Delicious food. Friendly and clean atmosphere. Salsa bar is a great touch. I do think Chips should be free but with a free salsa bar it equals out. Guacamole was delicious. Birria is delicious. Not from the neighborhood but will be back.

Grilled chicken nachos - not impressed

We are visiting from out of town and drove past Armando's on our way to Paris Mountain. We stopped in Saturday around 7 PM to get dinner and to bring back to the hotel. We ordered a giant burrito with shredded chicken and nachos with grilled chicken. The giant burrito was not giant, smaller than what you would get a chipotle. The chicken nachos were terrible. It was a handful of nachos with thin liquid queso poured on top and a below average amount of diced, grilled chicken. By the time we got back to the hotel less than 10 minutes later, the queso had solidified 59 the bottom of the pan and it made the chips soggy that it was poured on top of. There was no other lettuce, tomato, sour cream or anything to go along with the nachos. It was a very small portion for $7. The $1 for 1oz of guacamole was not good value although the guacamole was excellent . A lot of the pictures of food posted on yelp look incredible, we just unfortunately had a very poor experience and after spending $18 for the two of us, we are still hungry and unsatisfied. This same exact meal from chipotle would've been enough to fill the two of us and also would have been much higher quality

I've been looking for birria tacos and I stumbled across this place, & let me tell you!! They were so good & flavorful! The meat nice and tender! The cheese was melty! The consommé for dipping the tacos in was yummy too! I definitely will be back to try the other menu items & of course more birria tacos! Very good.

I've been wanting to try some authentic birria tacos. It did not disappoint. It was my first time here and the ladies were very nice and helpful. The environment is very nice and clean. I love how the culture is displayed in the restaurant. The birria tacos are 10/10. The sauce is perfect with it. I got 6 tacos but my husband ate 5. I knew I should've ordered 10 like he said. I didn't think we would finish 10 tacos but it was so good I'm sure we could've. Will recommend this place to our friends and come here again. There are still so much food on the menu we would like to try.

Finally got to try the birria tacos and its well worth the hype! Was so good I came back twice! Cripsy shell paired with cheese and stewed pork was so amazing, but even better with the consome! Even orderd steak tacos on the side and dipped it in the consome and it just adds another flavor layer to the tacos.

I met a friend at Armando's Burritos for lunch today. I had another friend bring tacos to the house last week from Armando's and I was impressed so I offered it up to this friend for lunch today. I started with the cheese dip, which was just a thin white cheese dip, nothing bad, but not spectacular either. Their Horchata was very flavorful, it had cinnamon and I believe nutmeg, very tasty. The real star of the show were the tacos. The waiter recommended the Spicy Pork Taco's (Conchinita Pibil), and they were far and away my favorite. In fact, If I'd limited my order to the Spicy Pork Tacos and Chorizo Tacos this would probably be a four-star instead of just three. The other two tacos, the Asada (steak) and Pastor (Marinated Roast Pork) were decent, but they were very dry. Armando's also has a salsa bar with four or five different salsas, cilantro, onion and other toppings. During the course of our meal several other patrons stopped in and all of them ordered Menudo Mexican Soup. They all looked like they knew something I didn't so that will be what I order on my next visit. I will say, you can't beat the prices here, the tacos are $2.00 each and for the most part better than many of the expensive taco places that have popped up in Greenville lately.

A small authentic restaurant that has a nice outdoor seating area great if the weather is nice!

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant with Reasonable prices. I got three of the spicy pork corn tacos which were delicious. My wife got the supreme tacos which come with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Next time I will probably opt for the supreme tacos bc I like the toppings!

Ordered the chicken supreme taco's, awesome flavor with or without salsa and lime. Will be returning here for my taco fix recommand this place. They also have a salsa bar if you like variety sits right across from wade Hampton high school.

I just can't say enough about the incredible food, service and ambiance. Thank you so much Juliette for your awesome service, kindness and positive customer service we had the pleasure of enjoying while visiting with you! I try so hard to never be demanding or unkind--I already hate having to be different. It's not a fad, it's celiac, I have no choice. It's extremely embarrassing and downright rude to be treated this way for simply asking a question. So if you're gluten free, they have great options, but it's very clear they do not like serving those with allergies.

Chips and salsa are not complimentary, but you do get these cute little wagon wheel looking chips called duros. They're like puffed air and remind me of pork rinds but not as crunchy and probably made from flour. The drinks are all delicious and strong. The margaritas are small but watch out, they'll sneak up on you! Lots of options. They specialize in tequila and mezcal with flights as an option. The bar is the spot to be; bartenders are friendly and they have small TVs to watch whatever sports are in season. The atmosphere is a little lacking in my opinion, but it's all about the food. Food is delicious and the portions are larger than expected. We got the chips and queso, Heidi's Flautas, soup of the day, and the Birria Egg Rolls. Too much food for 2 people so we took some home. For our entrees we chose shrimp mofongo- which we really see in small cities being that it is the national dish of Puerto Rico- and the paella for one. Both were wonderful. I would argue that the size of the paella should be be renamed as a lid of a trashcan serving. It was giant and we barely put a dent in it before asking for a to go box.
