If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. I went to Armentas and was attended by a barber named Aren, and the entire experience was absolutely terrible from start to finish. He was extremely rough and careless, to the point where it felt like he was trying to scrape my scalp, not cut my hair. There was no professionalism, no respect, and no attention to detail at any moment. What made it even worse is that he would ask me if it hurt or tell me to let him know if I was uncomfortable, but it was clearly just for show. Seconds after asking, he would go right back to being aggressive and rough again, as if he were mocking me. Completely insincere and disrespectful. On top of that, he constantly asked the other barber what he should do, which made me feel like I was some kind of experiment, not a paying customer. The final result was a complete disaster -- uneven, poorly done, and nothing close to what I asked for. I left frustrated, embarrassed, and angry for wasting my time and money. This place clearly lacks proper training, professionalism, and basic customer care. I do not recommend Armentas at all. Do not waste your time or your money here. Stay far away. read more

They took me in a walk in for a gentleman's cut and beard trim, and AREN took good care of me. Very friendly and professional throughout the process, and great conversation. He tamed my wild hair and beard and sent me back into the world looking respectable, with plenty of check ins along the way to make sure everything was acceptable. Good service at a great price. The staff was friendly and accommodating for walk-ins, Carlos was my Barber, and he did a fantastic job with my haircut. I left feeling good and confident. Where do I start? Carlos is amazing at what he does and is practically a magician at what he does. Very respectful and very funny. I first started going to him about 4 months ago and let me tell you , I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he said say no more. Definitely worth the price for the outcomes. Barber Doll is not only excellent at her job but very knowledgeable! I stopped by opening weekend at the Barber Shop and she was very friendly and open with conversation. I had just gotten my hair dyed purple and she made fantastic suggestions on hair care and suggested products to uphold the color vibrancy for longevity (all of which have worked beautifully!).
