Like most families, we were not prepared for her passing, and on top of our grief, we had no idea where to begin when it came to arranging her services. We spoke with several funeral homes that had been recommended to us, but unfortunately, many seemed more focused on "closing the deal" and increasing the balance than helping a grieving family. We do not have an unlimited budget, and the experience left us feeling overwhelmed. By the grace of God, we found Dr. Zacharias at MiraLago Funeral Home in Riverside. From the moment he greeted us, we felt at ease. His calm demeanor, patience, and genuine compassion immediately reassured us that we were in the right place. He never rushed us or pressured us. Instead, he took the time to explain every step of the process, from costs and options to helping us locate a cemetery plot where my mother-in-law wished to be laid to rest. Not only were his prices significantly more affordable than the other places we visited, but he also guided us through obtaining the death certificate and answered every question we had along the way. He patiently worked with multiple family members, each with their own requests and concerns, and was always available whenever we needed him. Based solely on the stories and memories we shared about Paula, Dr. Zacharias was able to create the most beautiful service we could have hoped for. He honored her life with dignity, grace, and love, all while keeping the arrangements within a budget our family could manage. During the services, emotions ran high, but Dr. Zacharias had a remarkable way of putting everyone at ease. By the end, it felt as though he had been a member of our family for years. We will be forever grateful for the care, compassion, dignity, and honor with which he treated our beloved Nanna. He cared not only for her memory, but for our family as well during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Thank you, Dr. Zacharias. You now have an extended family in us. God bless you, my friend. Respectfully, Frank & Stephanie

Words cannot explain how thankful and grateful I am for their help and guidance. The service was beautiful as well as his burial. My goal for laying my husband to rest with the dignity, respect, and honor he deserved was done with the help of MiraLago. They also helped me with his Mass and obtaining a florist in such short notice. Prices were so reasonable, in such unexpected things happening it was a blessing. I recommend to anyone who needs a mortuary and services to definitely pay them a visit. You will not regret it. There such kind, empathetic individuals who will do their best to lay your loved one to rest with the love and care they deserve. Special thanks to Dr. Z and Daniel for everything! I couldn't have accomplished such a beautiful and peaceful send off without your help!

What a year we'd already had and then losing him just after Christmas was just the worst year end event for the family. My wife and mother in law found Acheson & Graham. They made it very easy. I worked with the staff the day of the service to set up the outdoor service (COVID restrictions were adhered to). They were very helpful and accommodating trying to make the service as perfect as possible for my mother in law and wife. They were able to have an outdoor canopy since we had rain today. They had power a few hundred feet from the main facility so we were able to play music and a slide show in the tent. They helped with the setup/decorating and the tear down; even hauling our personal items to the truck with me to speed up the cleanup process in the rain. Very helpful and helped with the beginning of the healing process for my family. Thank you!

They clearly explained the entire process, which brought us some peace of mind during a very difficult time. We were specifically looking for a funeral home with a crematory on-site, and Thomas Miller fit that need perfectly. Not only did they have the soonest available date in all of Southern California among the many homes we contacted, but the venue itself was also beautiful and well maintained. For our Hindu service, the staff's knowledge and experience stood out. They were deeply familiar with the rituals and respectful of every detail. The entire arrangement was made during a single visit, which was especially helpful while we were in mourning. We worked closely with Devonne, who was a true professional--always available via email, text, or phone. Coordinating the flyer content, flower arrangements, and audio files remotely was seamless and allowed us to focus on other aspects of the ceremony without additional trips to the funeral home. The level of service we received was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, solemn, and attentive. The venue's spacious hall accommodated a large crowd comfortably, and the included live-streaming service was a thoughtful touch for those who could not attend in person. We would wholeheartedly recommend Thomas Miller Funeral Home in Corona, especially for Hindu and Sikh families in the region seeking a dignified and culturally accommodating service.

I hate doing this because we have given this mortuary a lot of business over the years, but my last experience with them just destroyed that relationship. First, the staff is incompetent, at least the ones I dealt with. Unfortunately, I needed to have cremation services provided for an individual who was not family but whom I was responsible for. I didn't need anything fancy. I went in for a quote, it seemed reasonable so I said let's do it. They called me back about 2 hours later and the price, of course, had gone up...this was after I had asked several times before I left...if the price was the price. Apparently it was going to cost me 300 dollars more because the county morgue needed to squeeze me for a fee. It would have been nice to have an experienced staff member point this out to me...but of course Thomas Miller is sleezy. Next, when I went in to pay, they neglected to tell me they charge 4.5 percent more for you to use your credit card...so I did not bring my checkbook. Guess they figure you'll just cough up money because your grieving. So, I had to go back a third time, to write a check. No problem, I just want it done. Now here is the cherry on the ice cream...they looked at the check when I paid...but called me a week later and said it was made out to the wrong service. I had to make it out to their cremation service...I had made it out to Thomas Miller, and their wonderfully inept staff, again, didn't say a word...so I had to go back a FOURTH time. This time hopefully it will get done, but they got piece of my mind. They don't care...I got the proverbial "sorry about that"...which really means...well you know. Lastly, I asked for the manager to call me...yeah...I'm still waiting...and waiting...and guess what, it's been almost two weeks and my loved on is still not cremated. Maybe Thomas Miller will find another excuse to delay...or squeeze me for some more cash. If you can, find somewhere else to go. We've done a lot of business with this mortuary, but that ended today, and unfortunately I cannot recommend them. Who knows, maybe I'll get someone else's loved one and not even know it! With Thomas Miller, I wouldn't be surprised!

This is something families should be told while making funeral arrangements, not left for them to discover later. If it's stated somewhere in the paperwork, that's not something most people are focused on when they're grieving. It's not right that everything was thrown away without any warning. We later found out that decorations are only allowed during certain holidays, but we didn't know that until we called to ask why everything was gone. We spent thousands of dollars on his funeral because we wanted to honor him and give him a beautiful place to visit and the least they can do is communicate and give a warning so we would be aware. It was heartbreaking to find out that everything had been discarded, including gifts left by his children. A simple conversation or even a courtesy warning before removing everything would have meant so much to our family.
