The service at this location is terrible. It was terrible before they closed, tore it down and rebuilt it. We had hopes service would be better when they reopened but it continues to be awful. We went in this evening, the girl at the counter said sit anywhere. We were the only people in there. We waited and waited. Two staff came out and refilled their own drink cups. We finally left. This is the second time we have done this. How hard is it to train young people how to wait tables and work in a restaurant? The owner and manager should go to restaurant training snd pass it on to the staff. This makes me sad as I grew up with good Pizza Huts and I like the food, but I can't return to the one in my town. read more

I worked for pizza Hut about 40 years ago and have not been impressed with most Pizza Huts since they moved away from the full restaurant model. However the Pizza Hut in Zebulon is exceptional. The pizza and pasta were both excellent as was the service. The restaurant was also clean and well maintained. It's what Pizza Hut used to be and we'll make a point of stopping there when ever we go by. read more

They were slammed with staff, everyone there was on there phones.. Even when we ordered, girl was on phone. They were out of stuff, and finally I ordered anyway. When the pizza came, waitress asked would you like some plates and napkins..... I had planned on eating it off my lap, and wiping off with my shirt.. Pizza wasn't actually bad.. I orders a meal tonight that came with breadsticks when I opened the box It was just plan bread. The seasoning is what makes there breadsticks so good there was none. I Simply just wanted them redone properly. Call once they answer and put the phone on mute. After 5 minutes I hang up and call back, get put on hold for 12 minutes after saying they'll get the manager. Called again and the guy hung up on me mid sentence. Called again a girl attempted to help but after 10 minutes I was told to wait for a call from the manager. Normally, I have a good experience but not this time. We came in to order 3 pizzas for the $7.00 deal. The guy at the register said we had to order 2 or 4 pizzas in order to get the deal so we only got 2. Then, we ordered one pepperoni pizza and one pizza with bacon. We got home and it's a cheese pizza and a pizza with bacon. Mind you we repeated the order & so did the cashier. I called the 919-269-6455 number and was on hold for 10 minutes and someone answered the phone and hung up. I will be emailing corporate next. This is unnecessary and poor customer service. If I lived closer, I would've drove back up to the store for a complete refund. read more

I had reservations about eating here and I should have trusted my instinct. My order was not made correctly and the person at the drive thru window did not seem to care when I showed her the pizza. I called back and was able to get the manager on the phone and she stated that she actually made my pizza. I informed her that there was literally one mushroom on each slice of pizza and I questioned if this was common practice. She was defensive from the beginning of the conversation. Horrible! Waited 10 minutes to be greeted and told we could sit anywhere. Then waited 20 min for a waitress. Had to go ask and then she came out with drinks for people who had just walked in. We ordered and were told they didn't have any person pans. So we ordered mediums and she came back to say they were out of medium pan pizzas as well. The most wasted. 45 min of my life. Remodeled and really nice inside! Our waiter was a young man who did an excellent job!! He made sure our order was correct and checked back several times to see if we needed anything. The pizza was made fresh and tasted good. The restroom was clean which is a plus. It was not very busy inside on this Friday evening but the drive up had several cars. If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered online and picked up my order at the drive through window since the front part was closed. My pizza was cold, no sauce with the cheese breadsticks, score was low and parking lot in the back is gross. I handed my card back to the cashier by accident when I handed her a tip after I signed my receipt. She did not return it and I believe she took it. Usually we love this place since moving to Zebulon, but recently there has been two different times were our order had to be canceled due to no drivers. The most recent time our driver forgot our beverage and it took him almost half an hour to go back to the store and bring the beverage to us. By this time our pizza was cold. Ordered on the app, for pick up, was actually very skeptical when it said 15 minutes. 30 minutes later my husband walked in to find that there would be no pizza coming our way. Very confused workers, absolutely no organization, in the 30 minutes he didn't see one pizza leave the building. As I had already been charged, my husband asked for a refund, I'm still waiting for the refund to go through. Oh and the employee when asked about the pizza just said to contact corporate. I'd give this location zero stars if I could. They lack customer service skills. I ordered a pizza ahead of time to be picked up at 6pm. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, super easy and basic. I arrived at 6 o' clock and picked up my order. I failed to look at the pizza to check to make sure it was right "my mistake". I get home and open the box to discover I was given the wrong pizza. I go back to Pizza Hut it's now 6:45pm, tell the lady at the window I was given the wrong order. Gave her my receipt and the pizza she gave me. She responded with "what kind of pizza did you order" and I said "medium cheese pizza" which says it on the receipt she now had in her hand. She comes back a minute later and hands me the pizza I ordered now over 50 minutes ago. I asked her if the pizza is still fresh and hot and she stated "should be, check it, it's been sitting in the warmer" and closed the window. There was no apology for messing up my order and wasn't offered a new pizza. Went home with a room temperature pizza that clearly had been sitting out. What happened to customer service? So I'm local and I've been to this Pizza Hut many times, So I know better than to go in with any type of high expectations. The restaurant is almost always dirty, and they are usually short staffed but hey I walk in already knowing those things. Usually I can at least get a decent meal out of it. Today was the exception. Yes I walked in and there were only two tables still seated and most of the tables were still dirty. The server sat us at another dirty table that had food on it and food all around the table. So I moved myself and my family up one table where it was slightly cleaner. After taking our order, he brings the drinks holding the rim of the glass with his dirty hands. I absolutely hate when servers do this so I told my kids just use the straws and do t put your mouth where he had his hands. I guess this pissed him off and he decided he didn't want to wait on our table anymore. So when the food came out it sat on the counter where you place Togo orders. Several hands reached across it after it sat there for about five mi items before a young lady brought it over. She apologized and said that he had switched with her and didn't tell her. I told her I did t want cold food everyone had already reached across and breathed on so she brought it back to the kitchen where she asked for it to be remade. A completely separate female server and a female manager seemed to be having a discussion about the food being remade and the server (who had never even been to our table) seemed to get visibly angry about it and roll her eyes. The manager then said something to her about it and her response was " I'm not worried about their black asses". The manager then looked back to see if I was listening and of course I was. I told my kids and husband it was time to go and we walked out. My husband went back inside to get the corporate number but was given some local number by the same manager who was engaged in a conversation about our "black asses". I just looked up the corporate number myself and made the complaint. We will see if anything comes of it. It's a sad day when people somehow believe that just because you are black, you are deserving of cold breathed on food and fingers in the drinks. And the server who made the disgusting remark and her manager were also black. They should really think better of themselves and keep their discriminatory thoughts to themselves next time. The food is normally pretty good. But goodness gracious you have to fight to get the food you actually ordered. Tonight was probably the fifth time in the last six months that our order has been incorrect when we pick it up. Either missed an item, toppings are wrong, not stuffed crust. I don't think our orders are particularly difficult. Normally consisting of cheese sticks, a thin crust pepperoni and pineapple pizza, and a stuffed crust pepperoni pizza. However, as I said before this is rarely the order that is prepared when we arrive. I don't understand the miscommunication. We order online. The receipt is correct, but the order is rarely correct. Pizza Hut Zebulon, just reopened after a complete rebuild, very excited to get Pizza from them. Won't go Back! Placed molder online at 4:00 pm for pick up at 5:45, got there at 6:00 waited in drive through (a while) got up to the window only to be told they hadn't started my order. Asked how long it would be, the girl said she didn't know, said they were backed up due to the volume of customers. I askedher to go ask and could they start my order since I ordered it a lot earlier. Shebang back and said they can't find the order can I come inside. I went inside to find not many customers but there were quite a few angry standing by waiting for there order. The guy at the counter said they couldn't find my order but it was made. He went back to talk to the yelling person making the Pizza. She screamed at the poor kid saying she needed a receipt. He had it in his hand but she wanted the one I printed. I had to go back to my car to get it, gave it to him, he gave it to her and she continued to yell that she had made that order. I felt bad for the kid and told him, how about you tell the screaming woman in the back to cancel the order and give me a refund. He told her, she came to the front and was very rude, said who's the person wanting a refund, I was standing right in front of her. She was not happy, told me, I made that order twice and was about to make it again. Then she wanted the credit card I purchased the order with, so I had to go back out to my car to get that. When I walked in the door she is yelling, where's the card? At that point I began to believe she was the manager because no one else could do the refund. Got the refund, then went to Mc Donald's. If I could give a negative I would, this place doesn't care or take pride in their work??! We tried to order delivery online, it wouldn't go through, "business not taking internet orders at this time" so we went down there in the dark, no outside lights on, 10+ cars parked in the parking lot. We go in and they say they are not taking in any "dine in" customers because they are 2 hours behind on making pizzas. There was only one couple sitting in a booth. This was at 6:30pm on a Friday, why would a restaurant turn away customers?? I looked around told them that they had no outside lights turned on, manager went and turned them, I told her it was a waste if they are not taking any customers? There was at least 7 working people in there? I used to work at a Pizza Hut in my youth and I know there are ways to handle an influx of sales but never did we turn away customers.
