Pretty good pizza shop with a classic interior vibe. Pretty busy but the had enough seating anf the counter staff was okay. Went with some friends for a few slices (BBQ Bacon Ranch Chicken, Cheese, and Pepperoni). The slices were an excellent size and tasty. The end crust was a little thin for my tastes but overall it was solid. Will try again next time we are out this way for disc golf. read more

Armandos foods pretty good but Armando has crappy customer service. Tried reasoning with him that the reason his greasy steak and cheese was half eaten was because that was me giving it a full faith effort before driving back to return it. He refused to replace and only offered to sell me another. needless to say that was the last time i bought a steak and cheese from Armando. i hate it but his pizzas pretty good tho, but dont expect him to eat any costs while you gamble on his food. read more

Haven't been here in maybe a year or so but went today for a quick cheese pizza slice. Pizza used to be so good and the service was as well. I guess that's all in the past. $5 for a really thin, plain cheese slice that was flopped on a paper plate and shoved into a paper bag. What a disappointment. I mean it was just a plain cheese slice. Nothing fancy. Way overpriced. Service is not what it used to be either. It felt like They thought they were doing me the favor. And the place could use a good cleaning. Door is gross. What a shame. Ordered from next door and honestly, dodged a bullet. If I'd walked over, I'd have been personally responsible for that somewhat soggy crust and rebellious cheese disaster. Instead, it arrived--still terrible, but safely contained. Grateful I stayed put, saved the leg workout. So I posted a good review about their pizza last time. Still love it. Last time we went we ordered pastas. all Alfredo. 2 with chicken, 1 with shrimp. This was about a week ago. Flavors were impeccable. From the sauce to the meat. The only problem is that everyone got sick the next day. My dad threw up and my man and I had it bad for a week. But, he had the shrimp and had it way worse than I did. I'm talking we couldn't eat without having to go to the bathroom right after. Again the shrimp hit him worse though, I had chicken. I ordered 2 large pizzas on Mother's Day. It cost $48 and a huge disappointment. The pizzas were dry and hard to chew. It was like eating cardboard. I suggest adding more sauce and not overworking the dough. Needless to say I gave them several chances and won't be back for their pizzas. read more

Their pizza is delicious and service is exceptional! Picked up a large pizza for lunch at work and we all raved about how good it was! Can't wait to try the sandwiches next! Came in on a Wednesday evening, was only one other table there. Girls behind the counter could not have cared less. My order took 25 minutes and it was awful! Supposedly a chicken parm roll, it was dry, breaded chicken and cheese. That and a soda cost me 17 bucks! read more

They have delicious NY style pizza. Nice and thin, tastes just like a Brooklyn slice. Chicken parm hero's (subs) are very good also. Nice size Stromboli's and Rolls. Plenty of parking in lot. read more

the customer service is some of the worst I have experienced. they make you wait an extra long time for your food. I get it, the food can be very good at times! Here you go: examples! I called and placed order at 11:05 am. it was for 2 pizzas-medium. lady said, ok it will be ready in 30-35 minutes. no problem I said. now I drove from Middlesex to Zebulon and arrive at 11:45. a good 40 minutes after I ordered. I go in and tell them I am here to get my to go order. she tells me the pizzas cooking and it will be a few more minutes. well a few more minutes was actually 25 more minutes. ridiculous!!! Today I went in 11:40 and ordered 2 cold type subs and fry's. There was one person in front of me and he ordered a large pizza. We both ordered and waited. then minutes later another guy comes in and orders a medium pizza. Now we waited for our food, then at 12;05 the guy in front of me gets his pizza. then at 12:10 the guy behind me gets his pizzas. I finally got my 2 cold style subs at 12:20!!! 40 minutes for 2 cold style subs?? They pick and chose who gets there food first. The girls behind the counter could not care less how long you wait!!! The never say I am sorry for the delay. Bottom line is I am never going back. I am sure they couldn't care less. But I am sure another pizza place will want to serve me in a reasonable timely manner and help customers in the line in order of placement. Good Bye Armando's!! read more

The customer service here was very poor! I was attending a parade sitting right outside this restaurant. The food was smelling so good and my family and I were so hungry. I went inside to order food, but needed to use the restroom first. Before I could get to the restroom, a big man yelled HEY!! Do you have an order here? I said no, he said we don't have public restrooms here. I said I was going to place an order, when I was done. He asked what are you going to order. I said a sub, mind you I'm trying to get to the restroom. I thought about it and was like that's not how you treat a customer who comes here all the time. I turned around and left without using the restroom. That's a sure way of losing a regular customer, and they did that day! Customer Service is everything when running a business! read more
