My experience with Dan's Roofing was great. I had a leak that turned into a huge problem in my spare bedroom when the ceiling caved in. Armando came out to look at it, and from the moment he saw the damage and the location, he knew exactly what was wrong. I'm not very happy with Dans Roofing. I hired them to install roof vents. They came recommended by another contractor. Should have done my research before hiring this company. They sent a guy out, and I was concerned he was removing roof tiles in the wrong location. I texted Meynor about my concerns and that I have vaulted ceilings he told me to have the worker come inside home and view exactly where we wanted to the vents. After the inside tour of the home, the worker said he understood where he could install the vents. The next thing I hear are a bunch of curse words from the worker, and I see the sky from inside my bedroom. The worker proceeded to take some of my roof tiles out to his car, stating we did not need them. I again contacted Meynor and told him I could see the sky from my bedroom ceiling. He indicated worker mis measred. 3 weeks later, and after several messages later, another worker came out to fix the hole that the worker created in my bedroom ceiling. The patch job was not very good, and you can clearly see where it was patched. I contacted Meynor again, and he told me to use orange peel spray to fix it. Not very good customer service, and I really tried to be patient because I know accidents happen. However, my experience was horrible with Dans Roofing. Ugh, it's simply awful experience, and now I have to find a new company to do roof vents. read more

What really stood out about Dan's is the great communication from the moment you call, until the job is finished. We just got our roof replaced and the entire process was very quick. The team was professional and got the entire roof done within 3 days which was awesome. The only issue I've had is that the pipe connected from the water heater to the roof came apart in the process, and when I called the office about it, they explained someone would come to repair it. I've called a total of 3 times to get assistance with repairing it but no has come to do it so unfortunately I'll have to hire someone else to do it. Again, everything else about my experience was great except for not having the vent properly reinstalled. read more

My leak was smaller, but now dripping somewhere else. They came back out and did another repair. During the last downpour, my small leak got bigger. They don't show up or even call to say they don't want or need the work. I waited a day and a half just to get an estimate. The work was scheduled for Saturday between 8 and 9 am. AGAIN NO SHOW. Not even a courtesy call. I reach an answering service at 10:30 that said they would get in touch with someone right away. Another line of crap. It's now 2 pm. I had Dan's Roofing fix my roof in March. I had leak that came into my master bedroom. They said they located the leak and it was an easy fix. The next day they had a worker come out and spend an hour or so. He said it was fixed and he was confident that I could repair and repaint my ceiling. They charged me $300 and said it was guaranteed for a year. I couldn't test it as we had no rain to speak of until last week. The roof still leaked in the same exact spot and it looks like it was worse than before. I called Dan's and the secretary said she would have someone call me that day. No call, so I called again and she apologized and said someone should be calling me the next day. No call again, so I call back and the secretary apologized again and said she would be sure to get someone to my house. No one called or came so after the weekend, I called again and this time I think I got the owner. He was nice and asked me who I talked to before and I told him, I thought it was the secretary. He apologized too and said he would research what happened and get right back to me. Well guest what? Three days later and no call. Luckily I talked to the builder of my house and they said it was still covered and they would take care of it. Bottom line is, I will never use Dan's Roofing again. Highly disappointed, I had them inspect my roof, after they inspected the roof they gave me a quote to repair, I excepted the quote, set two appointments for the repairs and they never showed up for either one even though I called to find out what happened with both appointments. They showed up everyday at the same time and worked consecutive days until the job was complete (even Saturday). In addition to replacing the roofing underlayment, they identified and replaced some rotted plywood and fascia, as well as broken tiles. Great experience from start to finish. I was in desperate need to repair a leak/damaged skylight. Armando came over and provided a good price to repair the damage. From the beginning I received text message updates on appointment confirmation and when the tech was on his way. My worst nightmare happened on March 12,2020. I could hear the sound of water dropping on the floor INSIDE my house! I panicked; my carpet was soaked in one corner and I looked up and saw we had a leak! Honestly this is the worst time It could have happened not only was currently raining, but the forecast showed rain for the next two weeks and to top it all off we're in the middle of a pandemic! So naturally your first thought is whose going to come fix this for me? I'm never going to find anyone! Fortunatley I was able to get ahold of my realtor (because we purchased the home back at the end of December) and she had the phone number for dans roofing; who fixed tiles for us after our home inspection. Once I got ahold of him the excellent treatment andexperience began from there. I called him Friday and left a voicemail expecting not to get a response because all that has been going on; but sure enough he called me back within and hour and had three guys out Saturday morning. I was out running errands Saturday so I told my husband call me when they get to our house. When my husband called me he told me they already found the problem and we're fixing it!!!!! No pressure sales like I'm used to when asking for an estimate. I decided to hire them and I'm glad I did. Not only did their techs do a beautiful re-roofing job on our large 2-story home, but they completed the job from start to finish in less than 2 weeks - actually only 9 days - in the blazing August heat. Their workers were most polite and considerate of us and our neighbors. Work was not started in the AM till after the neighborhood was up and about and was wrapped up in the late afternoon well before we and our neighbors settled in for the evening. Equipment and supplies were stowed neatly away or removed at the end of each work day, and our driveway and walkways were cleared regularly of roof debris while the newly replaced deck off our master bedroom - one of our big concerns - remained damage-free.
