I had them change the locks on my house when I moved in, they came by at 8p when we locked our keys in the car and didn't realize that we lost the spare key. That last part led us to have them cut us a new key. I was given several options and was not pressured in away to get the most expensive setup. Wow... Still cannot believe the type of service I recieved here. I honestly thought that only dealerships programmed key's until my friend told me about this place. I had originally taken my vehicle to the Nissan dealership which was extremely inconvienent for me for several reasons. The dealership didnt even have the key when I first called them and told me they could get it in two days. I told them on the phone I needed to get it programmed too so they said you could do that when you get here. When I got there two days later to pick up the key they told me they couldn't program it then because they didnt have a special tool available and told me to come back the next morning and that it would take two hours to do it. They also told me that it was going to cost $185.00 Now a days Im pretty sure most people dont like to wait two hours I mean that is just really inconvienet for me so I thought I would take another route. I went on Yelp and unfortuntely this place didnt pop up first, (maybe because Im in Rockville) and I called 3 other lock smiths. All 3 of the lock smiths didnt pick up the phone immediatley and Im not going to drop names here because I dont want to but out of the 3, 1 of them called me back 15 minutes later only to let me know that he did not program car keys but gave me one of his friends number who did. I then called his friend to get a quote of $120 which to me sounded much better then the stealership but this guy was mobile and his schedule was packed for the following two days. I then got on the phone with one of my friends and began to tell him the story and he urged me to check this place out. Armen Lock. I was hesistant at first because I thought the price was going to be about the same but something pushed me to call this place becuase my friend recommended it so highly I am so glad I did!!! The quote they gave me was a total of roughly $70 which included a cut key and programming. That was way less then half of what the dealership quoted me. The best part about it was 1) The person picked up the phone right away (like any business should) and was extremely helpful. 2) The service was amazingly fast and I appreciate this because I am very busy!! It only took them 10 minutes to cut and program a key where the dealership would have taken 2 hours and charged me more than double!!! 3) Unlike the crappy Nissan dealership, this place had the key in stock and it was ready in 10 minutes. He was very careful , wore a mask , and did all the leg work for me so I didn't have to come in . He was very efficient, much more reasonable then most places I've been .. and the duplicate chip keys he made for my car actually worked better then the original key. I have an older Honda Accord. I have had only one key for this car for a few years. The plastic housing on this key finally broke about a week ago so I needed to get new keys. I bought two blanks online and realized I needed to get them cut and programmed. I drove to Armen Lock LLC from Rockville with the blanks and about 20 minutes later the keys were cut and programmed. LITERALLY, the best $53 dollars (with tax) I've ever spent in 2016! I had been procrastinating on getting my Mom's lexus car key fixed, and after countless hours of motherly nagging (the key still worked, but the shell was cracked, thus key was being kept together with duck tape). This service was first class from beginning to end. Armen helped me get into my car when everyone else said that there was nothing that could be done. He did this without damaging my car. He was calm throughout the entire process. He also arrived when he said he would. I called the service department at my dealer. They were useless. I called the roadside service the dealer recommends. Friendly, pretty fast and a heck of a lot cheaper than going to the dealer (they have dealer programming equipment btw). Also, because the have a cnc machine they can cut any key. Went to start my 96 Jeep the other day and the car wouldn't start. It felt like the ignition cylinder was stripped or broken. I spoke with the local service station(my car was parked less than a 1/4 mile away) and I described the problem. They said it might be the ignition cylinder, but could be something else. They said I would need to get it towed to their shop(at least $100). If it was the cylinder they said it would cost around $300 to fix. Next I called Armen and explained the problem. He said it was most likely the ignition cylinder and they could come out and fix it. He said they were very busy but would be able to get my car at 8:00pm. . I told him we could wait until the next morning. He called me an hour later and said he could get to it by 5:30pm. His locksmith John showed up on time. John told me the problem was in fact the ignition cylinder and he should be able to fix it in an hour or less. John showed me the part that was broken and fixed the car in less than an hour. Finally a service company that does what they say they will do!!! Not only that, I was given an estimate of $185.00. I was charged $175. Now I would have been happy to the $185.
