Had a great lunch outing at this restaurant in College Park! We were greeted by a friendly face as soon as we walked in. Our server was very attentive and patient with us since we shared it was our first time visiting. We started with Caesar salads that came out very quickly. I was impressed that the anchovies were clean and not wildly salty. As we looked over the lunch menu, our server let us know we have to option of selecting dinner items too. They're also willing to change the pasta on any dish which I really appreciated. Overall we had a great experience and will visit again soon. My only feedback is that I wish they had a seafood and/or steak pasta option during lunch but I'm sure they would've added it if I asked. Well done Armando's.

I'm out of town for work .. Sitting outside on the patio with no flies is everything .. OMG! The ambience is amazing. This triple tail fish was flaky, savory and delicious. The added crusted on the top... The meatball was filling . That sauce ... My goodness! I dip some of the bread .. perfect !! The server, Micheal was attentive and customer friendly.

Wow. Armando's is a top-notch place! We had a large party - I think there were twelve of us. One person in our party lives in Armando's building, and they are regulars. We had no trouble getting reservations. The ambiance is very nice - well-decorated and spacious. The service and the food were both outstanding. With so many of us, I couldn't ask everyone to wait to start eating so I could take pictures of their food. I did get one picture of my Salmon Salad, which was great. The others at the table ordered a variety of food and everyone raved about it. I'm not sure when I'll be in Orlando next, but this is a definite on my go-to list for the future!

So this was my first time coming during happy hour. The drinks were great and I also had an amazing scallop appetizer that was to die for with that sauce they added. Mmmm. For my main course so had a salmon salad that was also really good. I'm definitely coming back with some friends to try other menu items. The server was on it. And the ambiance of course was as good as it gets on the college park area. Outdoor seating is a must.

I noticed this gem walking from another restaurant in the college park area and decided to try it out with some good friends. I made a reservation with no issues. Walked in and was immediately seated. They have a very extensive menu and drink menu. Some of the pastas are homemade. Our server was so attentive and nice. She educated us on some of the menu items and answered all of our questions. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice: it's a nice Italian flare. They also have a large wine menu. We started with the meatballs and calamari for appetizers. Calamari was lightly fried and seasoned very well. The meatballs were very good. I had the salmon with white wine lemon sauce. The salmon was great, pan seared. I shared the cannoli with my friends and it was great (first time trying it) Definitely try this gem in college park!

Fun little Italian place in Winter Park. I'd say that the good is the ambience, whether inside or outside it's quite nice and gives that 'small neighborhood niche' energy. Our server was super nice and offered us a tiramisu on the house unprompted. The energy is nice and chill. However, the food is quite underwhelming. The bruschetta was fine and had a fresh flavor from the tomatoes but I think it could've had more flavor. Definitely not the worst I've ever had but nothing spectacular. 5/10 The free bread was good, it was dusted with cheese and came with a delightful little olive oil. I got the Rigatoni Armando's which is essentially just rigatoni pasta with a mid marinara sauce (plus sausage n peppers which was nice). The pasta was a little undercooked in my opinion, as it was a little chewy. The sauce was kind of bland too. It tastes like it could've come out of a jar. All in all, the flavor doesn't match the fancy vibe of the place. 4.5/10 The free tiramisu looked a little dry but was not bad, quite soft and flavorful. 6.5/10 on the tiramisu.

5 Stars for great service and authentic Italian fare that is about to hit my list of faves! We came in for a late lunch at 2:30 on a Sunday and just missed the rush. It was the perfect time to grab a table, and enjoy a lull where the restaurant was pretty wide open. Joriath seated us and continued to lead us throughout the meal. He's been at the restaurant for over seven years and it's clear he's a fan favorite server. Below are some food highlights: - meatballs antipasti: wow- this is one of, if not THE best meatball dish I've had in Orlando. It comes with two massive balls, tomato sauce, and a dollop of ricotta. We split it amongst three of us and it was a great size. - Arancini antipasti: order this now. Do it. Immediately. She's cheesy and rice and decadent, sitting on a tomato sauce base. The dish comes with three crispy arancini balls and it's a highlight for sure. - ensalata fresca: I highly recommend ordering this side salad and adding shrimp to make it a main dish. I prefer to go heavy on the appetizers and lighter on my meal. The salad was perfectly dressed and the greens are arugula, so expect a ton of peppery flavor. Our server came around to add pepper as needed, and it added a good zing. Overall, a new favorite, totally unpretentious Italian spot that feels like the real deal. I've been to the Winter Park location, but I've been missing out on this one!

I stopped into Armando's on a Saturday afternoon stroll, in need of some caffeine and a snack. Unfortunately, being a Saturday, we missed their weekday happy hour specials and Sunday brunch specials, but it was the perfect spot to grab a double espresso outside and listen to some live acoustic music playing across the street. Inside is very nice too, dimly lit and rustic Italian vibes so better for dining at dinnertime or dessert. We also ordered the Italian Pizza-nini which the waiter clarified was NOT a pressed sandwich but more of a calzone/stromboli. Not sure why they used the play on words in the name though... but it was delicious and came with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. As someone trying to limit processed meat, the prosciutto was worth the splurge! Lunch prices were very reasonable, especially pasta dishes. If you live in the college park area I would definitely recommend Armando's. I went right before the Jingle Eve craft and food truck event in Ivanhoe Park and I'm sure there will be plenty more holiday events and shopping outings in the coming weeks that require a little stop for sustenance.

What a great place to dine in!!! Great beautiful location in the downtown of Winter Springs. Very nice waiters and hostess. Food was very delicious and fresh. I was impressed with Cheicken Marsala -- super delicious and generous portions. My husband loved chicken Caesar salad. Definitely a place to come back too!!!

We stopped in Armando's for a late afternoon bite. The meatballs were balls from heaven and the bruschetta was divine. The Prosecco was the perfect beverage to accompany it. I highly recommend Armando's!

I came here for dinner one night after the fine readers of Orlando Weekly voted this place as one of the best restaurants in College Park. Since I live in Oviedo, I don't get over to College Park as much as I would like to, so they would surely know better than I would. I decided to take their advice and come see what this place was all about. I made my reservations, found nearby parallel parking, and walked up to this beautiful brick building-esque restaurant that looked like I was walking into an Italian winery of some sort. It's really a stunning visual. Very impressive. We got seated and starting looking at the intimidating menu. We started off with a couple of apps, including the Insalata di Cesare (Romaine, Anchovies, Croutons, and Parmesan Cheese Tossed with Ceasar Dressing). A small salad with a fun salt-bomb anchovie on top. Well-dressed, and a good amount of cheese and croutons. No complaints. Margherita Pizza (Fresh Mozzarella, Plum Tomato Sauce and Basil). The classic pie. The tomato sauce was very fragrant. You can tell it did not come from a can. The mozz was ooey and gooey and gave a good stretch. Could have used more basil, for sure. But the crust was excellent. Held up to the toppings, not too thick, had some bite and some good chew to it. Really good. Then the mains. I got the Vitello Saltimbocca (Tender Veal Scallopini, Topped with san Daniele Prosciutto Crudo, and Fresh Sage, Finished in a White Wine Butter Sauce, served with Parmesan Mashed Potatoes). Veal, cooked perfectly, very tender. A nice umani, salty prosciutto on top to add some depth. The mash was a little much, a huge serving. But overall, quite nice, not something you eat every day. I also got to try the indulgent Ravioli di Aragosta al Frutti di Mare (Lobster Ravioli with Baby Shrimp, Mussels and Calamari Finished in a White Wine Lemon Butter Sauce). Oooh so good. Seafood everywhere, and plenty of it. The butter sauce was nice, and there were mushrooms all through, which always helps. This was clearly the winning dish of the night. Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the service, and the food here. I have no real critiques, and I would recommend this place as a nice date night restaurant to anyone reading this.

It was a busy day for College Park. Lots of people and great music. We decided to have dinner at an outside table at Armando's. Melissa (the manager) worked her wonders finding us a table outside. Our server Miles took care of us. We started with Affettato Misto ( charcuterie platter) and the Insalata do Pollo a fantastic Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Topped the meal off with a Vegetali Pizza a veggie pizza topped with arugula. Very good and a great crust. The girls had lemoncello martinis and I enjoyed a Rodney Strong Cabernet. The food and adult beverages were great!! Our top pick for College Park! Thanks Melissa!! On another note. If one makes a reservation for a large party, please have the common decency to cancel if you're not going to be able to keep your reservation. Especially a large party. Karma!!!

I went for girl's night. Everyone's food looked great, our server could have been a little better, but maybe he was new. I got the pappardelle alla vodka. The vodka sauce was very tasty, I just wish there was a little more sauce on my plate.

Fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. But the absolute star of the night was the pear and cheese ravioli with wine-poached pear and crushed pistachio. I am NOT joking when I say this was a 100/10. This completely stole my heart and honestly took me by surprise with how good it was. The combination of the sweet pear, creamy cheese, and pistachio was incredible. I went in not knowing what to expect and left thinking about this dish. We also got the tableside pistachio and chocolate cannoli, which was SO good and a really fun way to finish the meal. I always appreciate when dessert is part of the experience rather than just something brought out at the end. The wait staff were very nice and attentive throughout the meal. Parking is probably the biggest downside since there's not much available beyond street parking, so definitely plan accordingly. Overall, Turci Pasta definitely feels like a high-end, upscale dining experience, and I think it's worth the price for the right occasion. Granted it was Saturday night, but it took quite a while for a server to come by to our table initially. However, when he did he was very nice and apologetic. The homemade bread decent- crusty and toasty. We started with the ratatouille. It had the most delicious meat sauce underneath, and was served with burrata and pesto on top. The presentation was gorgeous! In my opinion, it was the show stopper of the evening. My chicken parm came out, and it was by far the largest portion of chicken parm I have ever had! It could easily be shared (and was) and still have some to take home (and I did!). The tableside cheese wheel presentation was about the same as I've seen before at the H. The only set back was he had the cheese prepared, but had to wait on the pasta to come out. Not a seamless show, but the pasta was pretty tasty with the fresh cheese. We also got a Detroit style cheese pizza that had a tremendous cheese pull! One thing I can say about Tratto is they definitely use quality cheese. In Atlanta this was one of our go-to easy dates night spots if we had some shopping to do at Lenox. We had an unexpectedly boozy night the night before and wanted something easy and delicious and known instead of our initial plan to try a wine bar that was new to us. I skipped drinks altogether. Sean got a glass of Pinot Noir I got a favorite of mine- the Bolognese and my husband got the chicken parm. Both we were familiar with from previous experiences at the Atlanta location. Both solid choices. We also had a bread service and vining at served with that was different. Really good and a touch sweet. I asked the server to find out what the brand of vinegar used was and she did. She also offered to get me a little cup of it to take home with additional bread. What she actually brought out was a soup cup full of it. I looked up the brand and she basically gave me a full bottle of the vinegar free of charge as a take home garnish. What a sweet and and adorable gesture. Management; you are seeing this she was delightful and so sweet and I hope I did not get her in trouble. This was an incredibly kind gesture. She could not have been more adorable helpful or likable. We also got the butter cake. The seasonal version was a banana and oh my god was it good. We almost ordered a second helping. Just a fair warning if you dine at night this location is quite dark. Our Server was Justice who was truly the sweetest person.

First time here and it's now one of our favorite restaurants…read more We started with the focaccia bread with ricotta dip. This was my favorite thing I ate. Everything about this was delicious from the amazing tasting olive oil dip to the ricotta pistachio dip. Don't miss out on this! We then shared the Fritto Misto from the magical dining menu. My family loved this. For our entrees, we ordered 2 pizzas for my kids (The Pig and Spicy Meatball), Squid Ink Tonnarelli from the magical dining menu, and the artichoke. My family really enjoyed their meals. I got the grilled artichoke. I have a weakness for artichokes. If I see them on the menu, I order it. However, this one isn't on my list to rave about. It was a little tough and bland. It felt like they just steamed it and then grilled it without seasoning it at all. The lemon aioli wasn't great. I would order something different next time. We ended the meal with the Salted Caramel Budino from the magical dining menu. This was good. It had really tasty caramel nutty salty topping.
