I moved here from CA about 3 years ago now & discovered this gem when I was craving some authentic cabeza street tacos. I've had their asada, adobada, cabeza, lengua, tinga, suadero, al pastor, & carnitas (i know lol). Asada & tinga aren't the ones I frequent though; I personally just thought the asada didn't have enough flavor. Everything else though: great choices! One of the female servers I talked to said Suadero was her favorite & I have to agree that it's the one to get if you eat here! We tried the menudo, lengua tacos and carnitas tacos. All were good, but the carnitas taco really stood out. It was fantastic! The red/ orange hot sauce is also phenomenal. The only drinks available are canned or bottled. The service was friendly and efficient. My only issue is that the menu prices don't match what they charge. Our total didn't add up, and we found out that things had gone up in price. read more

The tacos are some of the best and most authentic I've had beyond from Mexico. Service was efficient and I enjoyed the glass bottle coke. Always a favorite for myself. Stopped in on our drive to Chapin. Wanted a quick bite. Very clean atmosphere. Greeted right away. Complimentary chips and salsa, which was perfect for our kids. Our 14 month old daughter loved dipping her chips. They have two other table salsas that brought the heat. Many varied street tacos for just a dollar. I got the enchiladas verdes. It was spicy, it could have used a bit more flare and seasoning. My 4 year old son liked his chicken and french fries, but he kept eating my rice and beans. It was a nice quick meal. read more

My first impression of the restaurant was that it was very clean! Came here for Saturday lunch with my husband. Service was also very wonderful and we got our food fast. I got a carnitas huarache and a tripas taco. Both choices were so delicious! He got carne asada and al pastor tacos. Everything was so delicious and authentic. They offer two salsa options, both are spicy and the green one was my favourite. I went here for the first time today. Have lived in the area from '06 to now, lived in Mauldin for the last 6 years. I have taken my dogs to get groomed and shirts to be tailored at the same strip yet never tried it. I have been missing out! But today will not be the last time we go there. A friend of ours told us about this place and we came to check it out. It was great! We ordered al pastor, asada, carnitas and chorizo. The tacos were really good! The best part was that their corn tortillas are homemade. I did order a cueritos taco and something tasted off so that's why I'm rating them a 4 and not a 5. The salsas' were spicy and with good flavor. We will definitely come back especially because their tacos are .99 all day Tuesday. read more

I was really surprised by this little place! It doesn't look like much from the outside (or inside really) but the food is awesome. The guacamole was some of the best I've had in town and it was maybe 1/3 of the price. All of the food was good, though I didn't love the quesadillas - the tacos are much better. Quite honestly one of the best and most authentic Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. My wife had the chicken chimichanga both times and it was incredible. The shredded chicken practically melts in your mouth. Last time I tried three of the tacos and they were all light on topics (only cilantro and diced onion) yet incredibly tasteful. The first time we came, my dad asked for a bigger chimichanga with some extra ingredients inside and they were happy to accommodate! Really great service. Oh and everything is very VERY well priced. We walked out both times paying less than $20 for dinner! We are so happy we found this place. Honestly it looks very typical from the outside and it's very basic inside as well but the food .... Literally best Mexican restaurant I've tried in Greenville! The tortillas are hand made and the cilantro and onion are very fresh. The salsas are amazing !!! They have a variety of salsas, green slightly chopped and red and a fresh hot oil sauce. Aguas frescas are very rare to find but they have the best agua de horchata ! This is my go to when I'm craving consomé and barbacoa !! Food is so-so. I've definitely had better. -Chicken chimichanga had fresh diced tomatoes in it. Nothing special. -Refried beans had a large slice of onion in it. -Rice was very bland. -Coke products come in a can, and mine happened to be completely flat. No credit was given, even though I told the waiter about it and did not drink it. Prices are typical of Mexican fare. -$4.99 for above. -Tacos are .99 cents on Tuesdays (no chicken, though). Service is TERRIBLE. -Waited 10 minutes for beverage order to be taken. The food (which took 20 minutes) arrived before the beverages. -Took 15 minutes to get the check, after asking for it. Twice. -Server was pleasant enough, just not very good at her job. The A/C didn't appear to be working (on a sunny, 94 degree day). There was a large fan almost in front of the door, which made coming in a little tricky. It was too warm and stuffy to be enjoyable - even if the food had been good. The tables are a bit close together and it's hard to navigate around them. Parking is very limited, and several vehicles were parked in spots not designated for such. read more

Tacos were great! Had a carnitas and asada soft shell served with cilantro and onions. He had roasted pork hard shell tacos they were served with lettuce tomato and sour cream. In addition he ordered the chicken enchilada plate. The chicken wasn't seasoned and the enchilada was smothered with a tomato sauce (not enchilada sauce) and queso.
