He was easy to communicate with from the start and didn't lose time (or make me lose time) with unnecessary BS - yet he has been patient enough to explain to me a couple things I needed to know about sockets, bulbs, and cost. As for his work, he took care of everything that needed to be fixed, installed or replaced - in a more than reasonable amount of time (less than 1,5 hour to fully install a new flush mount light fixture, fix two other ones, replace/fix 3 wall outlets and 6 switches + a couple other minor things). other electricians and handyman outfits wanted a $200 minimum to take a look at things, when i was sure that my faulty kitchen lights were only due to a light switch problem. Aram was able to come take a look at things within a day or so of my calling him, and indeed diagnosed the issue as simply a glitchy dimmer switch. he replaced the dimmer with a far more modern flat touch-plate style (no knobs to get knocked off the wall! cool!) that itself retails for about $30 at home depot. the whole thing was done quickly and cleanly for less than half what the other guys wanted to charge me. Our house is old (built in 1957) and there are a lot of issues but he solved them quickly and efficiently. I originally needed a new outlet with grounding for our new dishwasher and disposal in the kitchen but I've been looking for someone who can install a new chandelier (I wanted to shift the position by 2 feet and the new one is heavier than the old one so it needed an extra support) for the dining area.
