We visited here on a Saturday and they were quite busy. They only have wine and beer so do not come expecting a margarita or sangria! Their menu is varied and has a little something for everyone. My husband chose a calzone, and I chose the chimichanga Cozumel! Huge entrées and both were absolutely delicious. He added steak and sausage to his cheese calzone and let me tell you what.... PERFECTION. Marinara sauce for dipping finished off the dish. The chimichanga Cozumel was cooked perfectly and full of delicious shrimp. Food: We ordered the medium taco pizza and 10 chicken wings - sweet chili. The food was overall good. The chicken wings had a good taste and they were not undercooked or overcooked. The pizza dough could have been cooked longer as it was still tasting doughy. It would also be nice if their taco pizza came with chips on top. Service: I arrived a few minutes early. I was greeted when I walked in. I informed them that I was there to pick up my online order. The lady asked me how I placed the order. I informed her that I placed it online. I received the response "ahhhh... what is your name? Oh, online... it might be a bit." and went back to talking to another customer that was also waiting for their order." I asked her how long it would be and she replied with that they are busy so it can be awhile but didn't check in the back to see how much longer. I understand that my order wasn't ready but the appropriate response should be "let me see how much longer" instead of just saying "it can be a bit" and go back to having a casual conversation with another customer. This restaurant impressed so much! When two cuisines are a part of the restaurants, one usually is better than the other. However the Italian and Mexican works great here! The Al Pastor Pizza has so much flavor and soft crust. The tacos shells hold on strong, and the birria tacos stole the show with the consume! What an interesting concept but it works. The salsa has a little kick but not too much. The pizza birria- holy cow. So yummy- perfect crust and it comes with the consommé. Get it !!! The burritos were packed with protein and tasted amazing - mine was not hot , it was actually kind of cold so I unfortunately took one star from my review. I checked out Tacos vs Pizza last weekend with some friends and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered a mix of favorites to share. The Asada Fries, Birria Pizza, Tacos Gobernador, Chicken Quesadilla Deluxe, and the 3-piece Steak Tacos entrée and every single dish delivered. The Asada Fries and Birria Pizza were the clear standouts for us. Creative and packed with flavor. This is a pretty new (as of summer 2025) restaurant on Semoran and showed up when I typed "Tacos" into my web enabled cordless telephone road atlas program an voila, this place! I thought it might be a counter service place, but it's a sit-down and order off a menu type of place. The staff was friendly and welcoming and I needed a few minutes to decide as there were a lot of choices. I decided on the Tex-Mex Chimichanga with Al Pastor as it combined 3 of my favorites... Delicious Al Pastor with Pineapple, That Fried Flour Tortilla shell, and sitting down! One "complaint" is that the chimichanga could have had some crispiness. That's the whole reason for frying it! This thing was stuffed full of meat, like a #@!@# by a #$@#@ @$#$)@ in a #$@%$ @&$%^ subway car. I was surprised there wasn't "filler" material like beans/rice/etc. Totally worth the money. And that presentation with the pico de Gallo, sour cream, and guacamole set up like the Mexican flag (minus the snake). The beans were delicious and there was a LOT of rice, which was good. All in all, I'd say 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5. I'll be back and will proabably try a torta or just some tacos next time. Ok, I get the hype. But maybe for different reasons. The dough, the dough for the pizza and the canzone is light and airy. Making both items not heavy and ready. This really let's the toppings be the star of the show. But I wpuld definitely eat the dough alone, it's buttery. All in all delicious. The tortillas are also super light and a great mouth feel. The asada fries are decadent and a delicious mess of meat, cheese, fresh tomatoes, and guacamole. They serve bottled beer and homemade horchata which my son, who orders it everywhere that makes it homemade, said it was delicious. I had the Mexican salad and it comes in a large taco shell with guacamole,beans sour cream and your choice of grilled chicken or shredded chicken(warning:grilled chicken cost extra).The salad was delicious and it filled me up. They also make their own fresh agua de horchata and they have different types of Mexican food and drinks including tacos and Jarritos. The atmosphere inside is nice with some paintings on the wall and of course the virgin Mary of Guadalupe im the corner, the service was good and the lady that served us was very patient waiting for us to see what we wanted to order and checking on us. When I went tonight, the woman who took my order was so nice and accommodating. She explained that it was a family-owned restaurant. I love supporting small businesses! To start. I only accidentally saw this place while traveling elsewhere. But the name intrigued me. Today we went in and, because we were relatively early in the evening, we had the place to ourselves pretty much. The crew was nice as could be and the familial presence is all over the place. Chips and salsa came first. And that salsa has the exact right amount of kick in each bite. It didn't overtake or overwhelm. I also ordered a few wings for the table. Honestly, some of the best wings I (and my dad and son) had eaten in a long time. So much so we were craving them again for some time in the future while climbing our full bellies into our car. My parents had quesadillas. Massive size and full to the brim. Neither could finish much. But they will be awesome reheated Son got a big burrito Mexicano and he cleaned his plate in record time. Fantastic. This is probably the best value Mexican/Italian place you can visit. My wife and I swung through here out of curiosity and boy it didn't let us down. Some of the better tacos I've had in a while with a ton of variety. They also have a nice assortment of pizzas and pastas you can sample from. I love the variety this establishment provides.
