Jason, the owner, was awesome. I had a hole that raccoons had made attempting to access my attic. Another company came out and offered to fill the hole with nothing but spray foam. I couldn't understand how he thought spray foam would keep out animals that had tore through wood! He said it would be over $400 if I wanted metal. I told him I'd think about it and called Jason. He responded right away, worked around my schedule, and was able to come after I got home from work. He was on time, very personable and professional. He had tools and metal flashing in his car and was able to do the job on the spot. He painted it to match my trim and it looks perfect. And he charged me substantially less! We got several quotes for a new roof and Jason not only came in with a competitive price, he was WAY more extensive, communicative, and overall friendly than all other companies we dealt with. We are in the midst of selling our house and the inspection found some issues with the fascia and flat roof on an addition we have. So we checked out some roofers and discovered that those positive reviews that Armour Roofing has on Yelp are righteous! Contacted them through Yelp for an inspection/quote on the damage and Jason, the owner, was in touch immediately. Made an appointment and he was there right on time. I explained the issues more completely with Jason and he went out and inspected the dry rot and the cause. Since I was looking for a repair only, he explained how he would repair it and what the cost would be. Hands down the most reasonable price, so I agreed to have the work done. There was some prep work that we were having done first, but once I called Jodi at the office, she had him scheduled within days of the other work being completed. Jason came out with one of his crew and explained exactly how he wanted the work done to him. Freddy, his crew member, never took a break and stopped and photographed his work at each step. Once Freddy was done (it was a 4-5 hour job), he had everything cleaned up so I would never know I had anyone there! Jason came back a couple of days later (because of my schedule) and inspected the work, gave me a certification for the work and found out he had a customer for life! I can't explain how, during such a stressful experience as selling your home, Jason just made my life so much easier! Armour responded the quickest, came out and gave me a quote in a few days. Even though we had about 20 broken tiles, Jason still only charged me the lower rate. This company exemplifies first class service. I initially scheduled an estimate for a somewhat routine roof leak repair. The receptionist not only got me scheduled but talked to me about the problem and made some suggestions to try to temporarily prevent it from getting worse. The estimator showed up on time and was informative and thorough. Left a detailed estimate. I reviewed the estimate and immediately called to set up the work. At first, the next appointment wasn't for 2 months but she told me that she would keep me on the list in case a cancel came up or they found a little extra work time. To my amazement, they were able to find a spot the following week and came out on time once again. The gentlemen fixed the problem, took pictures to show my wife before and after the repair and went above and beyond the inspection/work promised. The most amazing part of all this was when the owner of the company showed up the next day to inspect the repair and actually walked the roof and found a few more broken tiles. Since the day of their (Jason and Jody's) bid, this company has displayed true professionalism and displayed a friendly atmosphere from the very start. It's, as if; we were from the same state and our paths had crossed before. Jason was very friendly and explained what needed to be done and if there were any change orders from the original bid it would be at cost only and would need to be approved by the home owner. His crew showed up on time every day and began working immediately removing the old roofing material and replacing the new roof. Upon further inspection of the roof there was wood rot in quite a few places and Jason brought the issue to my attention and the areas were repaired. A storm was predicted to arrive in a couple of days, so his crew worked into the night on two occasions to get the roof back on before the storm struck. We had a couple of leaks before the new roof, but once the new roof was on the leaks disappeared and the roof was sturdy during the windy/rainy storm. Each night before leaving the roofing crew would pick up all the nails, shingles and other roofing material, leaving the ground area around the house spot-less. When the job was completed Jason came by for an inspection of the workmanship and if anything was needed, he made sure it was corrected. They're a great honest company and the workmanship is beyond first class. My wife and I are very satisfied with this company. We were referred to Armour Roofing by a friend and so glad we had them out for the repairs on our roof! From the moment I called in April, they were so professional and friendly. Armando showed up for the estimate for the leak and found some tiles that were slipping and some were cracked. He verified this by showing me in person and took photos. They were backed up and said they could get to us in May which wasn't a problem but then we received military orders and needed to sell our home quickly, so they sent the guys out the next day. They worked on our roof repairs and installed a gutter on our back patio. Jason and Armando followed up on the job to ensure it was completed. All of the work was completed efficiently and all the gutter paint matched our home. Everyone was so courteous, friendly, honest and fair.
