes scale up in difficulty while others are quite straight forward. Overall this was a great time and excellent way to spend time together with a friend.

Especially if you have KIDS! There's a feast to the recreational senses when you enter. I immediately gravitated towards the claw games. Note, the claw games are tough, I had to look up YouTube strategies and I still only ended up with a small prize from a smaller crane. I'll be back soon for Kaito's friends! If you're big on crossovers, Round One is constantly partnering with big names like Holo Live and other anime brands/titles. Sanrio is another major contributor, some plushies and prizes are even exclusive to Round One! I spotted cups, keychains, and much more. Now, Round One also offers bowling, karaoke, 99 cent ice cream, and arcade games. Thankfully, I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't bad at all. No one was hogging up the activities and people were civil. I thought the experience was quite calming and sobering. Usually there are instructions showing how items should be positioned in the machines, but this time there were only reference photos inside the machine. I asked an employee if they could reposition an item (something I've never had an issue with before), and the interaction felt pretty rude. They told me, "You shouldn't look at the reference photos, those are for employees." They attempted to reposition the item, but honestly just placed it back in basically the same spot, so it didn't help at all. It was disappointing because I used to enjoy coming to this location. I don't think I'll be returning since I don't want to feel like I'm inconveniencing staff just by asking for help.

We were told this was due to employees calling out on a Friday, but as a guest, especially one celebrating a child's birthday, it was frustrating to pay for the experience and not have access to everything. On top of that, they were filming promotional content during park hours, which also took away from the guest experience. That kind of filming should really be done before opening or after closing so families who paid to be there can fully enjoy the park. I really wanted this to be a fun and memorable birthday outing, but the lack of available rides, long waits despite the park being nearly empty, and the promo filming made the visit feel unorganized and disappointing.

If the whole place runs by itself without the need of physical money, how would they even know who's playing the 30min package or the 1hr? If they use a prepaid players digital card, then a chaperone wouldn't be needed if we can't play the games anyway. We don't know anyone there or wouldn't need to cheat to play for free from others. We went bowling, bought snacks, shoe rental and spent an additional $132 on 4 game cards with convenience fee. Bowling was fun although we had to ask an attendant to remove the bumpers. They appeared to be on all lanes and was a very intense process to get them off. Also we had a wonderful snack attendant who served us initially when we got there. I did not catch her name but she had long braids and suggested a pitcher of soda for our family as a better value than 4 standard drinks. I do want to stress that this is a cashless business and I do not support digital only businesses. I purchased summer bowling passes for my teenagers for a killer deal but am concerned on how they will be able to purchase snacks if I'm not there with my credit card but I believe there's a machine that converts cash into card. I'm not certain if that's what I heard. They had a lot of fun games for all ages to play. Beware as per usual to most Arcades with the exception of D&B's in my opinion it's going to take several $100's if not $1000's of dollars to obtain a decent prize. Unless you win jackpots. My boy's plan to save their tickets until they can get Something they want. There were a-lot Of teenage congregant's as usual to any arcade. Both visits had the same issue: the group next to us had no sense of bowling etiquette, and it was never addressed by staff. Their parties were oversized and ended up spilling into our space sitting in our seats, placing drinks on our table, and generally taking over the shared area. On top of that, their kids repeatedly came over to our lane, touching our tablet and interfering with our game. It made it really hard to enjoy what we paid for. What made it worse is that both times, the groups next to us were visibly drunk. That kind of environment might be expected at a bar, but when it starts impacting other guests' experience especially families it becomes a problem. There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight.
