Off Park Ave and it was early dinner so parking was easy. Ordered up some carbonara and four cheese raviolis. Our entrees came out very quickly and both were very good. The staff were very attentive and offered suggestions for dinner and dessert. It was a quiet meal but this place gets cranking on the weekends apparently. So reservations are a good idea during primetime.

Food is phenomenal! My spaghetti and clams dish was the envy of the table. Location is on a very nice street with other fancy restaurants. Our service was good but not great. It took a while to get our bread. There is an open kitchen concept. We were seated by the kitchen. It's a very popular restaurant so can get loud.

Can't say enough good things. Sat outside although while it was hot, it was OK with the fans. Our server was great. The Food, however was the stand out. 10 out of 10.

SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: 5 DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 3 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.71 Cute little Italian restaurant in winter park that our friends wanted to have lunch at. We requested to dine on their back patio which is gorgeous. Our waitress was superb and on top of everything throughout the meal. We were extremely pleased because we didn't know what to think from the mixed reviews online. I had a Burrata e Prosciutto pizza. The pizza was absolutely amazing. The dough was crispy and fluffy, and the sauce was special. All of the ingredients were top quality. Everything ordered looked amazing, and the portions are quite large. Overall, the experience was amazing. Was the perfect dining experience with friends. The staff from the front door and our server were amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you love Italian food.

This restaurant is a great family facility. I love the outdoor terrace. Unfortunately the night we went was busy and there were not many servers to help with our large party. Our server seemed very flustered. We did have a cook come out to entertain my little ones. But outside of that the food was delicious. We tried each others dishes and i love getting pasta from here.

We recently stopped by Armandos for dinner and overall enjoyed the experience. We were told this was a great place to eat so we had to try it. We were seated immediately on the patio which was beautiful and comfortable. Our server was very attentive and friendly. For an appetizer we got the calamari which was a nice sized portion, but lacking any sort of seasoning. The batter, however, was crispy and fresh though which was nice. We then both got the arugula salad that was with our entree and it was fresh and tasty. It was a simple salad of arugula, a tomato type dressing and some Parmesan. For entrees we got the Seafood Risotto and the Sausage & Pepper Pasta. The risotto was extremely flavorful and had reminded me a bouillabaisse with perfectly cooked seafood. I would get that again in a heartbeat. The pasta dish was simple, lacked seasoning, but a decent dish. Overall we will return as there are many menu items that look well. The risotto was perfectly seasoned while the other items were very lacking, so could have just been an off night or a new cook. I recommend you try this restaurant if you are in the Winter Park area.

5 Star update for the best outdoor date night ambiance and dishes that left us smiling! It's been almost 10 years since my previous review and a recent date night at Armando's begged for an update. We called same day and scored an outdoor table reservation. As a note, if it's not a weekend, you shouldn't have problems with no reservation. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend the outdoor seating, for a prime spot looking out at beautiful Hannibal Square. Things we ordered and loved: - Insalata Fresca, but also the Insalata della Casa. Their side salads are always perfectly dressed with housemade Italian vinaigrette tossed throughout. This tangy dressing, paired with arugula and shaved parmesan is ideal when paired with a rich pasta dish. - Arancini appetizer. It's so good, guys. The crispy rice along the outside, along with the creamy cheesy interior and the acidic tomato sauce creates a balanced, rich and decadent dish. - Spaghetti Carbonara. It's a classic for a reason, folks. The salty and crispy pancetta is the right topping for the creamy pasta. We had leftovers and the dish held up the next day too! - Limoncello Cake. Finish the meal with this bright and tart cake! It won't disappoint. - Cocktails. A note about their cocktails. They are boozy and filled to the brim! My almost overflowing martini glass lasted me the whole dinner! Overall, great date spot that is back on my rotation!

Armando's is one of the only Italian restaurants I really love in Orlando. My family and I have been coming here for years. The outside seating is really nice and inside the restaurant it is loud but you can see the chefs at work in the kitchen. We went here recently to celebrate my mom's birthday and enjoyed the magical dining menu for $40 including an appetizer, entree and dessert. Everything was so good! Calamari fritti, shrimp cocktail, spaghetti Alla vongole, veal piccata, and pumpkin ravioli. For dessert we had the tiramisu and a limoncello cake that were both to die for! I've been nonstop thinking about the meal the last few days and had to give them a good review. If you're reading this, go get yourself some delicious Italian food and enjoy their magical dining special!

FINALLY, an Italian spot that has an all beef lasagna!! It was good! Food was served quicker than I expected and the staff was nice. Would definitely come back, nice spot for a date night or friend catch up!

The service and the food are amazing. Our party had the clams, ravioli, chicken Marsala and I had chicken cacciatore. The portions are a good size. Our server couldn't be nicer or more attentive. I live in Lakeland but when we visit our daughter we have dined have dined at the College Park location several times, never disappointed, highly recommend, lovely location offering indoor and outdoor dining. I dined at Armandos with my fiancé and our friends (party of 10) to celebrate our engagement this past Friday night and it was all around a positive experience with a just a couple minor setbacks. We have been here quite a few times prior and have always found the food to be fresh & delicious - And this time was no different. The bruschetta is well-seasoned and the portion size is massive, the salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection and the bite I tasted of my fiancé's veal was very tasty (if you're a big lemon fan, you'll love this dish). Armando's is one of the best restaurants you can find in Orlando that offers the next best thing to an authentic Italian experience (I've been to Italy, so take it from me!) The only two issues I had with our evening: 1) It is very, VERY loud. This isn't really the restaurant's fault, but it put a little bit of a damper on our time since it was such a struggle to communicate with everyone at the table, even those seated directly across or even next to us. I'm not sure what can be done to improve this, but my advice is if you're hard of hearing or prefer a quieter setting - Either go on a week day when it's not too busy or take advantage of their outside seating. 2) It took an extremely long time to get our entrees. Totally understand there were 10 of us, but it was to the point where some of my friends were barely even hungry anymore by the time the food finally made its way out. Something else to keep in mind if you're thinking of having dinner here on a weekend with a larger party. Overall we were satisfied and although we probably wouldn't return with a big crowd on a weekend, the delicious food will keep us coming back otherwise (booking outdoor seating next time for sure).

Chicken parm with spaghetti with vodka sauce

Loved everything about this place. We were seated at a nice little table outside. The weather was perfect. Our super attentive and hard working server Joseph made our experience there even better. We started with the meatballs. They were so tender and the sauce is spectacular. We were fighting over it. Then they brought the bread. It was like a light focaccia with a Parmesan crust. It was superb. We had three baskets of it! Then I got the chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and my sister got the chicken parm with spaghetti that we topped with vodka sauce instead of marinara. The dishes were so very good. They were both excellent but I couldn't stop eating the chicken parm dish and it was so big, my sister and I finished the chicken parm plate and I took the Marsala home. I ate the Marsala today for lunch and it was fantastic. I went inside just to see what it looked like and it was so quaint and rustic with just enough elegance. The kitchen is completely open which I love. I will most definitely be coming back here. It was simply amazing.

For our main entrees my husband ordered the pasta carbonara and I ordered my favorite pasta bolognese. WOW this is the best pasta bolognese I've found so far in the United States. The flavors brought me back to Tuscany and the pasta made in house was perfect! My husband enjoyed his dish but he is not as big of a fan of the large pieces of pancetta, but that is more of his own personal preference. We ended our meal with decaf espressos and dessert. My husband had the cannoli and I had the tiramisu. It was the best way to end our meal and we enjoyed every last bite. The chef did send out complementary cheese with balsamic, which was appreciated. Overall, the food was overrated and it was expensive. I've spoken to friends that have also dined here and they agree. Arriving at the restaurant was easy-- there was a street parking spot about a block and a half away. Our party was sat outside-- which was fine as the rain was winding down. We came for Magical Dining, and I found the portions well-sized and delicious, though I'm disappointed the entrees did not have protein. Going back to the experience which sadly overshadowed the food, the bees were soon everywhere-- sitting on our plates, flying around, etc. I asked our server if we could move as a member of our party was allergic to bees, and they said no, and that there was no room inside. The bees continued to circle, and soon, one landed directly on me, and wouldn't vacate. At this point, anxieties were high, and the restaurant was very aware of our issue, but kept quietly walking by, and taking my undrinkable Sprite. At this point, I was in tears and asked the server if we could get the rest of our food to go-- we'd only gotten appetizers. They said yes, so we prepared to leave, but soon after the manager came by asking if we'd like to move to an inside table. We moved in quickly, grateful for the reprieve but still pretty shaken. We finished our meal inside, paid and were able to leave. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by the way the staff handled it-- it was a truly scary experience. Our bill was nearly $100 for just my husband and I and sadly not worth it, as the experience was ruined. At this time, the restaurant was quiet, but by the time we left the place was packed. It should be noted we left at closing time as we had such a fun and enjoyable experience. Our happiness (and the fact we spent almost seven hours here) was due to our server, Emily B. Although Emily told us she has only been working as a server here for the last two weeks, I think she will have a great run at this location. She has an effervescent personality and was easy to talk to and laugh with, which she displayed to all of her customers. Obviously, we became good friends with her throughout the night. Emily allowed us to have a tasting of various wines to determine which one we would like to select for the evening. We went with the Adelsheim Pinot Noir ($88 a bottle) to start the night. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates (serving of three), the Burrata (a combination of cheese, basil pesto, tomatoes and balsamic dijon vinaigrette on wood grilled ciabatta bread), the Tuna Crudo (seared ahi tuna with cucumbers, pineapple and cilantro) and a board consisting of Spanish style salame and aged Gouda cheese. The board also had roasted almonds and honeycomb, along with the bread. As the night continued, we ordered another bottle of the Pinot Noir and a second helping of the fantastic Burrata. We appreciated the fact that we were not rushed from our table as we were allowed to have a relaxing and enjoyable evening of great conversation. At the end of the night, Emily provided us with a slice of olive oil citrus cake on the house. (What a thoughtful touch!) It was a heavenly ending to the evening and went well with our wine selection. If you are ever at this Winter Park location, I highly recommend you request Emily B.'s section if you are able to do so. As stated above, she made our evening. Thank you, Emily B!

It's decorated with lots of plants and flowers, which makes it stand out. Once you walk inside, the ambiance is very relaxed with a nice country-style vibe. If you're planning to come here, I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We had to wait for our table, so it's better to plan ahead. As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. This location is right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, so it's a nice area to visit and walk around afterward.

Will I return - more than likely. I would encourage the owners to have the menu description more closely match what is delivered. Next - our server was awesome.

WOW. I had the Black Grouper Plicata, and it was hands down the best seafood dish I've ever…read moreeaten--perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a reminder of why fresh, well-prepared seafood is unbeatable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service attentive without being rushed, and the whole evening felt special from start to finish. We had a fantastic night and are already looking forward to our next visit. Exceptional food, great service, and a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Ugh I kind of hate writing this review because we've loved Antonio's downstairs for years. When…read morethey announced that they'd been bought, the first thing that jumped out was that I hoped the market wouldn't change that much. Well, sigh, it definitely has. I can no longer run over for produce or some proteins for dinner. I happily supported them over Publix for years. The shelving areas have been cut in half. The wine cooler is no more (granted it hasn't cooled properly in quite awhile). One of the best parts of Antonio's downstairs was being able to grab a bottle of reasonably priced wine with the $5 cork fee but the Prosecco we've enjoyed for years has increased over $5 a bottle plus that cork fee... not the deal we've had in the past. They did add a happy hour downstairs... that ends at 5pm. Catering to retirees maybe? The restaurant space is more open due to the downsizing of the market. The service is not the same though most of the staff seems happy to be there. I know things can't stay the same forever but super bummed about this one. I guess I should just be grateful for the years we had with the original.

We had the house red wine for only $6 a glass. It was very good. We also ordered a homemade cannoli to take home. No doubt it will be perfection. Gotta have pizza to complete a perfect Friday night. After driving by this location many times, I…read moreordered over the phone for a pickup order. I was given a time it would be ready, but unfortunately had to wait almost another 20 minutes than originally given. The store front looked cute and had several tables inside and outside to sit at and eat. As for the food, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, garlic knots, and an antipasta salad. The antipasta salad was delicious. It was packed with lots of meat and I enjoyed the dressing. The garlic knots were PACKES with garlic. So much garlic that yes, it will fill your car, your fridge, and you may also smell like garlic. They were cooked great. As for the pepperoni pizza, it was just okay. It did have a good amount of pepperonis on it, but the pizza as a whole just lacked flavor. It was a bit bland. Also the bottom of the pizza needed to cook a bit more. I will come back but I think the antipasta and knots will be my go to.
